Junpei's stay in the Mist village was brief, but what he had needed to accomplish he had. Along with his family and Hikaru, he was on his way back to the Land of Sound now not having any more ties in the village of the mist. As the rain pelted the Great Naruto Bridge, the souls of Junpei's party each were wearing cloaks as they had wooden crates strapped to their backs carrying supplies from their restaurant they had sold to make a quick deal of Ryo. Once in the Land of Sound the diner would be made there and under the same management, but in a place that was now under Junpei's watchful eye.

Like a Shepard adults herded the little ones back into the group and scolded them when they would get in the way of or play near other travelers. Junpei didn't pay much mind to them and was primarily keeping watch along with Hikaru as this was the final stretch for him and his family, before they left the bloody mist. Both shinobi steady on their guard, Junpei in the front of the caravan and Hikaru in the back, they took their first steps off of the bridge and it felt as if a weight slid off their shoulders. Some still remained but a considerable cinder block of stress was removed.
