Looks Description: Shinji has slightly tanned skin, being battered by the intense rays of Suna's light. He has quite a muscular build because of his intensive training in Taijutsu. His eyes are a light emerald color, with a few acne marks here and there, but nothing too intense. His spiky hair is black, and soft to the touch, but is often obscured by his black and white hat that most people often mistake for his real hair.

His clothes are usually plain, as he isn't the type to wear extravagant clothing that brings attention to himself. For shirts, he prefers to wear something black or beige. Shinji often wears beige shorts, and his headband is located on his forehead, like most shinobi. For shoes, he wears a nice, comfortable pair of blue sandals. On his neck is a wooden necklace.

Personality Description:

Quiet- Shinji doesn't speak much, really. When he does, he only uses the bare minimum and talks in a soft voice. He just likes being in the background and not attracting much attention. Really, the only person he talks to often is his puppets.

Insane- The bullying from his parents and the students at the academy hasn't left his mind unscathed. He often has nightmares of the days at the academy, which are somehow warped and made even worse. Whenever he fails, he often sees visions of his tormentors insulting him that persist for many days.

Also, at random times he sees other things as his bullies, making him kill them on sight. Shinji has killed many animals because of this, such as rabbits, dogs, and cats.

Suicidal- Shinji has contemplated ending his life on numerous occasions. Disgusted with the world and his own self, the only reason Shinji hasn't killed himself is because he strives to be better then all the people who have put him down. He also wants to find love

Lovesick- Shinji is obsessed with the idea of love. The idea of another person besides his parents liking him seems foreign to him. He would love to experience the feeling himself, although he usually doesn't express this tto others.

Calm- Even though he keeps a serious face and isn't usually seen laughing and smiling all the time, Shinji can crack a laugh every once in a while. It's just he's calm, and is almost never angry because of the amount of patience he possesses.

Loyal- Despite all the bullying he has suffered, he doesn't take it out on the village. Instead, he'll just take it out on the individual at a better time. Shinji devotes himself to the safety and advancement of the village above all others. Himself, his family, his friends, everyone. It's probably the reason he hasn't killed himself.

History: Shinji was born to two Jounin level Hyuugas, Taishi Hyuuga and Nami Hyuuga. He was born into the main branch, so they trained him extensively even before he joined the academy at the age of six. His academy years were pretty horrible, to say the least and gave him the quiet, serious personality he has today. Back in the academy, Shinji was a pretty shy person, easy to take advantage of. Everyone bullied him and took advantage him, and somehow, the teachers never saw. The little Hyuuga wanted to end his life. He only thought they were bullying him because it was his fault. It certainly didn't help ease his mind when his parents were preaching that the weak deserved to be devoured by the strong.

However, with the help of his teachers he was able to alleviate this bullying problem a bit, although this weakened the bond with his parents. They thought of him as weak, undeserving of being a main member. The two barely payed attention to him besides giving him the very basics. This type of treatment scarred Shinji far more then his bullying did. Staying in that house was poisonous to him, breaking him down day by day. He even crafted his very first puppet, Sasuke, as a replacement parent. It was the only friend he had in the unfortunate story that was his life, and kept him going through the days.

Despite all the pain inflicted on him, Shinji had no desire to take down the whole village. Instead, he used the anger and disgust to fuel himself on the journey of becoming a stronger ninja then all of his haters. His grades in school drastically improved as he channelled the hatred into something far more constructive. Soon, he rose from the bottom and ended up at the top. At the age of thirteen, he graduated from the academy, passing his finals easily.

With the allowance he was given by the village to start off his career as a shinobi, Shinji rented a room in an apartment just to get away from his increasingly vile parents. Now, he just tries to do missions so he can get a promotion to Chuunin.
