A Battle Between Friends [Sparring Topic] [Private] [No Kill, No Permanent Damage]

Axel was awoken by a hard thump on his window. He was now conscious, but refused to open his eyes, but then another thump got one eye open, and another got the other open, but he still did not want to move. All it took was one final thump to make him jup out of his covers, and peer out of his window on the wall behind his bed. He then saw three kids running away as they saw the face of the boy who lived in the home they were throwing rocks at.

'Stupid kids. I will catch them later an teach them a lesson,' Axel thought while sitting on the edge of his bed. He usually wasn't grunpy, but the chunin gets a very different personality when people disrupt his sleep. Now he was up early as usual, but couldn't fall back to sleep, so he made due with what the day had given him, began to wash up, then put on his usual attire, which consisted of a white T-Shirt, a grey collared shirt with a black tie over that, a white overcoat with green stripes over that, black school pants, a black belt, and black sneakers. After that, he equipped himself with his katana, plenty of kunai and shutiken, and a small amount of smoke bombs and explosive tags. Axel then went into his kitchen to eat, then finally left his house via the front door.

After standing there and feeling the wind pass through his body, the teenage boy dashed across Konoha to get to the training field. Today he was going to do a mission, but instead of following up on that routine, yesterday he asked his good friend Sora to meet him in the forested area of the field so they could spar. After a few minutes, Axel made it to the location, and now was waiting for Sora while leaning on a large tree.

Sora was at the training field long before Axel would arrive. After all, the element of surprise was his best choice here. It was the best choice for any shinobi in any battle...anyways, Sora was hidden in extremely thick foliage, his green clothes aiding in camouflage. With his Byakugan active, he could spot the familiar chakra system of Axel entering the training field. The newly made Chuunin waited three hours for this, but it was worth it. Sora felt that it was always nice to spar with the people in your village to see how you were doing skill wise.

As luck would have it, Axel would be leaning against the same large tree that Sora was on. In his mind, the Chuunin quickly went through multiple scenarios. Since this was a spar, the best one would be something Taijutsu related. He thought about being a little fancy and using his Hyuuga clan techniques, but that would be a little to flashy and overkill. With the advantage of surprise and momentum, even if Axel was stronger physically, it still wouldn't do much to help him.

So, Sora leapt off of the ten meter tree directly on to Axel. He was silent like a true shinobi. No, he had no reason to look up like random birds. It was the perfect condition for attacking.

As soon as he landed on Axel, the attack would commence. While on top of his friend, he would launch a series of brutal punches with the strength and speed of someone who has mastered their body.

"Sorry bro, I ain't holding back! Enemy ninjas wouldn't pull punches either, remember that!"

This would continue until Axel was knocked out cold. When that was done, being the good friend that he was, he would take the unconscious body to the hospital for some checkups.

Jutsu Used: Mature Byakugan

While Axel was leaning on the tree, he wondered when Sora would be there for the fight, but unkown to the chunin, the hyuga was already close. In fact, he was standing atop a tree branch located on the same tree Axel was leaning on, and it appeared that he was waiting there for hs friend to show up, then he would strike. Now that he did show up, Sora attempted to jump off of the tree silently and jump onto his target. Axel did not notice the boy who now landed on top of him, sending his body to the ground. This automatically put the chestnut-haired boy into survival mode, so unleashing his chakra, Axel opened the earth beneath him which swallowed him whole before Sora could attack, until he was fully underground, and the ground closed right after that, leaving the hyuga above ground.

As soon as Axel was consealed, it took him just about 2 seconds to position his body that was underground right below Sora's feet, since it was like he was swimming at very fast speeds. Axel would then shoot his hands towards the surface, grabbing Sora's feet and pulling them as hard as he could, which would leave only the hyuga's head on the surface, thus ending the fight due to his inability to use handseals or pull himself out of the ground. Axel then used another technique that allowed him to stay underground just a few meters below Sora, so if he somehow was able to escape his technique, Axel would still be safe.

Sora landed directly on top of his sparring partner, Axel, just as planned. He was preparing to strike him down and end the fight, when Axel used a familiar jutsu that Sora recently learned. The Hiding Like A Mole technique allowed the user to sink through the ground and move freely. It was a handy assassination technique that Sora would be sure to employ. He would need to use it now, so as soon as he saw Axel sinking into the ground, he would follow suit.

I can't let him get away and launch surprise attacks..Axel, you are mines!

Since he was faster, he would obviously catch up to Axel. Grabbing him by his waist with his iron grip, also binding his arms. Sora would carry Axel out of the ground, still maintaining his grip. As he resurfaced, standing straight up on the ground, Axel's feet would be off of the ground, which would prevent him going back into the ground.

"You know, I don't really like that jutsu. I only learned this jutsu to counter people like you. Fight me head on!"

Sora would keep his grip until Axel would give up.

"I think you should just forfeit, because I can stay here all day."

