- Spoiler:
- Saika is considered to be a beautiful individual, one who has seemingly found and drank from the fountain of youth due to her appearance and age not quite matching up. To be frank, despite being in her thirties, she does not appear to have aged a day pass twenty, and thus is usually confused with an individual who is in fact in their early twenties. The young looking woman has a tall and slender figure, one well endowed with the assets to seduce a man if she so desired. Her hair color is described as being tea colored, since it most resembles the shade of brown found in brewed tea. The hair is fairly long as are her bangs. Her eyes a brown as well, though a much lighter shade, and are described as foxlike. To finish, she has a fair skin tone.
Moving along, Saika is usually seen wearing a long-sleeved violet dress with shorts underneath. A black belt is tied directly underneath her bust, and the ends of her dress is black. She wears this along with black thigh high socks and white boots. With this outfit, little skin is shown. She does not often adorn the Akatsuki cloak, seeing it as troublesome, but shall if concealing her chakra is needed.
Personality Description:
- Spoiler:
- Many would consider Saika a puppeteer of great skill, no she’s not referred to as a puppeteer because she plays with puppets but because of her ability to control a large number of people as well as events with ease. Such a thing is not something a lot of people can say, for a lot of trouble keeping control over a group of five, nonetheless the sheer number she can control. And the number is large, for she controls and leads the Akatsuki as well as the Oshiro clan. And she has never displayed a problem with controlling the people she is task with controlling, and this who get too far out of line are dispatched with haste.
To go along with her ability to lead, referred to as control, she must also be smart on how she goes about things. She cannot go around believing that the world shall not throw consequences at her face, and thus she’s very careful. She deals with her subordinates with care, not wanting to anger them to the point of attacking, for she would be forced to dispatch of them. And good help is hard to find within a world that believes that they are at peace. You also must be smart in order to do the things she’s able to do, controlling events from the shadow whilst keeping her own hands virtually clean, her only crime being the mastermind.
Another dominant trait of Saika’s is her calm demeanor no matter what she’s faced with, a smile upon her face and a chuckle here and there. She could be faced with some troubling news that could effect her plans, and she shall still retain her calm demeanor, rarely falling into fits of rage. Thus, taunting this young lady shall not work, especially if one is trying to invoke her rage in order to use it against herself. It simply will not work unless you know what has the potential to send her into the depth of rage. And to be frank, only her close relatives know. The reason for Saika’s inability to become easily enraged is because she does not allow things to bother her to the point of anger. A problem in her plan? She shall adjust it to fit the variable she had not counted on. And due to her flexibility, chafing her plans is no problem for her.
Saika can also show a total lack of concern for certain things, one of them being the fact that she had dispatched of an Akatsuki member once they had screwed up her plan. She had not been angry nor had she been upset, she just nonchalantly murdered the member before casually calling for her immediate family. The only change in her calm demeanor being the sigh she gave as well as her comment of reliable help being hard to find. Such an event shows her total lack of concern for human life, or at least the life of those who have screwed up. It may show that she has a low tolerance for individuals not following orders properly. And to be frank, it was her own way of saying anybody is replaceable. She does at time display concern, sometimes it being sincere whilst at other times it’s mocking concern.
Her lack of empathy towards individuals does not mean she does not understand them. Just that, her skills in the area is severely lacking. Regret is just not an emotion she can afford having, for regret has the possibility of holding her back, and there’s too much on the line. Thus any events that would usually be seen a regrettable is shrugged off by Saika, marking it as too troublesome to concern herself with and shall redesign her plan if needed.
Though she lacks empathy, she has strong feelings towards her immediate family. She is protective of her twin brother and her daughter, and shall usually travel with these individuals. The two closest family members she has are considered her teammates, despite her daughter not being all that ready to enter the scene as Akatsuki. To make up for such a thing, Saika has taken it upon herself to train her daughter in the ways of Akatsuki. And if she must leave the side of her child, she knows she can leave her in the capable hands of her brother. Yes, she does have a husband that she loves dearly, but she does not want to get him in the middle of her business and he does not ask for details.
Saika has been stated on numerous occasions to exude an air of arrogance about her, but it’s not like this arrogance is unwarranted. During her long life, she has accomplished a great many things and has won a great deal of battles. She has managed to keep her family safe as well as run Akatsuki. And the ability that she holds is quite difficult for people to handle due to their misconception of it being destructive chakra. Either way, she does not act upon this arrogance, for such a thing would prove a mistake. She deploys caution, even though she’s strong enough to handle herself. But she did not live this long nor achieve this much by looking down upon people.
