Mei had been at home planning some training for her Genin since she had some time off. She hadn't had any missions lately and hadn't taken her Genin on any yet. At this moment there was a knock on the door, when Mei opened it there was a messanger standing there. 'You have a message from the Kazekage. He says to take your Genin to the Land of Tea.' After this, he explained the situation. Mei then told him, "Tell my Genin to meet me at yhe gate in 30 minutes." Then she hurried to gather all of her things and got ready to go.

Mei ran through the streets in her ANBU uniform. It was a bit of a struggled since there were so many people. She didn't have time for it so she jumped to the rooftops and started running on those instead. Soon enough she made it to the gate where she waited for her Genin to arrive.

Rubī was at home, eating lunch with her parents. They goofed around, as usual, before there was a knock at the door. " I'll get it. " Rubī said, standing from her chair, still chewing a bite from her sandwich. She opened the wooden door and was confronted with a man in a mask and cloak. He was one of the Kazekage's messengers. He began to explain to Rubī about their needed presence in The Land of Tea. Rubī hadn't gone on any missions since her squad's first meeting, so this would be exciting for her. " Alright, I'll meet her there! " She said, smiling and shooting the door as the messenger suddenly disappeared.

After a short session of fist pumps and awkward dancing, she informed her parents and began to pack a small bag. She packed the essentials; kunai, shuriken, ninja wire, water, soap, toothbrush and toothpaste, and a change of clothes. After she finished, she kissed her mother goodbye, and fist bumped her father. " Have fun and be careful! " Emerald said to her daughter, waving as Rubī left the building. Sapphire was simply standing and smiling, proud of his daughter.

Moments after leaving her home, she appeared behind her sensei, panting. She ran the whole way, out of excitedness. " Mei-sensei! " Rubī called to her sensei as she approached her. " So, I got a message about the Land of Tea? What's this meteor about? " She asked, still panting.

Pretty Boy, Yuudai Uchiha

Yuudai gazed up at the blue skies above as he made his way to the gates of the village, not bothered by the sun that loomed above. He was heading for the gates per the orders of Mei Tsaki, the woman that had been assigned as his Sensei as well as that of Rubi Akuma. He had heard rumors throughout the village that a stranger had rush into the village, spouting something about a meteor having fallen upon his village and that he needed help. What that help actually entitled was beyond the Uchiha, for he had not heard word of the dangers that had made its way to the meteor. Either way, he would had preferred to stay out of it and continue with his lackadaisical ways, but sadly all Genin teams had been deployed. A shame really.

He sighed deeply, turning his head from the sky to the road ahead of him, he getting closer to the gates with every step. A frown began to settle on his face as he wondered how long they would be gone from Suna. It was not like he needed to say any goodbyes, he not being very close to his family or anything. And his friends would had also had the misfortune, or fortune depending on their view, to also be heading for the lands. It was just that this mission would be the first time he stepped foot outside of his home and he did not know what to expect.

Yuudai shoved this troublesome thoughts from his head, for they would do him no good. A smile crept onto his face as he spotted the figures of Mei and Rubi, which meant he was last to arrive. “Morning Mei-sensei,” his muffled voice would say, bowing to the woman. He would than straighten himself and wave his hand at Rubi, “Rubi.”

Mei hadn't been waiting long when Rubi showed up. "Hello Rubi. Right now we must wait for Yuudai to get here." Mei said in her normal dull voice. She had spoken like this while with her team so they didn't know her personality and she always wore her mask so they could not see her face. A moment later Yuudai had finally showed up. "Goodmorning Yuudai." She had said in her same voice, "I will explain everything on the way there." Soon after that was said Mei's team left in a hurry.

" Oh, okay. " Rubī said, beginning to breathe normally. She then began to stretch and crack her bones to prepare for the semi-long journey that awaited. Rubī was completely pumped for this mission, especially since it would be their first since becoming Genin. Then, her Genin Teammate, Yuudai Uchiha, appeared after her. He waved at her for the second time since becoming teammates. She smiled. " Hey, Yuudai! " She would say before her sensei began to speak and lead the way. She said she'd inform them more about their mission along the way, which would be useful if she expected them to follow along.

Yuudai nodded, following behind Rubi as Mei walked pass the grands gates of Suna, the trio on their way to Tea Country. He would glance at the gates briefly before continuing to follow to two females. The only thing on his mind being what dangers dwelled within the distressed country.
