The sun glinted off of the forest surrounding the village of Oto. The soft spoken leaves rustled on account of the wind, lightly sprinkling drops of dew as they swayed back and forth in the breeze. The even toned bark stretched vertically into the sky in the form of branches. Within these branches intertwined a spiderweb of which a beautiful butterfly was immediately trapped upon contact. The spider creeps its way toward the insect, all eyes focused on one destination, one prey. It approached the trapped beauty and slowly caressed its body with silk webbing. While the prey flailed, it stopped soon after the cocoon was completed around its body, never to flap again.
Oboro watched from a nearby branch as the butterfly was slaughtered by the superior species. It was foolish to trap itself like that, practically giving up its own life. After that split second mistake, the insect paid for its insolence in its own life. "Poor thing." Oboro whimpered of its soul. Such beauty destroyed for quant delicacy. He puckered his lip before reaching out, allowing the arachnid to crawl onto his hand. It scampered about in circles he twisted his arm to keep eyes on it. As it crawled into his palm, he closed his hand tightly, ending all squirming. The powerful once again succeeded over the weak, as it would today.
His target was Kura, the powerful Kuwabara brother. The local thugs offered a reward to any that are able to defeat them in combat. The three waited immediately southwest of where Oboro was now, though he was killing time... And spiders. He would descend from his tree and most likely destroy the red brother in a single effort. There was no time to waste. He ran down the side and approached the group of brothers before him. They seemed quite confident upon his arrival.
"What do you want ya red haired twerp?" Said the speedster, Kana. Upon his comment the eldest brother, Kura, immediately expressed the offense he'd taken upon that comment. "Kana! You know I have red hair too!" Kura had a surprisingly raspy voice. Oboro simply expected it to be deep rather than scratchy. While it was a bit of a surprise, his expression remained unfazed. Kura bopped Kana on the head before approaching. "So you wish to challenge one of us?" Oboro smiled slightly and nodded. "Which one?" Asked the red headed gangster. Oboro extended his arm, pointing at the man who asked the question. His challenge was to the leader, Kura. At that moment, his fellow red haired adversary nodded and informed his brothers to move to a safe distance. From there he took his fighting stance. Readying himself for the Uchiha.
Oboro did not brace himself, he only walked forward, slowly kicking up dirt as he went. His smile grew larger as a sick grin molded to his face. He contemplated on how he would kill the man in front of him. He could set him afire or cut his throat. He could peel back his flesh revealing the lower layers of skin, organs and bone. His mouth began to drool as he contemplated the possibilities of unhinging Kura. Though he decided upon one action. He would end his life in the most painful way possible.
He ran at rapid speed towards Kura, in which the Kuwabara brother displayed his decent reflex ability. He was able to block a swift kick given by Oboro without much effort, giving Oboro the feeling that this person was at least a Taijutsu adept. His sense of hand to hand would probably be greater than that of Oboro's. He would have to take a more ranged approach than a close one. He'd underestimated the ugly bandit. Kura flashed a grin at which Oboro smiled back at. The oldest brother had raw strength on his side, the Uchiha could admire that.
It was more of a time to get serious now however. Slinging himself backwards, Oboro began forming hand signs with both hands, doubling his Jutsu output because he was able to do one handed hand signs. In both hands, Bungee Gomu formed. He slung his purple webs all around the battlefield, forming a sort of a nest of nearly ten strands. Kura was now boxed in by the webbing. Should he touch any of the surrounding ropes, he would be stuck in place, deprived of his speed. He would still be able to block, but only just. Should he move from his initial spot, he would once again be rendered motionless. The grin on Oboro's face stretched into a sadistic smile before he body flickered behind his opponent.
In his hand, Oboro possessed a single strand of Bungee Gomu. From a behind position, Kura was unable to see him. Oboro passed the strand between the brothers legs and wrapped it all the way up his tires, making sure to cover the mouth and nose. He whispered in his ear, "Hope your last breath was fresh, scum." He then kicked over the flailing Kura and watched his brothers fail to interfere. He wondered why they wouldn't step in to save their soon to be corpse of a brother.
Kura squirmed and reached for Oboro, fighting til his last breath, literally. Though no one saved him. The light faded from his eyes, growing dinner by the second before his struggling finally ceased. "Poor butterfly." Oboro commented. He then approached the brother in green for his reward. "By the way, why didn't you save your pest of a brother?" He asked with one brow raised.
Kana gave a simple but suffice answer to Oboro. "We all promised each other we wouldn't interfere. This was a true test of our strength." Oboro laughed out loud, his thrill booming through the forest. Perhaps these three were his type of people, well the two that are left. However, he would return tomorrow to kill them as well. He would force each of them to watch as the next died.
