It had taken awhile . . . but they made it. With the gates of the village in sight, Junpei's eyes shifted to Kamina. He wasn't concerned about Nira, since she was a Genin and probably hadn't committed any crimes or at least any serious ones to possibly make her wanted. But Kamina was previously part of the Akatsuki, so Junpei was a little skeptical about how this would play out. Though the same could apply to Junpei, it no longer did as a contact of his in the Hidden Mist had taken his name out of the Bingo Books and even took away his status as a Missing Ninja. It was only fitting though seeing how he actually was no longer a Missing Ninja.

His red eyes moving from Kamina to Nira, he wondered what was going on in her mind right now. He didn't think that she traveled much or any at all, so this must be a completely new experience for her. Looking back at their interactions at the gates in the Land of Sound, he was glad he took her along so she could experience traveling.

The kanji for sound emblazoned in black on his white haori, he only hoped the Raikage had alerted the gate guards of his journey so know surprises would be surfacing.

Nira paused as they seemed to arrive. Up ahead, the gates of the Hidden Cloud Village. It really was majestic, the entire place. A small smile crossed her lips and she shifted her attention to Junpei, a light smile on her face as her hood had been lowered on the way there, exposing that brilliant white hair as well as her pale skin. She felt a bit....odd though. Her seal, it had begun to burn a little. She wasn't sure why but being so far from home. IT almost felt...weaker. The air around here was different, and she could almost smell the chakra of the people here. This...was this what it was like to be in a real ninja village? It was almost overpowering. Turning her attention to Jun, she noticed him looking in her direction, but only smiled, not showing a shred of the discomfort she held inside. However for a brief moment she thought she saw something....odd. Her attention drifting from Junpei as she saw...something or someone off in the distance, a bright red cloak, and then it was gone. Strange... Unbeknownst to her, she was the only one who would have seen it.

The was somewhat clear and the sun was peeking around a few scattered clouds, but there was a dark mass of clouds on the horizon. It was no doubt going to rain sometime in near feature, maybe a couple of hours? He had always been a terrible weather forecaster. So with with not much sun left Kamina lowered his hood so it rested on the back of his shoulders. He ran his left hand through his short black hair before adjusting his glasses and let out a soft yawn. The trip had been somewhat long but he was used to long walks as it became part of the life of a missing ninja. In fact the last time he was in Kumo he was rudely attacked by a ninja before he even got to Kumo. He so kindly repaid the ninja by taking all of his stuff. As fun as reminiscing was Kamina was a little curious what Junpei was planning to do in Kumo.

"Soooooo, Mr. Sound Daimyo employer man... Would you care to explain to me what exactly we are doing in Kumogakure? If you dont mind me asking that is. Oh and there is something you might you want to know... I've decided to rebuild. And I was hoping you would allow me to remain in the Sound."

It may not have been the most appropriate time to ask, but one doesn't get anywhere in life without being a little pushy now and again. If Junpei allowed him to stay it would make the first of possibly many bases over the span of his organizations life and it would also make hiding sooooo much easier.

Junpei returned the smile to Nira as she seemed to be fairing well in foreign lands, but his smile was erased as Kamina spoke up. It seemed like plan for the gates wasn't on his mind, simply a plan for his future aspirations. Well that and he asked what Junpei was here for, but Junpei felt the man simply asked as to show 'interest' in Junpei's goals or just to be nosey, no real interest."I'm here for an artifact known as Nuibari, one of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist weapons." He made the reply short as he mulled over the request. Looking at Nira seeing if her face held any hints to the correct answer, he noticed her attention was elsewhere so he went back into his mind. He knew Kamina wasn't the most innocent soul and Junpei also didn't like the vagueness behind 'rebuild'. "You may remain in the Sound, but not in the immediate village and any 'utensils' you need will go through me first. If I suspect you are stealing my goods, I'll take action, fair enough?" Junpei knew not to trust the crooked scientist types, but he also knew they could be very beneficial in their own twisted way. So Junpei's goal with Kamina was to craft a symbiotic relationship, one where both sides could benefit as long as the other cooperated.

