Boredom. That was the emotion that the member of Anbu felt, known by the masses as Lady Hakai, as she walked down the crowded streets of Kumogakure. There was nothing for the young lady to do this fine afternoon, being off-duty in the likes for she had only recently returned from a rather long operation within some other country she couldn’t care to remember at the moment. Information gathering she believed the mission had been, but it could had been an assassination or even something smaller, either way she was bored.

She had thought about going on a mission, but that had proven to be a decision she avoided for she would rather rest than take a mission so soon. Thus, she decided that shopping would do her some good. It really didn’t for there was nothing new in the shops this season, and that was quite disconcerting for the young lady. Thus she had bought nothing from the store owners, and decided that she would try to occupy herself with walking.

Hakai was beginning to feel like going on a mission would had been so much better than what she was doing now. At least she would be doing something. Yes, she could go and find her parents, hanging around the influential couple, but she hadn’t wanted to do it earlier and still didn’t feel like it. Her parents, at the moment, were busy with a social gathering and she didn’t feel the need to play silent doll throughout the event. So she was completely stuck, hoping, praying, that something or someone would entertain her. And soon.

The Kumogakure streets were all but, busy with the hum of the usual people. The sheep doing there herding movements in and around the street. It was a peaceful, until around the corner, came a small boy looking like he was running for his life. He pushed and shifts his way through the crowds of people, as soon around that same corner of a building came 3 similar in size boys, all of them yelling and appeared to be following the other boy in pursuit.

"Get back here Yuri! You're gonna pay for this!" One of the boys in the group behind Yuri shouted. But Yuri continued to run through the crowds and as he passed by the many people he continued to say "Excuse me! Pardon me! Woah, sorry!" as he clutched his right eye, covering up the black eye he had received just earlier. How he had gotten into this predicament was a interesting story itself.

This had all started with Yuri, harmlessly playing around with the other kids, from the same foster home as him. It was until that he accidentally elbowed one of the kids that was behind up, that is when one of the other kids took it the wrong way and gave Yuri a clean punch right to his right eye. Thus, in a panic, Yuri ran, leading to this chase.

It was at this moment, that Yuri looked over his shoulder as he was running right for Hakai. He was completely focused on the kids still in pursuit as bumped into Hakai, tripping and falling over. Yuri looked back up at Hakai, gazing into her blue eyes before saying "Um sorry!" just as he picked himself back up and continued to run.

“Huh?” Hakai said in faint confusion as she looked down at the kid who had ran, ungracefully, ran into her. How do you miss a woman who stands at five feet nine inches, she shall never know and she was about to lecture the poor child on watching where he was going, but he quickly uttered an apology and high tailed it out of there. That increased her confusion, though it also peaked her interest for the boy seemed to be running from something or- several children ran pass her, clearly following the boy that had bumped into her earlier. Her eyebrows raised in amusement, usually she would had written it off as children playing some sort of game, but those children that had ran by seemed to have some beef with the one that had ran into her. And since she was never the one to miss out on some sort of conflict, even if the conflict was between snot-nosed brats, she decided that she would follow.

With the grace of a woman of her class, she hoped onto the nearest roof, pursuing the band of hoodlums and their victim without the crowd getting in her way. She would observe the group from her vintage point, until of course something drastic happened, than she would either leave or jump in. And due to the crowd, she found herself leaning towards breaking up the scuffle if one were to occur. Until than, she was simply an observer. But one thing was for sure, Hakai was no longer bored.
