Chakra conductive material cost extra.

chakra absorption material costs extra, chakra conductive material doesn't according to the shop.

besides its already approved was upgrading it from rank C to rank B by changing the 50% to 25%. sense the katana reward for master weaponry was changed from C to B.

the first one is only useful about 20% of the time[as weapon masters don't spend chakra often] and the 2nd has very little to no battle applications and is really a flavor[weapon maintaince rp] thing considering channeling chakra into a blade makes the blade cut with chakra instead of it's edge.

i mean, name one instance where i would channel chakra into the blade and then suddenly stop channeling it when attacking. it's not like i'd ever run out of chakra. I could keep SST up for over 20 posts with only 5 chakra remaining in my pool.

heck, even my reversed edged sakabato is able to cut on it's dull side using SST with the same power and chakra cost.

I don't see how, or why that sort of thing would even be consitered an ability.
