Looks Description: Yamabushi is rather average in height and a little heavier in weight than the average, due mostly to his shinobi training. His average height features a body that is muscular but not overly so as he prefer to not seem like a body builder. He keeps his black, spiky hair cut short so it doesn't cover his ears. He normally keeps a scowl on his face as if he is always angry at the world.
Yamabushi normally wears a black, long sleeve shirt that has a collar that goes to mid neck. The entire shirt is made of a tight fitting but elastic material. The shoulders feature shoulder boards that can be used to attack a cloak or other forms of open cloth to keep it from falling off. On the back of the collar of the shirt is the Uchiha Clan Symbol. He has a pair of shinobi pants that feature's pockets on them in the same color as the shirt. When using Kunai and the such he attaches a kunai holster to his right leg. His pants are bloused over the pair of matching black shinobi sandals.
Underneath his clothes, Yamabushi's skin is one that is seemingly pockmarked with scars here and there signifying he lived a hard life he clearly wants back.
Personality Description: Yamabushi has a rather straightforward personality. Being born to a nomadic lifestyle, Yamabushi is never one to sit still long enough to make a plan, preferring to rely on snap-decision judgments his people seemingly perfected throughout their life as nomads. Also because of this nomadic lifestyle, he was taught to question everything he saw or heard just in case something was trying to harm him or his family, beast or man. It was during his informative years that he began acquiring his taste for blood, be it animal or man, and his disdain humans not of apart of his nomadic life style. When his nomadic family was broken up by a group of unknown shinobi, Yamabushi promised that he would bring everyone involved to justice even if it meant him joining one of the villages.
It was during his sixteen years spent as a nomad that Yamabushi developed his mannerisms to act in society. The society he is used to is different than the one people in the villages know. Fights were a common tool to handle disagreements and yelling at each other was a way of expressing a point not just emotions. One of the major differences between his nomadic lifestyle and village life is the increase of people and less room to move around. Yamabushi never had to worry about personal space as there was so much free space you never had to get close to someone if you didn't want to. It is mainly because of the crowds in the village that he is seemingly anti-social. That and the trust issues between him and those not belonging to his nomadic lifestyle.
When in combat, Yamabushi becomes even more distant from his teammates than he normally is, preferring the silence of moving alone to the noise of having to communicate with a teammate. He also will not hesitate to kill an enemy if he feels like he needs to, or wants to.
In the most basic form, Yamabushi's personality makes him into a high functioning sociopath with slight psychopathic tendencies and is apathetic towards people in general.

History: Yamabushi's childhood could be considered odd by anyone who was raised behind the safe walls of a village. Like most kids he had a father, who was an Uchiha, and a mother, who was a simple civilian, but that is where the similarities end. He was raised constantly on the move, moving from one nation to the next. Usually with a tail of angry civilians chasing them away, blamed with all their current problems. From an early age he was trained to care for nothing other than the safety of the band and that he needed to be willing to kill anyone who threatened their way of life. He was also taught that being weak would cause the band to fail and the only way to stop that was to become strong. It was one of the reasons his father was so hard on him. Despite this hardness, Yamabushi was never able to awaken his Sharingan during this training.
During the time where most kids would be in the Academy learning, Yamabushi was hunting for food and getting in fist fights with men twice his age and size to settle disputes. It was around his twelfth birthday that the elders began teaching him about the Curse of Fire. It was something originating in Konoha between two clans who fiercely hated each other. The ideal declared that the only way for the village to remain peaceful is that everyone must be strong enough to defend it despite all odds. Power and Love was the only way for peace to reign. If the balance were to ever be upset then the Nomads would lose their way of life. While he was being instilled with this ideal he was also taught how to perform the basics of the shinobi arts from Ninjutsu to Taijutsu and Genjutsu to Bukijutsu.
Throughout the years Yamabushi made very few friends outside of his nomadic clan, though there were very few exceptions when they passed close by a Shinobi Village. Whenever they would stop, he and his friends would be the first into the village to watch the shinobi train at the academy. Though they were often chased away by teachers and students alike, believing they were simple civilians trying to spy on them, they learned a lot from those few days. They wer often reprimanded by the elders when they arrived back at the camp, as well. Usually by Yamabushi's father.
It was a few months after Yamabushi's fifteenth birthday when tragedy struck. In the middle of the night a group of unknown shinobi struck at the heart of the encampment. At first Yamabushi thought it was another fight to settle the dispute but then he heard the horn that signified a retreat. Then the camp was nothing but chaos. There were only a few dead bodies, mostly enemy combatants, but there were a few that belonged the nomads. He took care to remember their names so that retribution could be brought upon those who dared attack them. He knew it would take a while for him to regroup with his family at the designated spot but he did not care. He burned those names in his mind so he would never forget. Masashi Torifu, Gennai Kiyomu, and Baku Kichi. Those were the names he was going to exact revenge for. It didn't take long for the camp to now stand empty save for the dead bodies and the enemy but they still had a ways to go before they were whole again.
After nearly a month of travelling, Yamabushi finally arrived at the location only to find it empty. As if it had been abandoned in the middle of the night. To Yamabushi this meant that they had been attacked by the same group of shinobi and ran away again, instead of them simply moving camps deeper into the forest which was the case. He stayed there for nearly a week before he decided that he needed to become stronger so that he could avenge his village.
That was when he decided to head to the closest village to join the shinobi there to become stronger. Otogakure was his destination. And it was a pain to get them to allow him to join. He resided there nearly a year until they allowed him to join the academy where he quickly excelled at due to his many years of doing the same thing these kids had just started as. He was often in trouble for settling disputes with fights that often left kids younger than him wounded. Thanks to his skill, or that fact they couldn't handle kids being injured by him anymore, they promoted him to Genin and gave him his headband. The previous Kage had been hesitant to place him on a squad but maybe the new one would be able to figure it out.
