It was about that time for Sanroku to check out his abilities while also seeing what the shinobi of Kumogakure are truly capable of. Sanroku went to the Thunder ground area in the hopes that he can find an ally to spar with. Sanroku was standing on the top of a small mountain awaiting to see if anyone came by. While crouched down Sanroku noticed from the distance a shinobi on his way to the training grounds. While the young shinobi looked up, he notced the cloudy skies turning dark, as in they are getting ready to produce the many thunderstorms that the region creates. Slowly but surely the battleground began to darken. The young shinobi still awaited the nearing ally. The other ninja was to far for Sanroku to notice who exactly it was so he stood his posed until he got a little closer. It was not till the ninja got about 25m away that Sanroku began to speak, "That blue hair. You are Nero from the Mysterious Stranger mission aren't you?" Now, waiting for a response, Sanroku will want to know if Nero is here to train in the hopes that he may also want to spar.

Shizuku normally took a walk around the village almost everyday. He found the Thunder grounds to be quite a nice place and decided to take his walk here today. While walking, he saw an familiar face, the face of Sanroku. A boy he allied with on a previous mission, the boy was especially interested in Shizuku's kekkei genkai.

Shizuku would approach closer to the boy, when he heard Sanroku as if he was who he was. Shizuku would stop in place about 10 meters away from Sanroku and nodded his head with a slight smile.
"Yes sir."

Shizuku's attire consisted of the same apparel as he wore on the previous mission with Sanroku. Black cloak that was zipped to his waist, revealed grey shinobi pants, and grey shinobi sandals.
While staring at Sanroku, he thought in his head that a spar would probably erupt since they were at the local training grounds. Hopefully it wouldn't be too troublesome.

Sanroku jumped down from his crouched down position and said, "You have a kekkei genkai that stirs interest. Although that bandit ran away before you got to show me how good it is in combat." Sanroku paused knowing that Nero should be suspecting already what is going to be asked of him. "We are in a training ground already and there are missions rewarding villagers for their hard work when training. How about we spar?" This blue haired shinobi is certainly an ally but Sanroku wasnt sure exactly how fair he played, so as soon as he mentioned the spar, Sanroku jumped back, knowing that his abilities looked quite problematic to handle in such a close proximity. The young shinobi wasnt far now, he only jumped 5 meters back as he starred at Nero while asking. "Have you thought about requesting to join the ANBU faction?" When done asking, he let Nero reply if he wanted to as Sanroku prepared for combat. He covered his mouth inside of the Chūnin Flak Jacket, after which he placed his Kurai Katana on the floor in order to measure exactly where he was in the beginning of the fight. Sanroku the grabbed the Jabbawockee Mask to finish it off and cover his face. The young man was now ready for battle.

Shizuku would smirk slightly when the boy mentioned in kekkei genkai and then a spar. Shizuku would stretch slightly and run his hands through his sapphire mane. The weather was fairly nice, not too hot, not too cold.

"I assume I have some time to kill." This being Shizuku's way of saying 'yes' to the battle.

After Sanroku jumped back, there was about 15 meters in length between them. Shizuku wouldn't really prep for much. He felt comfortable enough as it was. Considering most of Shizuku's technique was just his body. He noted that Sanroku might be skilled with weapons. He displayed earlier that he could deflect unexpected shuriken and now he is with a blade. While Sanroku put more clothes on, Shizuku thought the situation was ironic, considering Shizuku's clothes usually get destroyed using his kekkei genkai.
As Sanroku prepared himself for battle, Shizuku answered his question to the ANBU fraction. "I'm still trying to find myself." This could be taken in a multitude of ways, it was the first time Shizuku had revealed anything deeper than simple works with Sanroku though. By the time Shizuku was done speaking, Sanroku had placed his mask on and was ready for combat.

Shizuku thought about how to go about combat with Sanroku."This should be interesting." He thought to himself. He would wait for Sanroku's first move, keeping his eyes on him.

Sanroku starred at Nero through the blank looking mask. The battlefield got quite after the allied shinobi answered Sanrokus ANBU aspirational question. It appears like the secret service agency is not something that Nero is interested in. The young shinobi wanted to know what skills Nero was truly capable of. The last time they got together, Sanroku tested the bone that came out of Nero and the bone itself was somewhat harder than the kunai used to test the durability. This prompt the young shinobi to want to find out more about Neros invincibility against handheld weapons to the point that Sanroku wanted to know if the weapons had any effect on him. Sanroku still looked upon the glowing yellow eyes of the shinobi across from him, he was ready to react if he did so first, but for now Sanroku wanted just a quick secant to think. He knew that even though Nero has harder bones than the usual human body, chances were that he still had the skin and muscle fiber to match the average man. But Sanroku doesn’t know enough to finalize his judgment, and that is why he is leaving this to chance. To test out the theory, Sanroku first needed to make contact and hit Nero with a shuriken or kunai. It wasn’t until Sanroku felt that he had the perfect window of opportunity when he decided to use the Sword Hidden in the Hand Technique.

