Kamina was currently sitting in an abandoned shack on the ouskirts of Kiri waiting for an appropriate time to enter. Using this free time he couldn't help but reflect on some of his past training and how he ended up where he was today.
[A long time ago.... In a long too far away...]
The sound of running water echoed through the rich lush forest, birds chirped their morning songs and the suns raze pierced through the trees overtop, dappling the forest floor with an eerie golden light. The trees sung a song as the wind blew through their trunks, as id playing a natural melody. The multiple shades of green colored the forest in an almost magical spell. Leafs dancing in the wind and flowers bloomed all around. And deep within the forest was a young teen named Kamina, lazing about lazily in a patch of soft grass, napping most the afternoon away. The tall trees shaded him and the cool breeze kept the young cub nice and comfortable. His breath steady, his eyes reading through a scroll on lighting jutsu and the basics of it. He was wanting to learn how to use lighting Jutsu for a while now, so decided to do some reading before he got to the real thing...Reading through the passage Kamina began to wonder... "Lighting Release is one of the five basic elemental nature transformation techniques that allows the user to generate lightning by increasing the high frequency vibrations of their chakra, allowing for piercing damage and fast movement. The electricity also can carry a paralysis effect to the target so that they are unable to move and leave them vulnerable to a finishing strike." Smiling as he devised several different plans to unlock this so called release...
Kamina looked up into the sky and watched it closely for a while. Within about ten minutes, the sky was dark with the heaviness of clouds, the beauty and color of the land now seemed blank and grey. The lush green land below complete with open glass plains and valleys where Empty of life and happiness. A loud clash boomed in the sky and the wind wrestled the grass into submission. A storm was coming in from no where. The air was thick, threatening to suffocate any who lurked in the open lands without mercy. Kamina, who was still holding the scroll nodded his head ad stood up. Deciding this was a better time than any to train to use this technique.
Slowly walking over to the statues of the past Hokoga's Kamina stood on top of one of them and slowly began to focus his Chakra. Putting his hands together and taking several moments to gain more and more control over his chakra Kamina soon began to point at the sky and move around gracefully as if he where dancing. Closing his eyes and letting himself breath in and out the sky began to grow darker and rain began to pour down upon him. Suddenly there was a raging series of booms and violent bangs within the clouds as if to proclaim war on one another. Kamina continued his fluid like movements until he felt something begin to surge within him. Focusing his mind on the memories that had hurt him the most as a child. He remembered the severe suffering he had endured as a boy from his illness...the death of his mother. The murder of his father...his auntie...all things caused a boiling fire within him and just as the lighting above him clashed and boomed Kamina opened his eye as a lighting bolt shot down at him. Moving his fingers upward and allowing the bolt to connect to his hand Kamina focused all his chakra into it and allowed it all to flow within his body. Moving himself in a fluid matter he shot his other hand outward and watched as lighting shot out of his finger tips and into a nearby tree. Causing it to explode and catch fire.
It was entirely apparent that his current methods of expelling the lightning were a little unorthodox but he had the basics of creating the lightning element down. He was confident he could create lightning chakra at will but creating his own jutsu would also take time but for now he would rest and reflect on the basics a little more.
