Clan element/'s: Water release and later on once they hit B ranking they can use oil based techniques
Special characteristics/traits: Sharp shark like teeth
Location: Mostly live in the land of water, but over time some have scattered off to be found in locations such as the land of fire, or land of snow

Bloodline Name: Born of the water deity and bathed in oil
Bloodline Ability: Unlike most clans that focus on an advanced release or doujustu, hozuki clan members instead focus primarily on one of the basic 5 elements known as suiton, making them masters in the arts of all water ninjustu to the point that they have found ways to meld with the element itself. They are also talented in the arts of swordsmanship and have produced many great swordsmen over the years, some even going on to become some of the 7 swordsmen of the mist. Unlike most clans who rely on the pure power of their advanced release and bloodline, Hozuki members value the use of creativity and strategy instead in their abilities and are incredibly tricky opponents.

• Because of their more liquid like bodies, Hozuki clan members can hold more chakra within themselves giving them enhanced chakra pools which gives them the maximum amount of chakra for their rank.
  
  Hozuki members are master of all water ninjustu, dating back to the times of clan vs clan warfare, there are few water ninjustu that a clan member won't have trouble learning or using, because of this it costs half the ryo/word count for a hozuki clan member to learn water ninjustu that are up to their rank up, note that this does not count towards forbidden justu.
  
  Hozuki are beings that are one with water their whole lives, even at birth, because of this all Hozuki members must have suiton as their primary element, but all suiton used by the member has its combative abilities increased by 1 rank.
  
  Because of the oil in their bodies, Hozuki are surprisingly skilled with katon ninjustu, able to add oil to the justu in order to increase its combative abilities by 1 rank.
  
  Being made of water, Hozuki clan members have no problem breathing underwater or moving, in fact while in water Hozuki clan members are more agile and swift increasing their rank when dealing with speed by 1.

Name: Hydrification Technique

Range: supplementary, but the user can extend their limbs up to 10 meters

Description: The most valued technique in the clan, and the reason they have been such major threats in the past. This technique is makes it impossible to receive damage from physical attacks. From a single hair, to the skin and muscles, everything can be liquefied and solidified at will. Be it to evade an enemy's attack during a short range battle, to infiltrate a structure, or to launch a surprise attack in a liquefied state, this technique boasts a high strategic value and is perfect for the Hozuki fighting style of strategy and creativity. Applying this technique, the user can also modify their body parts for suitable situations, or meld with preexisting bodies of water.

Description: After liquefying a portion of his body, the user manipulates the resulting water to surround his target's head, preventing them from breathing in order to either: render the victim unconscious or ultimately kill them, if the suffocation is sustained. It takes 3 Post of total submersion to drown someone, and 2 posts to render them unconscious. Bubbles will reform around the person's head in one post if broken, and require an attack equal to this rank or higher to break, they the person risk's injuring themselves in the process.


Name: Water Balloon  Technique

Range: Bubbles can travel up to 20 meters away
Duration:  Bubbles maintain until they are popped.
Hand Seals/Charge up: Form or use a preexisting  pool of water
Description: The user forms a pool of water at their feet or uses a preexisting pool, then the user produces bubbles which float upwards from the ground. These are then launched at targets with such speed and force that they can cause great blunt-force trauma.

Description: By putting the Hydrification Technique into practical use, the muscles in a limb are temporarily enlarged and strengthened. Moisture is gathered from the whole body and compressed into the entire limb, like an instant pump-up. However, because it is essential to properly control the moisture balance inside the body, this technique's degree of difficulty is very high. The technique gives the user superhuman strength or speed if used on legs, capable of breaking through both rock walls and steel doors with their limbs and increasing their strength by 1 rank, if used on legs the user's speed is increased by 1 rank and their strength in the leg is also increased. Once a clan member reaches A rank they can perform this in two limbs at once for no additional cost.

Hand Seals/Charge up: Form a gun with their hand
Description: The user mimics a firegun with his hand and compresses an amount of water into their index finger, firing a drop with tremendous force and speed similar to a shot, enough to easily pierce through incredibly durable surfaces such as Gaara's sand clone. 5 Bullets per use. Once the Clan member reaches A ranking they perform this technique with both hands at once, increasing it to 10 bullets per use instead of 5.