She is not very friend orientated, having busy herself with the many jobs that she holds to form lasting bonds. To be frank, her family is considered her friend and she only has one friend outside of her family. Such a friend she holds great respect for, and does not wish to cause problems for. But, if she must, she shall, for there are goals she wishes to complete. And such goals may prove more important than maintaining her friendships. Especially since she shall misdirect said friends if it means continuing on with her plans.
Saika is quite knowledgeable about the Shinobi world, having traveled to every land and every country within the world. And thus, she has a good idea of how every thing operates. She even is well versed in what she describes as the underground, heinous acts committed during a time of supposedly peace. And has vowed that she would start a war between the countries since that’s what their hearts truly desire. But such a thing is merely a cover for her primary plan, and that’s to release the legendary tail beast back into the world.
A safe thing to note is that she does not see herself as doing anything wrong, just giving the people what they want. There’s no black and white with her, nor is there good or evil, seeing such concepts as trivial and unimportant to her cause.
In battle, she is often seen as insane, caught laughing at nothing in particular as well as a smile that just radiates danger. She is the kind of individual to not underestimate her opponents, nor is she the kind of person to drag out a fight. She is tactical as well as analytical, for she wishes to finish a fight as quickly as possible. She does not immediately resort to her strongest attacks, nor shall she jump into trading blows with her opponent if it can be helped, seeing fighting as quite bothersome. But if she must, she shall show people why she is a dangerous individual. She is often condescending during fights, taunting her opponent for fun just to see how they tick. Though whilst she’s doing this, she is also collecting data on her opponents. For the best power to have is information.
Dislikes: Screw ups, ignorance, fights.
Catch Phrases: 'That was close, neh?"
“I am neither the hero nor the villain, I am just me.”
Nindo: 'Good and evil are such trivial concepts; all that really matters is progress.'

History:
- Spoiler:
- It had been January 14th when Renee Oshiro went into labor. Members of her clan immediately made their way to her bedside upon hearing, all desired to witness the birth of the heir to the Oshiro clan. None was more excited about this birth than Ichirou Oshiro, the leader of the clan best described as nomadic. He had been there when his wife was escorted to the medical tent to await the arrival of a doctor, though the midwives were more than suited to deliver the babies. Yet, Ichirou wanted a real doctor to be present during the events, just in case his wife lost to much blood. The woman was giving birth to twins, and the mortality rate was high within the clan when it came to twins. And since none of them could possibly do anything to save Renee if she were to turn for the worse, the birthing process was halted.
Renee, despite her want to leave the bed and walk around until the doctor arrived, remained confined to her bed by the word of her midwives. Yet she guessed it was fine for she was surrounded by her extended family and husband, and not many women within the Shinobi world could boast such a thing even if the world had been at ‘peace’ for a century. The wait for the doctor would go on for an hour, during that time Renee’s contraction became worse, signaling that the twins desired to be ‘rid of their mother’s womb’, so her husband had joked.
Upon the hour being done, the Oshiro sent to retrieve the doctor returned with the doctor in toll. Now, Renee could finally give the twins what they wanted, out of her womb. Her midwives shooed a large portion of the valley out, needing room so that they could quickly get to their things. Only people allowed to stay was Ichirou, the doctor, and several cousins that were there for moral support. With everything set up, the process that had been halted for a while had been resumed.
Renee did not spend long when it came to delivering the babies, for within forty-five minutes two beautiful babies were resting in her arms. The first one out had been a baby who was named Saika, her younger brother by four minutes had been named after their father. With that, the family came back into the tent, to greet the two new bundles of joy. The two were already considered special due to their status of clan heirs, but no one would fathom how essential they would become to the clan nor could imagine the new KKG acquired through the birth of the twins.
The childhood of Saika could not, and should not, be considered normal by any means. Due to her family’s affiliation with Akatsuki, she grew up amongst criminals whom crimes ranged from petty theft to murder. Thus, she would not be afraid of these people when confronted with them, and even laugh at the face of death. Other than the constant moving from place to place, and being surrounded by criminals, she had a normal childhood. Her best friend being her younger twin brother, though she did play with her cousins as well as the children that they came across during their travels. She had not been affected by the underground world that much, and thus such a concept of peace seemed like a lie to her.
