She took a moment then smiled at him before beginning her tale. "My friend was a boy similar to you but much to shy for his own good. Then again coming from a family lineage so dangerous made him a threat to others. His family are of the Aburame but a much darker perspective." She took a moment to think placing her hand under her chin.

"As one know Aburame train bugs, specifically the chakra bugs for their ninjutsu. They're very well know to use other bugs too and tend to be quiet or secluded because that's just how they usually are raised." She then became serious folding her fingers and placing her hands beneath her nose as if to think but also bring in more serious matters to what she said. "However he was part of the clan of insectoids. They don't just raise bugs, they become like their bugs. Depending on the bug is what they become and however dangerous the bug is when small only multiplies."

Her voice lowered knowing this was the truth she spoke and needed to get it out. "His bug was the simple mosquito. They fly, they're quick, and more-so...they drink blood, more than twice their weight, they give off diseases that are to the likes of a plague, and worse no remorse to the living or the dead, only for their own survival." She paused a bit sighing out for a moment before placing her hands down to her knees.

"He was different, he wanted to return to the original Aburame ways of just treating the insects as alies, not self. However that didn't matter and it wasn't a choice. Ever soon enough he went on a mission along with his female teammate, they did return however while he walked, she was carried...in a casket." She took a minute on that. "He never said what happened but all I know and heard was that he went mad, he started eatting enemy shinobi and soon he even snuck snacks at alied shinobi too."

"He was stopped by his other teammate since teams consist of three. But the teammate regretted it, she regretted it, so much. Because she remembered his original dream, and how messed up it became after just one fatal flaw that ruined his childhood...his innocence to death. His plan to peace broken because he realized no one, not even someone so close to you, is immortal." She became silent and there was apparent pain in her face although she perked up a little before smiling once more as if the story never happened.

"So, I'm done! Your turn!" She said looking to the boy.

Kotaro listened to her story and he was very intrigued by this man, this Aburame. He had heard of the clan before, but not enough for it to mean anything to him, Kotaro couldn't even remember what ability they had until Kasai mentioned insects, but this new aspect seemed a bit odd. "An insectoid?" He murmured in his mind, but he remained silent and let the story play out until the end.

With the air tense, Kotaro felt as if there was a suction or black hole in the room and it was Kasai. Not in the negative manner, as if she was being a downer, but the setting she created with her story seemed made it hard for Kotaro not to listen or break focus. Despite the story being a sad tale, Kotaro felt it Kasai had a knack for the art of story telling, but he could also see she heavily valued innocence. Not in the since of being naive to the world, but in the sense of getting to be young while you're young and not have to worry about the pressures of the Shinobi world until ones time truly came. He nodded slowly to himself, but also to Kasai as she told him it was his turn for a story. So focused into hers, he hadn't prepared one or even thought of a base to build off of.

"I don't have as much life experience and haven't experienced nearly enough tings as you, so give me a moment to gather my thoughts please." His fingers were interlaced in front of him and his arms were propped up on his elbows, which were on his knees as he leaned forward in his seat a bit. Looking down at the floor as he dug into the depths of his mind, he wondered what kind of story to tell or fabricate. "Ok I got one, but don't judge my story telling skills ok . . . I know I suck heheh." He looked up and cleared his throat to begin. "So, the story I'm going to tell is about a man known as the Face Stealer, this is both literal and metaphorical in many ways. He was a high value Iwagakure Missing Ninja or at least they said, because all traces of his original identity weren't destroyed, but they would say, they were non existent. They say he was an Anbu member from Iwagakure, just from his skills and stealth skills alone, but after so many task of being an Anbu Ninja, he had lost or forgotten who he was." He took a sip from his near empty cup of water then continued.

"So to make up for this void, he would kill . . . kill anyone actually, friend or foe it didn't matter, because all he needed was exist or have an identity, may it be for a few hours, a day, possibly even a year. With a jutsu he possessed he was impossible to find and this is why no one knows when he actually came about, because his disguises were so great and indistinguishable, even down to the personality. Once he had even posed as the Tsuchikage for months on end without anyone notice until he moved on to imitate his next victim leaving the seat unfilled. He was the greatest Anbu Ninja there was and though they've said he was incarcerated and killed for his crimes, every month or so a person in the village turns up dead, but will have been spotted that same day traversing the streets ignorant to the news that they were supposedly pronounced deceased. Some write if off as a ghost, but the ninja's and those who don't run from reality know he . . . maybe even she is still out there. I believe his death was faked just to put to village at ease, but his death very well could have been 'real' in the aspect of them killing the wrong man, believing he was the Face Stealer in disguise." He brushed off his cloak a little and took the rag off his forehead.

