Bloodline Name: Ice Release
Bloodline Ability: Allows clan members to combine both water and wind styles to create ice objects. Creations can both be static (non moving objects) or dynamic (moving, "life-like" objects). They are also able to manifest a large amount of water from their bodies, utilizing pores in the skin along their limbs, or their mouth to dispense the liquid. This can be used for jutsu, or cooled into ice.

Description: The user is able to shape the water in the air around them into a set of ten swallow shaped objects made of ice, five for each arm. By moving their arms in a throwing motion, the user is able to propel five swallows from each arm to the target area. Once created, the swallows act as kunai or shuriken, but will flap their wings as they accelerate. Upon impact, the birds will tuck their wings in, leading head first, and more clearly resemble kunai, and will pierce and slash into the target.
One of the advantages of this jutsu is that the ice projectiles may take on curved paths, as the swallows can redirect themselves along a curved path. Swallows coming from one arm must take the same path, which allows for ice to be coming from two directions, or to attack two targets.
Weakness: A C-Rank or higher Katon jutsu can be used to melt the birds during their flight. B-Rank or higher Katon techniques will obliterate the birds completely mid-flight.

Description: The user once placing his hands on the ground can infuse his chakra underneath the target area. Soon after, ice will rise in a column around the target area, surging up to 15 meters into the sky. Anyone within the path of the column will become encased in the frigid ice. This techniques is often used for two purposes. The first, is to trap approaching enemies, freezing them in place, and providing allies an opportunity to counter attack. The second, is to shield opponents from physical attacks, as the encasing ice acts as an absorbing material. The column will stand for 1 post, or until destroyed by a technique.
Weakness: The column can be destroyed by a B-Rank or higher Katon jutsu, or two B-Rank or higher Taijutsu or Kenjutsu techniques.
Members often use custom techniques with Hyoton as well.
Clan History: The Terumi clan used to be a term for a variety of clans and was once housed within Kirigakure. During the many wars that plagued the shinobi nation, the clan served as a refugee family for shinobi and their relatives to be safe and protected. Eventually holding multiple powerful shinobi within its ranked, including knowledge of advanced bloodlines, the Terumi were on the rise, sending one of its most successful kunoichi to the title of Mizukage.
However, the clan lost support after the Fourth Shinobi World War, and its members became scattered, longing to reforge their own clans once again. Seeking retribution, the villages members came back to the clan. However, a small sample of the group had knowledge of Hyoton, or Ice Release, and decided Kirigakure, in any capacity, would not be safe enough to house them. This group, still calling themselves the Terumi clan to this day, set out for Sunagakure, hoping to be allowed entry.
Seeking asylum, the members were welcomed into the Village Hidden in the Sand, and the strongest of them were revered for their skills in both Futon, the most common element of the shinobi, as well as Suiton, the rarest and most needed element in the village. The clan has steadily been building back its strength after being recently accepted into the village, and its members are hoping to fill the upper ranks of Suna within the next generation. Forging relationships with the other shinobi, they hope one day to be on the same level as the founding clans of Sunagakure.