Sanroku is a shurikenjutsu specialist, and the very literal meaning of shurikenjutsu is sword hidden in the hand technique; thus this jutsu is the epitome of that fighting style. With this technique, Sanroku quickly drew a kunai with an explosive tag attached to the end quicker than the naked eye can see. Due to the small size of the handheld weapon, it was easily concealed from Nero to the point that even those with dojutsus that pay attention to detail would have trouble observing what went on. The young shinobi then took this time to throw the kunai with tremendous speed and accuracy, and standing at a 15 meter range just made the shot reach its destination in just mere secants while being that much more accurate for a shurikenjutsu specialist. Sanroku wanted to test out Neros ability and even the theory that his skin and muscle is indeed average tissue. The kunai will indeed prove that, but if Nero got the chance to dodge the handheld weapon, then for the very least the explosive tag will catch him, and burn him; and thus also prove if Nero truly is Mr. Indestructible.

Shizuku's eyes widened when he saw the projectile being tossed. "So fast." He though to himself. He never saw Sanroku even grab for the weapon, he was definitely skilled in weaponory. Something Shizuku didn't fear as much as some other styles of techniques, although it was still troublesome.
Sure, Shizuku's bones can regrow and it's near impossible to destroy his body completely, but he can still be slashed and burned. He realized that Sanroku was a tad bit more serious about this spar than Shizuku was at the moment.

Shizuku would do a cartwheel to his right to avoid the kunai, while doing so four bullets fire from Shizuku's right hand towards Sanroku. The most handy thing about Shizuku's kekkei genkai is that he can almost do it instantly. The technique he used allowed him to fire up too 10 bullets at any time, he just used four of the ten. The white finger tips dashed towards Sanroku in a horizontal straight line, meaning that if he jumped to his right or left he would probably still be victim to the attack. It was a second after the fingers had been fired out that Shizuku was flung further to his right by the explosion of the near by kunai that he didn't realize was attached to the weapon.

His body was flung a couple feet to the right, although he still landed on his feet after the blast. He would bite the inside of his mouth, mad that he didn't realize the explosive tag. He would then look at his left side, which was facing the explosion. He had some small charred marks on his arms and leg. But, he could still function with little discomfort. He would then quickly lock his eyes back on Sanroku, who at this point was probably doing something about the bullets Shizuku launched at him.
Shizuku still had a few more bullets ready to be fired from his hands, he was just waiting for an opening to use them.

"This kid is above average. ." Shizuku thought to himself. He wondered what the next move would be.

The kunai shot was dodged as he seen Nero cartwheel to the side but at the same time maneuver a way to shoot a few shots out of his fingers. This was a technique that Sanroku has seen before, so he knew the dangers behind getting hit by those projectiles. Sanroku seen four fingertip bullets coming at him at a tremendous speed, it was too fast in fact to dodge by normal means so Sanroku had to use his Body Replacement Technique. Sanroku witnessed as the log left behind when used the body replacement nearly exploded because of the four shots. By the look of the force these bullets represented, it appears to Sanroku that the bullets have enough power to penetrate human bones, so if he were to get hit by these shots then it would be a lethal injury. Sanroku didn’t appear too far from the attack so at the same time the young shinobi jumped back four times over in order to gain a greater distance from the attacker. The young shinobi was now 20 meters away from Nero. Sanroku then escaped into his memory bank and began his masterful deduction process.

Nero must in fact be a taijutsu specialist. This may be a crazy guess of course, but from what I have seen so far, Nero is able to produce bones that come out of his skin. I doent know exactly if these are his bones being produced or if the bones are just grown on the spot, so I have to somehow figure out the exact mechanism of the bloodline and last time I checked, Nero didn’t appear to miss any bones after shooting them out. Nevertheless, he must have a harder than normal skeletal structure since his bones are so durable they must be constructed sturdily thus I doent doubt that the clan that he comes from utilized that ability to their advantage to become close quarter hand to hand taijutsu specialist. Another logical observation would be the attack Nero just used. I doent know the exact workings of this technique either except for the fact that no hand seals are needed and it is a long range attack that he has already used twice as the first combat move. This must make it either a “go to technique” or even the “go to long range technique.” Either or, it is a dangerous jutsu and I should not be trying to test out in terms of the effects it will have on my body if I was to get shot.