"Either way, I know that he or she is still out there, maybe not in Iwagakure, but I know the Face Stealer isn't dead." After that his story would find closure as he would clear his throat, but then it would reopen with a P.S. "But . . . the odd part about the story is . . . those events have been occurring for over a span of one hundred and fifty years. Obviously pass the human life expectancy, so many write it off as a legend used to scare children and keep them inside at night, but some think it's because the original, whomever he was, passed on their legacy to another or others and they work to keep the fear in the hearts of Shinobi and work to constant remind us the corruption in the Anbu program." After that he stretched and gave a smile to Kasai. "Hope that didn't take too long, but that's all."

She took a moment to give him nods to the story occasionally and listened in however her story still bugged her mind knowing even though she told it off like some sort of sob, depressive creature it really happened. It wasn't some tale to scare children to bed or to tell by a light to freak out friends. It bothered her deeply however she acted out the ooo's and ahh's no different than how she'd sound regularly and smiled clapping her hands at the end of the tale. "Well geez remind me not to meet up with that guy!" She said with a light laugh.

However her father had overheard their stories smiling at the child's story but giving a small glance to Kasai before turning around to his work. Kasai then stood up and stretched until some of her bones popped releasing some of the tension off. "Welp, if you're feeling up to it we can head on to the tour around here and also get you to the destination you need to be. After all people don't travel through the dessert just to tour the place." She smiled and left out a hand to the boy to help him up if he were to take it.

His story was done and Kasai clapped, but he felt she was still feeling emotions from her story. The experience must have really bothered her, but who wouldn't it bother? Kotaro wished to comfort her, but he didn't know how to. Having seen his puppets as company from such a young age, he wasn't the most social Genin or person at that. Soon he was drawn out from facade of a smile as Kasai stood and offered to lead him to his destination. He was fairly tired after all, it was a long day. Standing he put on a more genuine smile and shook his head. "You've done enough already, I'll be good." Bowing to Kasai and then her father, he would gie the man the piece of metal he had in his hand, then wave to them both before heading out the door. Back into the scorching heat of he sands, but it was nothing worse than the desert he had crossed to get here and the drink of water he had was also helpful.

She waved him off smiling, he was a happy boy at the very least. However she still had that glare from her father. "I know...I said I'd be over it but...it happened not so long ago dad, and besides he was my best friend." She took a moment frowning. "They both were...so young so full of life and dreams...all for it to be crushed. I sure do hope that boy doesn't get crush from it either..."

Her father nodded going back to work. He still however awaited another answer from her. She paused then rolled her eyes cheering up a bit. "Dad it's not gonna get in the way of my missions, they can't hold me over for it and you know the family is good at control. I'm not gonna let it distract me so don't hold it over me like a baby without candy." He seemed to make a chuckling notion at her points. He really couldn't speak, not even a whine of a cry or the hearty soul of a laugh. Just silence as he tried to convey himself through everyday things. Seems everyone goes through troubles before finding a comfort zone.

Back out into the sandy streets, he began to look around for the highest peak he could find, but he was surrounded by pretty high buildings already. "Eh, go figure . . ." He mumbled as he shrugged and walked while swinging his arms about like he was but a wee lad. Kasai's story and her words had inspired him to live with a bit more purpose and to embrace the youth he had though it was fleeting by the second. A smile on his face as he traversed the sandy town, occasionally he would dust off his cloak and in due time he found himself in a secluded area. Not high up off the ground, at least not yet. But with a flat ground and space to perform and more importantly express, Kotaro took a seat and gazed at his palette. It was a type of sandstone, with grains of loose sand atop it, but what really mattered was that it was solid. Brushing it off with the excess sleeve of his cloak that reached past his finger tips, his canvas was temporarily clear of debris until the next breeze.

His eyes closed as he imagined the creature he wanted to bring with him on this voyage and upon opening a small circle of ebony would have formed on his index finger. Then placing a finger against the ground, he had began painting his portrait.