Arriving at the gates he gave a smile to the four gate guards who rose at the groups arrival. Digging in his yukata that was under his haori, Junpei withdrew a letter, that would match up with the one sent to the Raikage. "Welcome to Kumogakure Hozuki-san." The teen almost vomited at the diplomacy, but he stomached it and gave a simple smile as he bowed back to the guards. "However, I must inquire who the others in attendance are.?" It was true Junpei's letter only mentioned him coming, but he felt he could easily wiggle out of this one. "This is my bodyguard Nira and this is a hired arm in place of my other guard who couldn't be present due to illness." The guard's eyes skated over Nira, but locked onto Kamina suspiciously. "You may enter, but you will be watched." This comment seemed more so directed at Kamina than anyone, but Junpei knew he would have Anbu eyes on him the whole time he was in thh village. Matter of fact he was probably being watched ever since he entered the country.

Again his stomach churned repulsively and audibly maybe at how close that encounter was,, the bowing, or hunger. Regardless Junpei was glad they were now inside the village, all that was left was to find his blade and maybe meet with the Raikage.

Nira tilted her head slightly as the two men exchanged words, fleetingly she wondered if she was older than this Kamina as well. He did seem rather young after all..... Taking a moment to look toward the guards she simply nodded in compliance with the warning. The one speaking to June seemed more interested in Kamina than her. Though the other three each held at least a brief moment of pause either at her pale skin, luminous hair, or those pale white eyes. Noticing one of them staring a bit longer than the others she offered a friendly smile and lifted both left hands from her cloak to wave, immediately the guards blanched to stare at the woman. IT hadn't occured to Nira that those outside of her village would be far less familiar with her...more unique attributes. She at least haad the sense to keep the third set of upper limbs hidden in her cloak as those pincers no doubt would invoke either a hard look or some questions. Making her way over to Kamina she gave the man a brief look of incredulity, as if to sniff out some hidden agenda. Those fierce white eyes focusing on the man's before she turned away from him and waited for Junpei to head on past the gates. "Did you want to search for this artifact immediately or did you want some time to rest and settle for the evening? It's been a long trip, we could even see if there are any quick missions to do here. Gaining favor with the Cloud Village by helping them with some of their affairs might not be the worst of ideas." she stated with a surprisingly diplomatic tone.

It would seem his reputation as a missing ninja was still well known. A curious thing however, all that hate, spite, and scrutiny because of a label. It was unlikely any of them knew what crimes he had committed and they more than likely never will. So far the only crime he's committed was treason and abandonment. To the loyal shinobi it might be a heinous crime but when you come from a village whose leader shouldn't be leading. A village whose own shinobi question their every move. It was a sickening time, but the past is the past and Kamina will face any challenge the arrogant my throw at him. As they stood there everybody's gaze eventually fell on him, even the cold, white eyes of the girl Nira. She may have deliberately drawn attention away from him but when she decided to rest her gaze on him it was almost as if all the guards knew that not even they trusted him. As much as they may have wanted to though, none of them would take action until after the Daimyo left. After all attacking the Daimyo's bodyguard while unprovoked would have many political repercussions. He flashed a smile to Nira before she turned away from to ask Junpei a question.

"I don't know about you guys, but I could use a bit of rest after that journey. After all.. I doubt that sword is going anywhere anytime soon."

Kamina stood there taking sunlight a little longer waiting for Junpei to decide what the next course of action was. In either case Kamina was going to continue to do his job and be the bodyguard he was supposed to be for the time being. However as soon as they found that sword... it may be a whole other story.

"A couple of missions can't hurt. Good experience and it looks good on the record . . . remind me before we depart to accept a mission or two please." He gave Nira a smile and felt a bit weird talking to her in the manner he had. It was almost as if she were his secretary in a since, maybe it was because he was used to having Hikaru as his right hand on these trips and at the moment, he obviously wasn't present. "Eh, sorry if that sounded bossy, felt weird coming out, now that I think about it." He didn't mean bossy in the sense of telling her what to do, but more so in the sense of sounding like her actual boss. Though he was, he didn't really like the idea of it.

His ivory hair flickering in teh sunlight of the Lightning Country, he allowed the suggestions from his guards to sink in and both seemed to recommend resting, but Junpei didn't find the luxury of resting that simple. It was almost as if he could feel the blades presence he was so eager to obtain it. Him and the Seven Swords went far back to when he was still a Kirigakure ninja, still a Genin at that, ever since he had been obsessed with the blades and their lore and legacy. One thing his anxiety didn't allow him to miss was that Kamina had failed to answer his question about him inhabiting the Land of Sound. Junpei didn't run this back to the swords, but instead to the safety of his village, he would remain silent about it however and would wait for Kamina to bring it back up if he would later. "Hmm . . . you guys can go rest at an inn or you can I guess Kamina since you say you're tired." He looked up and shielded his eyes from the bright sun that seemed to burn with a new intensity upon his foreign skin. "I'm gonna go dig for information, up to you to tag along, I doubt  will come into any trouble within the village walls." He would stop in his tracks and turn to his too escorts. His words were first directed more so at the shady Anbu member, but in conclusion the option to rest was opened to both, Kamina and Nira.

