The day had subtly evolved into night and the festival events was beginning to die down for the day. People were retiring into their inns and hotels, but one soul and another stayed out. These two people were ninjas from Yukigakure, so snow ninja. Each harboring pure white hair, only one was dressed like an actual ninja. This ninja was only a Chunin subordinate to the other who was an Anbu member and decorated with two blades. The one with the two swords was seated upon a boulder and his partner in crime was squatted down beside him brushing his fingers in the grass. The harsh and vibrant lights from the nearby village dimly lit the are the two loitered in as they simply waited.
What they waited for or more specifically what the ninja with two blades was waiting for was his opponent. He had said he would meet Junpei out on the east road and here Junpei was in hopes of a decent battle before it was time to head to bed. On top of that if the man decided not to show there was a tale that warriors would meet at the East Gate of the village as the moon would occupy the sky. The purpose of this meeting was to battle of course. May it be to the death or just a healthy spar, every night a battle was rumored to take place in this general area. "Think he'll come Senpai?" The Chunin looked over at Junpei who was resting his elbows on his knees leaning forward, with a yawn he replied. "I'm not sure, but if he doesn't then maybe another will . . . at this point in time I'm just looking for a good fight. Seeing you back at the festival on the stage got me all hyped up, you were kicking some ass back there." Junpei yawned and moved the palms of his hands to his cheeks moving them in a circular motion. The Chunin would chuckle modestly at his teachers comment and give a tiny bow of the head. "I guess we play the waiting game." Junpei looked over at the ninja and nodded. "Yeaup." No breeze passed as the two just simply waited in silence for some unknown warrior to arrive.