This deductive process took just secants and even less since the process travels at the speed of thought. Sanroku then finalized his analysis by coming up with a nice strategy that will determine if that fingertip jutsu is indeed the “go to long range” technique. Sanroku then proceeded with his plot. The young shinobi drew 8 kunai again very quick, quick enough to be undetectable to those without special detail focusing dojutsu or hawk eye skills, each in the gaps of his fingers. This was of course going to be Sanrokus first jutsu learned, the Shurikenjutsu. Sanroku threw the kunai as fast as he drew them out, and as soon as they got 5 meters close to the target, Sanroku will draw out 2 more kunai. These kunai will be used to hit and misdirect 2 out of the 8 kunai targeting the shinobi. The misdirection will cause a split in direction for 4 of the 10 kunai thrown, so there will be 6 kunai targeting head on while 2 on his right and 2 on his left. The four kunai shot on the sides of Nero will be altered to shoot downward also in order to hit the target in his legs if he runs to the side or in his arms if he cartwheels again. This was all of course just an extremely elaborate setup to trap the enemy without him suspecting a thing.

Shizuku saw the boy gain distance. Shizuku would think to himself, "How Troublesome." Long distance was quite a problem for him. Although it did come with one pro, the further the distance, the more time Shizuku has to react to attack. Shizuku also noted that Sanroku had a very intense look on his face, "He's trying to figure me out. ." Shizuku thought to himself.

Shizuku then noted that shuriken would be launched at him. "He's definitely a long distance type." He would say under his breath. Shizuku readied himself for the head on projectiles, he knew how to handle those, until he saw something unusual. Sanroku launched more projectiles to throw the others off course and cause four of them to change paths to his sides. Making one attack turn into an all around attack. "Clever. ." Shizuku thought, although his face remained slightly calm. He didn't want to panic.

Shizuku would act quickly, he would jump to his right using his cartwheel again. Right before doing so, he launched his remaining six finger bullets at the six head on projectiles. Those projectiles were easy to deal with. When the bones made contact with the six head on projectiles, a cling sound could be heard as they stopped in their path and smacked the ground. If one was to get close to the weapons, they would see that the kunai had indents where the bones made contact.

Because of his cartwheel to the right, Shizuku was capable of dodging the two kunai that were altered to come to the left. Although, he couldn't avoid the ones coming from the right. So, instead Shizuku decided to reveal what possibly gave him the name "Mr. Indestructible." Even though he didn't really like the name that the elders gave him, since it was some what of a joke.

While doing the cartwheel, Shizuku would grow a thick membrane of his bone just underneath his skin on his arms. The kunai that targeted Shizuku's arms pierced Shizuku's arms in mid cartwheel, both on his right arm. But, something unusual happened. The same 'cling' sound from earlier came from the contact of the metal weapons jabbing into his body. That's not the sound weapons make when hitting flesh, it sounded more like a sword just struct a metal suite of armor.

Shizuku would land the cartwheel, with a slight look of pain on his face. He would then lift his right arm up, that had the kunai stuck in his forearms. He would then make eye contact with Sanroku while pulling the kunai's out with his left hand.
"That was good. If I didn't grow a membrane of my bone under my skin for the impact, it could have really stopped my movements." After this sentence, he already had one kunai pulled and let it hit the ground. He would then be holding the other kunai in his left hand, with his crimson blood dripping off the blade of the kunai onto the ground. Although Shizuku's membrane layer absorbed the impact, the blades still slashed through flesh and caused blood to run down his right arm.

Shizuku didn't want to say it to Sanroku, but he was in pain from the attack. It could have just damaged his muscles and ultimately movement more if he didn't use the membrane layer.
They were still 20 meters away from one another. He wondered what Sanroku would think of him. The last time he displayed the ability was when sparring in front of a council and a few of the elders called him a monster. Shizuku's ability was quite feared among shinobi, he was often times refereed to as a monster by others. Except by those who cherished his skills, like the elders who took him in and have trained him since he was young.

Still holding the bloody kunai in his left hand, Shizuku would drop the bloody blade on the ground beside his feet and use his right hand to reach for the zipper of his black hooded cloak. He would then begin to unzip the coat upward because of the fact that the zipper worked in a upside down manner. When reaching the top, the cloak slid off his body and landed on the ground behind him.
This revealed that Shizuku was not wearing any clothing under his cloak, revealing his bare torso and wearing only the grey shinobi styled pants and black combat boots now. His long blue mane swayed slightly with a coming breeze.

Sanroku could most likely piece together that Shizuku did this to take the battle more seriously and to stop his cloak from getting the way of his ability that would just rip through his clothing. Shizuku would then make eye contact with Sanroku again. "I'll be able to move more freely now." Shizuku claimed in a some what friendly voice to Sanroku.