She began training when she turned five, not only for Shinobi skills but political skills as well. Saika considers her Shinobi training to be adequate enough, especially since she did not receive official Shinobi training. She also began training in her KKG, both the clan KKG as well as the genetic mutation KKG she had received. And all training was done alongside her brother. Quite frankly, nothing of importance happened during her childhood, unless one counted the fact that she decided to become a bounty hunter whilst she refined her KKG.
She would meet her husband when she was age sixteen, though she would not marry him until she was nineteen.
Becoming clan leader quite frankly had not been a surprising thing for Saika. She, being the oldest, was expected to take the reins once her old man had died or stepped down. Yet, she had not expected for the man to die four months after her marriage to a young man. The clan had been grief-stricken when such a thing had occurred, Ichirou passing away at the dead of night, leaving the leadership position to his daughter. And despite the fact she desired to mourn, she knew that she had to establish herself as leader, in case there were some members who believed they could usurp the power from under her.
She would grieve in private though. Her husband and twin there to comfort her. Saika was nineteen when she became clan leader, her brother becoming her right hand man.
Saika had been twenty-one when she became pregnant with her child, though she can boast of knowing who the father is. The father of her child is no other than her husband, the man she had married at twenty had managed to get her pregnant, though she knew it would happen eventually. She just had hoped she would not have to worry about a child until she was in her mid twenties, especially when in a couple months she would be attending the Chunin Exams. But it was not like she would abort her child, no for the child that laid in her womb would be the next heir to the clan, as well as being a potential electron user.
Thus to minimize the chances of complication, Saika decreased her activity little by little until she was only preforming the duties expected of her as clan leader. A couple months later, a month before the Chunin Exams, she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl with blond hair and blue eyes. She fell deeply in love with her child, spending a large portion of her time with the baby as she regained her strength. Though, she would briefly tear herself from the child to attend the Chunin Exams, against the orders of her midwives. But after that day, Saika would raise her little girl the best that she could, whilst of course making sure her other duties were taken care of. She would even train her child, especially since said child inherited her KKG.
She had been recommended to not participate in the Chunin Exams for she had only given birth to her baby girl a month prior, the recommended resting period being 6 weeks before one is to get back to normal activities. But of course Saika had not listened to these individuals, being twenty-one going on twenty-two, she believed she should make her own decisions. Even if those decisions had the potential of harming her body for it had not fully recovered from the childbirth. This is not to say that she still had a large stomach, for her body had resumed its usually form within the first two weeks of the resting period, more that she had the chance of putting too much strain upon her body that could lead to complications - like internal bleeding.
Yet this new mother had not concerned herself with the harm she could do to herself, and set out from her current location to the country that was hosting the Chunin Exams, an event that she really had no business being at in the first place. Due not being a Shinobi of any village, she had to steal the headband from a poor soul that she dispatched of along with his team, replacing them with members of her clan. The original plan for being at the exams was not to win, but to gather information on the participates, something that Saika would do.
Saika had registered herself as Hana Kurosawa, a Shinobi of Grass Country who was eighteen, something she easily passed for due to her appearance. Her two family members also registered under a different name. And with them officially taking part of the Chunin Exams, they began their task. Upon the event starting, Saika, referred to as Hana during the events, as well as her team displayed team work that could only be achieved through years of working with one another. Or, achieved by knowing one another quite well, which these three individuals had to their advantage. They covered one another disadvantages, for they desired to make it to the very end.
Their team work had been next to none, their only rival being a team from Kirigakure, who also displayed excellent teamwork. They fought against countless teams to make it to the last round, and despite the warnings Saika had received from her midwives about the risk of battling a month after giving birth, her body seemed to be holding up. She went on to battle a child that she was a decade older than, her teammates believing it would be an easy win for Saika. But Saika knew better, for the child must posses incredible skill if she was able to make it to the last round. And thus, she employed caution whilst battling the child.
And the battle had been long and hard. Despite Saika’s experience, the child had superior Shinobi training than she had. Thus, the two were pretty matched up when it came to power. But ultimately, the one with the better experience came on top. But it was not without some backlash. Despite her body seemingly handling itself pretty well, it was made obvious once the battle had been completed that she had pushed her body in order to compete. The usage of her Meltdowner had not been a good thing to add onto her already weaken body, for the backlash was a drain in her energy.
