Name: Chikyū burēdo-jutsu/Earth Blade Jutsu

Used For: Offensive, but can be used for defense.

Range: Self
Duration: As long as the user has Chakra, the Jutsu will remain. It consumes Chakra while using for a long duration of time.
Hand Seals/Charge up: Ox and Tiger.
Description: A sharp, long blade of rock or Earth, possibly sand. It is formed from the elbow and ends around six inches ahead of the hand. It's just a blade. t is shaped and is sharp just as a kitchen knife without a handle.
Weakness: Being a D-Rank Jutsu, this blade, if hit with enough force, can easily be destroyed, which also brings the risk of the user damaging their arm. It is a thin blade, and is hollow where the arm goes, making it easy to pierce. It's underdeveloped.


Name: Kiyanon-jutsu o yusuru/Rock Canon Jutsu

Used For: Offensive
Element: Earth
Range: Long Range/6 meter radius
Duration: Lasts until contact with target.
Hand Seals/Charge up: Ram and Snake.
Description: A hollow Cylinder that is filled with rock, sand, or earth spheres. The user then uses physical strength to force them out at high speed, enough to cause major brusies. The sphere's will break upon contact, sending pieces everywhere, so close range is not advised.
Weakness: If the the target is close, the Canon becomes unusable due to the above.

Please specify the sharpness and hardness/durability of the blade please.

Yeah..... the range is going to be massively lower... like ten meters at best.
I'm guessing the cylinder and the projectile that its holding has to be formed from the ground first.

Also, why does the cannon becomes unusable if the target is within close range?

Edited, and yes, the Sphere's have to be formed first.

As Rock Cannon is a D-rank and that you're using your own strength to push the sphere out, I highly doubt it'd deal "serious damage" to an opponent, so I would like you to change that to something like bruises (but not broken bones).