After throwing the 10 Kunai that Sanroku had in hand he noticed now that he has a great deal of projectiles lying around the battlefield and most notably behind and to the right of the allied shinobi. A few kunai made contact with the target and like Sanroku expected, the bones on the opponent hardened to the point of even making a sound similar to that of swords clashing when the handheld weapons made contact. Sanroku began to run to his right and around the opponent in order to get into a specific angle with Nero, and an angle that would force Nero into turning his back directly behind the kunai that was thrown earlier on the floor if he planned on keeping an eye on Sanroku without moving from that spot. Nevertheless Sanroku will jump and quickly use his shurikenjutsu technique one more time when he got to his destination on the point of that angle or if he seen Nero make the slightest of movements. But this time grabbing shuriken because he didn’t have enough kunai in his pouch to do what he wanted, he already through 11 counting the one that had the Explosive Tag attached. These shuriken though were embedded with chakra, this wasn’t to give it an extra lethal ability, but instead it was so that each shuriken can engulf 10 kunai on the floor with chakra but at the same time, have the shuriken itself still be embodied by chakra as well. The way Sanroku was going to do this was by aiming the shuriken so that they can appear to be targeting Nero, when in reality they will be hitting the projectile weapons thrown in the last post. Sanroku will then land, realizing now that he was still about 10 meters away from his opponent, he was keeping an eye out for any sudden attack so that he can retaliate properly.

Shizuku's blood smacked the ground beneath him, dripping. Just a flesh wound though, nothing to bad. Shizuku would notice Sanroku beginning to run to his right. This stopped Shizuku from removing his cloak, and simply just had enough time to remove the blades from his arm.
"What is he up too?" Shizuku thought to himself. His eyes would follow the boy, as he moved to his right. Coming more and more out of Shizuku's field of vision. Shizuku questioned his own movements before doing anything.
"If I move. . He might launch an attack. . ." So far Shizuku's body hasn't moved to match Sanroku's movements. He has lost his eye on the enemy. He was still facing forward, for just a moment.

As he stared facing forward, more of Shizuku's bones from his finger tips would lay under this top layer of his skin. All ten fingers ready to fire once again. Although, Sanroku wouldn't be able to notice this really, because it was under the skin. "I've use this technique too much, he is going to finger it out sooner or later. ." He thought to himself.

Shizuku then took in a deep breath and side stepped to his right, facing Sanroku. While doing so, Shizuku would then move his arms and release 8 of the 10 bullets towards Sanroku. His movement to the right and the releasing of his fingers being quite fast. As the bullets cut through the air, he wondered what Sanroku's reaction would be. Each of the bullets were on a horizontal line towards Sanroku, ready to pierce him in multiple spots in his stomach and arms. Shizuku would keep his yellow eyes on Sanroku like a hawk.
If Sanroku release the other projectiles like he planned, they would most likely collide with the bullets, not Sanroku. Unless Sanroku wasn't what he was aiming for, but then that would mean Sanroku be injured by the bullets as well.

As soon as Sanroku seen that Nero twitched his limbs in order to make a move he reacted with the same plan he had all along. The young shinobi jumped in order to perform his signature move, the Shurikenjutsu technique. Sanroku was in the air in a flipped position and while it felt like forever to him, it was just a mere secant in real combat time. The bullets shot at Sanroku came far too fast for any ordinary means to dodging them, although because of the distance between the shinobi and the fact that the bullets travel in a straight line, Sanroku was able to dodge a great deal of them except for two bullets that happen to be the highest ones that skinned the young shinobis face in order to draw blood. While blood spilled from Sanrokus face he drew out 4 shuriken in each hand quicker than any ordinary person without a dojutsu or "hawk eye" type of view can perceive it, while soon after throwing them with overwhelming speed and accuracy, only to have 2 more shuriken being pulled out, one in each hand in order to redirect two of the projectiles in order for them to look like they are about to hit Nero, in the face but in truth they will both pass by his right and his left side in order to leave him untouched. All the meanwhile, all of the shuriken will appear to be targeting Nero, but each will be in reality heading toward their real target. Sanroku then landed and noticed now that he was 15 meters away from Nero.

Shizuku noticed that two of his bullets landed, it wasn't anything fatal though. Just a cut to the face on both sides. Shizuku noted this in his head, he noted that Sanroku is a genius with projectiles but values his current plan more than dodging attacks that were landed at him.
Shizuku then noticed that show of pure talent that was going on around him, Sanroku appeared to be skillfully redirecting projectiles with no hesitation. He was quite the skilled man. Shizuku then realized that two of the projectiles appeared to be coming right for his face, Shizuku leaned his face back slightly, only to realized that they passed right pass his face. "He did that on purpose." He thought to himself.