As soon as Axel began to travel underground, the ground opened up once again, alerting him that someone might be coming after him, and that someone was most likely Sora. Axel was surprised, because he did not know his friend had Earth Release, but now he did, and he would catch him evenually due to Sora being skilled in ninjutsu just like him. After going underground for about 20 more meters, Axel formed 5 hand seals, which were; Tiger, Boar Ox, Dog and Snake. Right after that, Sora caught him, or atleast he thought he did. What happened was that Axel replaced his body with a log right above the two on the surface. Right after that he unleashed his chakra, allowing him to be able to sense all living things within a radiud of 95 meters. He did not let any time get by after that, as he soon but his thumb, then did the handseals for summoning. Within seconds, the big blue bear Brutus appeared in front of Axel.

"I will give you meat! Just help me with this fight!" Axel shouted. He already knew Brutus was going to be hard to control, so he quickly offered him food for later. The blue bear looked at him with a smile, knowing Axel would deliver. Sora would appear above ground soon, so the chunin instructed Brutus to jump in the air. He then pointed to where Sora was underground, and on queue, the bear was in the air, and formed the hand seals that allowed him to use Wind Release: Air Bullets. Eight bullets made completely of air quickly covered the area of ground that Axel sensed Sora would show up in. The chunin also backed up a few meters to not get caught in the explosions of wind. He then unsheathed his sword, and would be ready if Sora came for him. If the hyuga escaped Brutus's assault, the bear would give chase as soon as he desended back onto the ground.

As Sora chased down his friend Axel in an epic, underground race, he began to get annoyed at the fact that he was always slightly behind his friend.

How annoying..it seems that the speed of this jutsu when used underground is based off of the user's skill at Ninjutsu. I should have really studied the jutsu better.

Luckily, he remembered the fact that he could use jutsu while underground. This chase was getting far too tedious for his tastes, and he would like to end the fight before dinner. Sure, Axel was Sora's friend, but he didn't think much of the boy strength-wise. Was it the Hyuuga genes inside of him that made him that way? Perhaps..

Forming a single handseal, the Tiger handseal, at, the same time Axel would start the first handseal for his Substitution Jutsu, Sora would create a powerful glob of water in his mouth, and fire it. The jutsu was like a gunshot, which was the reason it got its name. It was capable of killing an opponent, however, since this was a spar, the killing capabilities of the jutsu were obviously lowered. Instead of tearing through him like a knife going through butter, it would be more like a concussive attack. So, the result of this, assuming that the gunshot would hit, would be a knocked out Axel.

The Water Gunshot was aimed at the back of his head, a blindspot for those unfortunate enough to be born without the Byakugan,

Right after that, Sora caught him, or atleast he thought he did. What happened was that Axel replaced his body with a log right above the two on the surface. Right after that he unleashed his chakra, allowing him to be able to sense all living things within a radiud of 95 meters. OOC: Sora tried to counter my post, but was not able to majorly effect the plot of it, so I just edited it a bit.

Sora frowned, noticing that his attack had little effect on Axel's ability to move. He hadn't even made any gestures that would make him seem like he was in severe pain..perhaps he had accidentally held back too much when he fired that jutsu. But, luckily, he managed to finally catch up with Axel, grabbing him.

"Gotcha now! Hehe..."

Unfortunately, he was not that lucky. The look on Sora's face was of shock as he clung on to a log.

"The Substitution Jutsu..? I got fooled by an E-rank technique? Bah! I think I've been getting too cocky lately..must be the main member inside of me, heh."

With his Byakugan, he was able to detect that Axel was above ground, and summoned a little friend..he was outnumbered, yes, but he would be able to beat the odds! At least he hoped so..

[i] Time to use his own jutsu against him! Super Secret Sora Art: Substitution No Jutsu! [\i]

As he dug upwards, he formed the handseals for the Substitution Jutsu, which was right before he left the ground, popping up..only to be welcome by a frenzy of wind bullets that were looking to tear up his ripe, young, seventeen year old flesh.

"Waaaah! I'm too pretty to dieeee!"

As the air bullets landed, Sora would be knocked into a tree that was 5 meters behind him, seemingly knocked out cold from smacking into the tree so hard. But, unfortunately for Axel, this was not the case, because as soon as he hit the tree, he would poof into smoke. It was a log the entire time, and Sora would be a foot away from the back of Axel. As soon as he was behind him, he would throw a full powered and full speed punch at the back of his head that would knock him out.

Axel witnessed as Sora came up from the ground, and was immediately blasted at by the air bullets shooting out of Brutus's mouth. Upon impact, the hyuga was blown back by the force of the wind explosions, and wnt flying so hard he hit a tree, but as soon as he hit it, a poof of smoke went into the air, and it appeared to be a log the whole time. Sora was actually now behind Axel, and attempted to hit him as hard as he could, to which he succeed. Upon inpact, Axel fell to the floor unconscious, and Brutus, seeing this as he now ran towards the two boys, realized that it was useless to keep fighting, and de-summoned himself.
