The Final Arrival [Travel]

Daisuke made his way out the village at top speed, wanting to arrive at the Festival of Peace as soon as he could. He couldn't wait to eat all the different food, have fun and of course just relax from being a ninja for once. Taking a quick stop to replenish some energy, he looked up into the bright, yet dark skies. Taking a deep breath in, Daisuke let it all out at once, turning back, getting back on track. He continued to travel to get to the Festival. He knew he was almost there, but still not close enough. Hours ticked by, passing, time passing fast as usual as the jounin made his way closer and closer to his destination. Taking a quick sip of water from once of his tiny, tiny water bottles, he stretched quickly and ran. Ran as fast as he could. He was finally there, he could see the bright lights, shining, hearing all the happy talking and laughter at a distance.

Conveniently enough, Daisuke was hungry, so he made his way closer to the festival. He stood at the big entrance and looked. He'd never been at such a large event, never as populated as it is. He quickly took a glance around to find a food stand. He walked over to a stand and asked for a quick snack, a BBQ pork bun as it was one of his favourites. Taking a big bite, with a small smile on his face, for once he felt truly happy. He was surrounded by people that would be not paying attention to others, but having fun themselves. It was the beginning of true peace... hopefully.

Kamina had just passed through the village gates, almost all the important had already departed, himself excluded obviously. It wasn't his fault though as he was held up by a mission and got a little side tracked by the dastardly evil looking kittens that patrolled the streets. They were so evil he couldn't help but scoop them up and wubs them to death. Shaking those cute fuzzy wuzzy kittens out of his head Kamina looked onward and further down the sandy trail that was surrounded by more sand. It was rare to find trail that wasn't sand around Sunagakure.

Kamina's destination was in the Land of Rivers. The Festival of Peace was currently underway and his Lord Kazekage was no doubt there and more than likely with a few other high ranking sand ninja. It wasn't necessary for Kamina to attend but as the Captain of Sunagakure's Anbu he felt the need to be there and to represent his land. That and there was the slight chance that some silly third party terrorist would think it was a great idea to try and take out all the kage at once, which translates into one helluvan ass whoopin. The growling of his stomach disrupted his thought process. Wanting to get his hands on some food he picked up the pace and began a sprint towards the Land of Rivers.