Shizuku then realized that even though the other projectiles seemed like they were aimed for him, they all continued to alter paths to different targets. To what though? He must have had something planned.

Shizuku looked forward and saw Sanroku land on the ground, Shizuku quickly the last two bullets he had stored in his finger tips towards Sanroku. Except this time with a bit more aim. One bullet was to target Sanroku's left leg, while the other was targeting his cheek once more. Shizuku was testing him actually. He was curious to if where Sanroku was at meant anything to the plan he had. The bullets were set to target two different parts of his body, meaning that he would have to move somewhat to avoid the attacks. Due to the two locations being targeted were so far apart from another as well, it would be difficult to block both attacks.
Another question was how would he react to this? The other attacks Shizuku has been using were just a wide array of attacks, just basic horizontal lines. How would Sanroku react to two aimed attacks.
Shizuku was curious to what Sanroku had planned and what he would do.

The young Sanroku noticed that as soon as he landed two bullets were shot directly targeting important areas of the body. One bullet is aiming at his head while the other is aiming toward his feet. Sanroku has trained himself rigorously in order to dodge projectiles and even redirect them by means sometimes unheard of by some shinobi, but the truth is these bullets were far too fast and in order to redirect them by certain means that Sanroku has perfected, would mean that Sanroku would have to make some sacrifices; which he was not willing to make. While the bullets neared Sanroku, he wanted to show why he was chosen as an ANBU trainee and why he can be called Mr. Untouchable to counter his Mr. Indestructible. Sanroku seen the bullets directly targeting him and while he didnt move he did utter this simple word. "Kawarimi" After which as soon as the bullets aiming toward Sanrokus head made contact with the skin but before it penetrated, the young Chunin moved at speeds that will rival even the fastest of shinobi. Nero is the first to see this technique thus he is the first to ever have to fight against it, but Sanroku has a certain air of trust toward Nero where he feels that he doesnt mind letting him see what he has been working on for these few months.

The Body Replacement Technique and the Body Flicker Technique are both the parent jutsu to the Kawarimi. The variant Kawarimi is an ancient ninja art revolving around both misdirection and the split-second timing of a switch between a 'body' and a location. This technique is utilized by Sanroku and it involves the young shinobi moving at high speeds to move short to long distances at an almost untraceable speed. Kawarimi means "a quick shift in position, or adaptability to changing circumstances." Thus the quick repositioning to the circumstance that the bullets brought forth. With this technique Sanroku will appear to vanish the moment an attack lands. This creates an optical illusion as the enemy will see the attack phase through the user. After using this technique, Sanroku can use the lapse in the enemy's attention his very own advantage by fleeing from the battlefield or gaining distance in combat; which Sanroku did the latter. To an observer, it will appear as if the user simply vanished, this is accomplished by using chakra to temporarily vitalise the body and move at extreme speeds. This is a Ninjutsu experts prized possession and because of the chakra wasted in the jutsu it is considered an A-rank jutsu.

Kawarimi:

Sanroku will appear behind a large tree, signaling that he used his Shadowing Stealth Ninja Technique quickly afterwards in order to hide from his opponent. Sanroku disappeared from sight but this wasn't part of his strategy, nor was he trying to hide from his opponent for any fear in combat. But the truth is, he didnt want Nero to see the true weakness of the jutsu used. Because as soon as Sanroku had time to persist, he moved up his mask and began to cough out blood while getting on his knees while doing so. The truth being that this technique is considered to him and to many as a Kinjutsu, since it can only be used a couple times in battle and if used a few times in succession then death is certainly going to be the drawback. Maybe it is because Sanroku hasnt perfected the Jutsu, or probably because unlike the D-rank Body Flicker and the E-rank Body Replacement, the Kawarimi is an A-rank jutsu that forces the body to move at an extreme speed, that if it wasnt for the chakra temporarily vitalizing the body, the body could certainly not be able to handle the movement. So when used many times, the chakra control vitalizing the body wont be as precise thus this technique is dangerous and it is only for Sanroku to use in extreme scenarios. This was just so that Nero can see it, and so he can himself test the new technique out. Sanroku even afterward simply put his mask back on by sliding it down his face and walked out once he already had his mouth cleaned from the blood he coughed out. The young shinobi readied himself as he removed his mask to say, "What do you think about the new technique?" Sanroku now noticed that he was back now, 25 meters. He asked this simply because this was his go-to move whenever in a bind. Since he plans to be ANBU soon, he plans to be in a few troublesome moments.