His eyes shifting from one to the other, Junpei's gaze hadn't noticeably gained intensity, but when his eyes scrolled onto the male, his brain told him not to trust this one when it came to the safety of his ninja. "So, what's it gonna be?" He would stretch as he smiled at them both, a pure hearted looking smile only quickly shoveled out from the depths of his being, because all of his years as an Anbu Ninja trained him to fabricate genuine expressions effortlessly.

Nira considered this for a moment, slowly nodding her head in the process as she shifted her attention off to the side. The village did look rather daunting. Surely....she would be alright without Junpei....right? "I'll be sure to remind you. And you're not being bossy at all....besides, I'm pretty sure we both know who makes the decisions around here." she noted with a teasing smile before rubbing the back of her head. "To be honest I don't think I could sleep one bit. But if...he.... is tired. I'd be happy to use the opportunity to socialize. Inns have bars usually don't they? Between that and the rest of the village, I'll be able to get a feel for the place as well as keep an eye on him. I'm sure getting information would probably be a bit easier without me tagging along." she reasoned, those brief flashes of mandible would at this point be the very clear cause of her shift in voice. Not to mention probably a tad distracting and unsettling.
"Besides I......can't help but shake he feeling that there's someone here I should meet."

Kamina let out of a soft yawn before stretching his arms into the sky. Junpei wanted to go diggin for information which could turn out to be really boring or... actually thats probably all it would be so that wasn't all too appealing. The girl wasn't tired either but the word "Bar" definitely caught his attention. He could definitely go for a few drinks and a hot meal. As it turned out there was also somebody Kamina would like to see while in the village.

"You know... You aren't going to burst into flames or be struck by lightning if you say my name out loud. And as much as I would like to sleep now, I need food, at least 3 or 4 beers, and then I need to track somebody down as well... And no im not planning on doing anything illegal."

The last bit was directed at Junpei as a man like him no doubt has suspicions about everybody. Maybe he was comparing Junpei to much to himself for that matter as Kamina was certainly a man who had suspicions about anyone and any thing. With that last bit now out there and letting a small pause setting in he began to walk off towards the nearest bar. There was a certain person he wanted to talk to. A shinobi by the name of Dread, a rather odd name no doubt but more of an oddity were the rumors flying around. A girl who had something called flesh release? Being a man with a blood release he couldn't help but wonder if the two were similar in any way. It would certainly be an exciting visit and with a little bit of luck he may even be to strike a deal.

Junpei chuckled at Nira's teasing, but knew she was only joking. Hearing everyone's games plan it seemed they would all be heading out on different paths for the time being. He was glad to hear that Nira would be going out to socialize as he noted she seemed a bit more active and outgoing than usual. Maybe she was starting to notice she wasn't that unusual after all. Sure her appearance was odd, but there were a bunch of odd ninja out there and some of these peoples oddities were internal which was weirder in Junpei's opinion. With Kamina leaving and stating he'd be committing no crimes, Junpei wasn't sure if that was believable. Sure he didn't know the man, but when was in considered to be in the Akatsuki you tend to assume they're naturally criminals. The Daimyo would have no issue with disowning the man as his guard is he did cut up though, so his actions were on him.

With Kamina gone, it was only him and Nira which brought a smile to his face. "All I ask is that you stay safe alright? I'm going to be headed to a place called Barracuda's Den, so if you need me, I guess search that place out. I'll probably be gone throughout the night, so yeah don't sweat it if I don't return." Giving Nira a cheerful smile, he planted a hand on her head, before departing to go about his business.

Nira raised a brow at the odd man before shaking her head, watching the strange man before turning as junpei spoke up. At his words she smiled and nodded her head and relaxed as he patted her head, giving her an explanation as to where he'd be before taking his leave. Looking to Kamina she remained silent, watching him carefully before smirking and turning to make her way off as well. She may as well get to socializing.