Name: Steaming Danger Tyranny

Type: Ninjutsu

Range: Clan can travel 60 meters away from the user
Duration: Until clone is stopped or justu is cancelled
Hand Seals/Charge up: Snake-horse-tiger
Description: One of the most dangerous techniques of the clan, that shows off how lethal and creative their abilities are. The user will form a clone from the pil and water in their body that looks like a chibi version of themselves. The water in the clone is surrounded by a thin layer of oil and due to this structure, the clone's temperature can easily be altered from cold to hot and vice-versa. When it exerts itself, the outer layer of oil heats up and evaporates the water inside. As the internal pressure builds, the clone expands until it violently explodes and the water vapor is released resulting in a 25 meter explosion  with S rank force, capable of melting gold or the skin off a person, killing them instantly. This vapor then cools down as it rises and as a result, turns into hail that can cause blunt force trauma to all nearby while at the same time cooling the clone, causing it to shrink to its original size and start the entire process again. Despite its constantly increasing size, the clone itself remains very fast throughout the technique, enough to elude even Gaara's chakra-infused sand, moving at taijustu master speeds. This high-speed movement also allows it to heat up very quickly and to more easily inflict damage as the clone can form weapons from any point of its body, such as swords or axes that have a cutting force of S rank. However, using this powerful technique leaves the user in a severely weakened and vulnerable state, only able to a maximum of B rank techniques while this clone is in effect, and move at taijustu adept speeds.

forbidden technique of the clan:

Clan History: The Hozuki clan dates back to the times of clan vs clan warfare. The clan was incredibly powerful in this time, holding much of the land and islands that make up the land of water. The Hozuki were feared for their prowess in suiton based justu and their natural savageness that was only topped by that of their neighbors the Kaguya. Some compared them even to that of the senju and uchiha in terms of strength, able to form giant combat avatars out of suiton, similar to the ones used by the Hashirama senju and the uchiha. The Hozuki clan wound continue to be in control of most of the land in the land of water until the time of villages came about. Clans located near the Hozuki heard tale of the village formed by the uchiha and senju, and followed suit, unifying together to create a village. The Hozuki clan were against this, and feared they would lost much of the power they had, so they began to fight against the unified clans. Unfortunately, the Hozuki were no match for the sheer numbers of the unified villages despite their power and lost many members in a bloody war before surrendering and joining the unified clans in what would now become known as the Village Hidden in the Mist.

Though the Hozuki joined the Hidden Mist, they refused to become apart of the community, and kept to themselves in a district in the village specifically made for them. They would continue this self isolation, until one member came that would change the fate of the clan and the village forever, this member would come to be known as the 2nd Mizukage. The 2nd Mizukage was unlike any other Hozuki in the fact that he did not value brute savageness or power, he was a man of strategy and creativity. He inspired the clan members with his fighting style, defeating the old Hozuki leader and taking over the clan easily. He lead the clan out of their isolation and joined them with the rest of the village, working out relations with both sides for many months, until the two were unified. Thanks to the unification of the Hozuki and village, the Hidden Mist doubled in Power and became known as one of the five great villages. The Hozuki leader would be named the 2nd Mizukage for his work, and would lead the village into an incredible era of evolution and strength that would continue until his death. Over the years after the 2nd Mizukage's death the mist became known as the bloody mist for its savage practices, and some members did not agree with them, feeling like these practices completely destroyed everything the 2nd had worked for in his time. These members left the village, and scattered across the globe, leading to the Hozuki clan members being found in many different locations even today.

Earth based capture methods, such as sand, magnet release, or doton, are ineffective against hozuki clan members thanks to the oil that can secret from their bodies, because of this doton or other earth based capture methods are completely ineffective against clan members once they reach B rank

Hozuki clan members are naturally talented in swordsmanship, and almost any member can wield a bladed weapon perfectly, almost like an instinct, because of this all Hozuki clan members get one free basic in weaponry.