Saika’s teammates immediately collected her, bringing her to the closest medic so that she may have her injuries looked at and treated. It had taken a while for all injuries to be healed, having sustained numerous amounts due to her not following the advice of her midwives. But she was able to make it to the closing ceremony a few days later, at the peek of health thanks to the doctors. Once the closing ceremony was done, she and her teammates slipped away, meeting up with their clan outside of the village. Reunited with her clan and her child, Saika and her family departed from the lands. Leaving them one thing to remember, the debut of Meltdowner.
She was twenty-five, mother of a rumbustious four year old, leader of the Oshiro clan, and a bounty hunter. Saika really did not need more duties thrusted upon her for she had more than enough to worry about. Yet, since she seemed to be juggling her life so well, the organization she was affiliated with had decided to induct her into their ranks. Despite the fact she had been associated with Akatsuki her entire life, she had never really imagined becoming an official member of the organization, more than happy to remain the bark of the organization like other members of her clan. But her skills had grown exponentially over the years, especially when it came to handling her KKG.
She was a strong woman, who despite the fact she could walk the path of light at the drop of a hat, decided that her place was best within the shadows. And when you have a woman as skilled as Saika, you usually do not waste the potential that woman holds. Thus, she was inducted into the ranks, and upon that happening, herself and her clan suddenly went off the radar. The Shinobi world would believe them to have either settled down in a secluded area or have vanished completely off the face of the earth. The first theory would be correct, she did settle her clan down within a country that valued their privacy, not believing it best for her to travel with her people whilst she bore the cloak that people feared would turn up once again.
Having hidden her clan, she began to do the task expected of her, whilst also doing some personal missions of her own. Saika had witness the so called peace that reigned the lands as a sham. For as the countries boasted about peace, there were Anbu members going about fighting Shinobi from different countries, collecting information on other villages, etc. To Saika, such a thing was not peace, and brought shame to the word that so many valued. She saw all of this as countries preparing themselves for war, with the excuse that it’s only to make sure another country was not violating the terms of the peace treaty. And thus, she decided that one day she would have the Shinobi world spiral into war, for apparently that was what most individuals wanted.
Thus, she began to become stronger, until the time arrived for her to usurp the position of leader, or gain it by other means. And such a time came two years later.
She was twenty-seven when she gained the title of leader of Akatsuki, herself and her family playing a much bigger role in the growth of the organization than they had in recent years. The leader had died, by no faults of her. The members went into a frenzy, truing to figure out who was best to lead the organization since their leader had died. Most believed themselves to be the perfect leader that the Akatsuki needed, and thus fights would erupt amongst the members. Saika had found such things humorous to say the least, describing them as ants that do not notice who become panicked when their queen as died. She personally did not take part in any of the fighting, and if she had, than she would believe it to be one sided.
Such fighting to determine a leader went on for about a week, until she believed that the fighting would continue to escalate. Two members had already been killed, and thus she had no desire to risk anymore members lives nor the lives of her family. Thus, she took charge of the situation. Saika announced to the squabbling adults that she would be taking the reins. She challenged those that believe they could usurp the role from her to do so, and of course they did. Blinded by their anger, they had forgotten that she was quite a dangerous woman to deal with. And as a reminder of her capabilities, she killed the first man that rushed at her with a simple Jutsu that put a hole in his torso. She than questioned to see who else wished to dance with death. Luckily, they had the common sense to decline.
Thus with their battle having finished and she having become the figure head of the organization, things returned to normal. Or at least the members were not trying to murder one another anymore. Their goals on the other hand had changed. It went from preforming simple bounty quest to suddenly working to put the Shinobi world in peril. A plan that would take years to prepare for, as she desired to have the best amongst her ranks. And she also desired all information possible. The group, like her clan, went dark, though it was not like Akatsuki had been known to begin with. And thus, the organization going dark, went unnoticed by the Shinobi world.
The Akatsuki suddenly turned up again during the festival of peace, a member killing having murdered a member of Suna and Kiri in order to incite a war between the two villages against Konoha, the made to be culprit. Such a thing had not been part of the plans, having been done sloppily for the one sent to do the deed had stupidly allowed himself to be seen as well as making the evidence of Konoha being the culprit weak - putting their insignia on their back, really?! Thus when the member returned, Saika dispatched of him. She than called her twin brother and twelve-year-old daughter to her side, deciding that she would resurface. She set out from the lands that she had settled the clan in, and is currently heading towards Kiri, to meet an old friend whilst recruiting along the way.