Shizuku smirked slightly as the bullets grew closer. Shizuku thought he made a hit, Sanroku seemed to not be reacting to the projectiles that Shizuku launched. This didn't make sense to Shizuku though, he knew that Sanroku was skilled in projectiles. Against any other enemy, Shizuku's finger drilling technique would be more than enough to catch one off guard. But, against Sanroku he was trained to handle such long range attacks, not to mention he has seen this technique multiple times in repetition. So, there was something wrong. The attacks couldn't have been ignored so easily by Sanroku.

Shizuku's muscles tightened slightly, he was ready to react if Sanroku deflected the attack. He continued to watch Sanroku intently. The finger grew closer and closer, until finally the slightest bit of contact was made. When this happened, Sanroku just vanished. Dispersed from vision. "How?" Shizuku asked himself. The bullets landed on the ground at the spot where Sanroku was at. It appeared that he somehow vanish from the area. It wasn't the body replacement technique, there was nothing left in her place. It was some type of other technique.

Shizuku peered around for a moment, his eyes going back and forth. Looking for the target, Sanroku.
After a moment passed, he saw Sanroku reveal himself from behind a tree. Asking a simple question.
"The new technique. ." Shizuku thought to himself. Shizuku was curious to how the technique worked. Perhaps Sanroku moved at an extreme speed or maybe even telported? Anything is possible with chakra. Shizuku would nod his head slightly and reply to Sanroku.
"It's unique." He claimed in a calm voice. Shizuku was the type to keep his calm.

Shizuku has yet to really exhaust himself in this battle, it has been a game of wit most of the match. Shizuku has only continued to use his finger technique, over and over to try and match Sanroku's long range preference. There is a chance that Sanroku has grown tired and worn down a little from the way this match has gone so far. Because of this, Shizuku decided it was time to make a more bold move. First Shizuku, would ready ten more finger bone bullets at the tips of his fingers. Keeping his eyes on Sanroku.

Shizuku would then began to charge at Sanroku at a adept speed. Closing the 25 meter gap in between him and Sanroku. His long blue mane flowing behind him as he charged at Sanroku. The way Shizuku moved though, he was ready to jump out of the for an attack or move to coordinate with any new situation. After reaching about 18 meter gap in between him and Sanroku, Shizuku would fire four of the bullets from his hand at Sanroku, just keep him busy while Shizuku charged. If he was left just waiting for Shizuku to reach him, he would be able to react better. So, Shizuku figured the bullets would give him something to occupy himself with. Shizuku was curious to how Sanroku would react if Shizuku got within close range and how he would multitask with Shizuku getting closer to him and firing bullets at the same time. He assumed that Sanroku would most likely try to evade close combat between the two, which is why Shizuku did not fire all of the finger bullets at one time encase they were needed to deflect a oncoming attack or to attempt to stop Sanroku from gaining more distance.

Sanroku smiled when he seen Nero charging at him. It is a perfect time to do it. Sanroku thought, so as soon as the 18 meters was landed on and Nero was seen shooting out his finger bullets once again, the young Chunin shinobi activated the trap that he has been setting for the entire match. The Shurikenjutsu Trap is a technique that needs to be preset, thus Sanroku was purposely missing his target in those occasions for this techniques setup. Sanroku needed just to give the order by will in order to activate the trap, so no signal was giving to alert the target about the incoming attack. There are exactly 20 handheld weapons flying directly behind Nero with serious intent to hit their mark. It was the 10 kunai that Sanroku through with the first Shurikenjutsu technique, and the other 10 handheld weapons came from the 10 shuriken thrown in the second round using the Shurikenjutsu technique. The chakra was infused into the shuriken, in order to spread it into the kunai, and all together be used by manipulating the chakra at will. This is a technique that Sanroku built in order to assassinate opponents without having to do much work or even get close, but the young shinobi suspects that Nero has strong enough bones to survive the strike if it lands. Due to the number of handheld weapons being used, the chakra is amounted to equal a B-rank attack.

The shots fired by Nero were easily dodged as he was suspecting, and to his desire Sanroku will duck and roll forward in order to dodge the bullets. Getting closer to Nero for hand to hand combat and landing just 15m away from the running Nero. The handheld weapons will still be riding their course as the exact workings of the technique is described as such, in order to use this technique, the user gathers shuriken, kunai, or senbon and sets them up in the surrounding environment covered in chakra. This chakra is used in order for the user to then direct them to a specific target at high speed and extreme precision. While the weapons may surround a target from all sides, they can also shoot out from one distinct direction. This technique is a variant of the Manipulative Shuriken Blade technique, thus a number of handheld weapons can be shot dependent on the amount of chakra the user is willing to spend. This is certainly going to be an interesting spectacle to see Nero dodge this. If he does, Sanroku will simply wait for the young shinobi until he gets 5 meters away, after which he will pull out a kunai and toss it at his feet in order to stop him at his tracks and give Sanroku time to react.

