But I don't think Chakra Absorption is a C-rank ability. If so, how much chakra is being absorbed from the strikes of the sword? When the opponent touches the sword (picking the sword up from the ground), is there chakra absorbed also? If the sword is used against you, is your chakra absorbed as well or no? And if the chakra is absorbed, what is the next phase? Are you going to utilize it as it was on your own or no?

Since the weapon itself is not alive or sentiment (unlike Samehada) how is the chakra shared with its wielder? Is chakra coated on the blade so that it can absorb other's chakra (similar to Yoroi Akadō's battle with Sasuke Uchiha during the Chūnin Exams)?

Kinda the reason why I don't think Chakra Absorption is a C-ranked ability (in my opinion).

Chakra absorption(Absorbs chakra upon impact of a body.) D-ranked: 2000$ , C-ranked: 5000$ , B-ranked: 10.000$ , A-ranked: 20.000$ , S-ranked:50.000$.

Should i Make it living?

If you do, it'll be an S-rank sword and you have to explain how is it sentient, or living like Samehada. Just how 'alive' are we talking here? Can it move around on its own like Samehada? Does it make noises? What happens when someone else touches the blade?