Shizuku glanced behind him, just for a second to see that the projectiles were following him around. He new Sanroku was setting up some type of trap. A very clever one at that. Shizuku still continued to run at a fast speed towards Sanroku who was now closer to him.
Shizuku knew that the projectiles were right on his tail though, Shizuku thought for a moment on how to deal with said projectiles. He then decided he would just endure the impact, but wouldn't let all of them hit him directly.

While running, Shizuku's bones ripped through his cloak all over his back, working as a bunch of horns all over his back. This would stop some of the projectiles from hitting his body and would instead connect with the growths on his back now. He did know that the projectiles would attempt to strike him once again thought. So he braced himself for that.

As Shizuku grew closer to Sanroku he would side step to the right a little and then lean in for a punch to Sanroku's face with his right hand. His eyes were connected with Sanroku's. As he dashed, he felt one of the projectiles jab into his skin and then another clank against his bone. He assumed more would follow, Shizuku definitely had the lower hand in this match. He was curious to how Sanroku would react to the punch as well.

Sanroku wasn’t prepared to lose this match, and because of this he prepared himself for a one on one close hand to hand combat with Nero. Sanroku through the kunai that he took out after Nero got 5 meters close to him so that he can throw it at his legs, and Nero jumped to the side in order to punch Sanroku directly in the face. Although Sanroku noticed that not all of the kunai and shuriken was able to be deflected by the bones, making way for a few more of them to have an opening to hit the young ally in fatal areas. Sanroku wasn’t going to let this happen, he wasn’t going to kill a shinobi from his village for no reason, just because he wanted to test his bloodline ability. So Sanroku created the snake, horse and then snake again hand seal in order for the chakra shield to be produced directly behind of Nero. The hand seals created were faster than Neros punch was able to land, seeing as three hand seals were easily created before the fist landed its mark. Because by defending Nero, Sanroku produced a clear opening for the fist to make a hit. The young shinobi did not care to take a punch seeing as he was able to use his new found technique to defend an ally, even if he was defending the ally against combatting himself. With this Chakra shield technique, the user is able to mold chakra into a thin barrier in front of them shaped like a square in order to be protected from incoming physical attacks and some techniques. The user will create the necessary hand seals, after which they will extend their arm while keeping the hands spread open so that he/she can aim his/her palms toward the targeted attack. The shield will be squared with its sides equaling 3 meters, through which the user’s chakra is seen radiating. The chakra will spread out like a thin film and turn into a protective sheet, the shield can even be used in order to block an attack aimed at an allied shinobi. Although, the allied shinobi must be at most 15 meters away or less. This is what Sanroku did, and it was for the better at that.

While getting swung back because of the force of the punch, Sanroku had a thought about his ANBU career. The young shinobi felt like he was in the air for a long time, although in real life it was merely just a secant. But in this secant, Sanroku was able to think for himself. I want to create a weapon. A weapon that goes by the name of the Kurai Tanto to match the Kurai Sword that I possess. The Kurai Tanto can easily be translated as being the Dark Tanto and it is quite obvious to suspect that the type of weapons this would be is a Blade, maybe even with the tip flattened in order for better defensive maneuvering. The appearance of the Kurai Tanto should be quite similar to that of my Kurai Sword. The Dark Tanto is a unique short sword that will be wielded by me as soon as I become ANBU. The Kurai Tanto is a short bladed sword that will have to come with a holster that is able to be attached to 2 areas in the body in order to make it better for strategic appliance. The thigh and back and the two preferred areas for this weapon to be held, in order to be drawn at a quicker and a lot slicker way. This is a short-bladed Tanto with is tip sharpened and cut flat with a darkened, non-reflective surface which I plan to carry out assassination missions with. The Tanto is an average short sword that is 2 feet in length with a desirable trait to be difficult to spot at night. This may seem like an unwavering epiphany since it had nothing to do with the situation at hand, yet Sanroku has been pondering for a long time now what weapon he will be creating when he becomes ANBU. Sanroku cant imagine himself not becoming ANBU, so he has been contemplating his arsenal of moves and weapons for as long as he can remember. When he was in the Genin rank, he remembered having ANBU aspirations that were already old dreams and goals, meaning that Sanroku was looking to become ANBU even before that. The young shinobi has no bloodline of special abilities like Nero, but he feels that because of his wit, he will make it far in the shinobi world. The origin of Sanrokus story will be unknown to many, because upon reaching the ANBU Black Ops, Sanroku will be asked to eliminate emotions and delete the past along with cutting close ties in order to remove the aspect of getting hurt in war.

Sanroku landed before he was even able to open his eyes from the punch. It felt like he was in the air for a long time in his Bank of mind, but in reality, it was mere secants. The young shinobi noticed how the chakra shield deflected the rest of the kunai going at the allied shinobi, so Sanroku was again safe to attack freely. While grabbing another kunai he began to charge at Nero preparing to use his Lions Paw technique. The Lions Paws Technique is a brilliant technique created by Sanroku that consists of the shurikenjutsu fighting style. Shurikenjutsu pertains to techniques that entail the throwing of shuriken, kunai, senbon or any other of a number of bladed, hand-held weapons; but with the amount of kenjutsu training a weaponry specialist contains, they are able to merge the two styles in order to create a handheld short-range fighting style. With this fighting style, the user is able to keep up with swordsmen using only a kunai. This fighting style is extremely versatile because the user does not use their running speed much since this is close-quarters but instead use only their dexterity, speed and accuracy when handling a weapon, thus with this fighting style, a weapon specialist can keep up with a taijutsu specialist of their own rank. When the user attacks with the weapon, the user attacks with slashes rather than stabbing motions, focusing mostly on the speed and accuracy, leaving deep and critical slices. Defense with this technique consists of mostly evasion and redirection of the enemies attacks focusing mostly on dexterity. If it so happens that the Sanroku loses his kunai, then he is able to keep up with the momentum of the jutsu for a short while without the weapon, after the short while though he would have to get another weapon or dispel the technique. A tanto/short sword can also be used with this fighting style which goes well with the epiphany that he just had. But Sanroku wasn’t here to think, he actually just wanted to get this fight over with. So he continued charging at Nero and quickly turned to using his Lions Paw Technique to his advantage by slicing and dicing his way toward making contact. Seeing as Nero has been wanting a close quarter fight, he most likely wasn’t expecting Sanroku to be so well versed in hand to hand combat. But because of his shurikenjutsu fighting style, and his bukijutsus innate inherent ability to have quick hand, then Sanroku is able to merge the two to create a challenging jutsus to defend against. Sanroku was attempting to draw blood, and that is why he was slicing in such a lethal manner. He wasn’t going to kill Nero, and that is for sure, but he knew that if this was going to be a serious spar, then Sanroku was going to have to get serious as well.

If it so happens that Nero is able to get the turnaround of momentum and begin to attack Sanroku, then he is prepared to dodge his bone strikes by slicing and carving his attacks, until finsinf out if he can break a bone using his kunai. Sanroku also used his Lions Paw Technique to throw the kunai at Neros feet in order to distract him from his movements, and attack with the same momentum that the technique is able to keep up with. The young shinobi threw the kunai at Neros feet to the point that he would have had to jump unless he wanted to get stabbed by a kunai, soon after though if he did jump, Sanroku would trip him in the air in order to have Nero land on his back. And while on this vulnerable state, Sanroku will run toward his weapons, turn his back to it and backflip back jumping a few times in order to gain a fair amount of distance between the two as well as get closer to all of his weapons. Once at the right area, Sanroku will grab all of the Kunai and shuriken thrown and again place them in his pouch to get ready for another day. By this time already Nero should be getting up, which provoked Sanokru into using his signature Manipulative Attack Blades. The young shinobi used the snake hand seal and had 15 weapons levitate beside him. Sanroku was already quite skilled in this technique already creating a number of variations, due to this, movement with the chakra control has become easy, and so he ordered the kunai to be shot at Nero with tremendous force. This jutsu is a shuriken technique that involves aiming a barrage of kunai at one precise spot although Sanroku can shoot out 15 handheld weapons at max. The user releases chakra from his hand over an area, which within he can maintain the kunai in suspension. As a result, the enemy may get blindsided and denied any escape route at the same time. With a simple hand movement, the user is able to fire all the kunai at once. The handheld weapons were not aiming to hit the target though, since this time they were aiming to scare Nero into submitting. Nero knew that Nero was too tough to submit to another shinobi, but maybe with these technique Nero will actually see the difference in power between the two allied shinobi. As skilled and as smart as Nero was, the fact is that Sanroku has a larger arsenal of moves and although he may have tired in the fight, the fight was one as soon as it was deducted that the finger bullet technique was the only technique in the shinobis arsenal, and if not the only technique it was certainly is best and most notably used one. Sanroku appeared next to the ally using the Body Flicker technique and quickly sai, I may have won this but I feel like when you get more jutsus the match will be the other way around. Seeing as your ultimate defense can defend against my hand held weapons brilliantly. Before leaving though Sanroku said, “But don’t get it mistake, I will also train. So your bones may not do as well against my kunai next time.” The young shinobi left after gathering his weapons, knowing that this was a hard days-worth of training.
