Village Rank: Genin
Skill Rank: D
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 170lbs
Hair color: Auburn

Looks Description: Rakki wears a mild mannered expression on his face at all times, giving him a calm look to those who don't know him. He has light brown eyes that fade into a tinge of green on the outer rim of the iris when he is feeling the emotions of love, anger, or both. He wears his auburn hair medium length with a noticable effort at keeping it groomed, though everybody has their off days. He has a weaker jawline and a smaller frame but the bit of meat he does have is toned and he is very much in shape. Wears a white overcoat that splits at the waist to allow visibility of his legs of which are covered by slightly baggy, black pants (no bands wrapping around like in the image). He wears boots instead of the typical shinobi sandals, though a hot day may persuade him otherwise on that choice. Is also typically carrying a sword with him, and at times carries the broken blade his father bestowed upon him.
Personality Description: Rakki is typically a calm and well mannered man. He tries to be kind to those within his village and is especially caring and protective of those he knows on a personal level. He tends to call himself a strategist, though he often thinks with his emotions rather than his thoughts and this can be a blessing or a burden depending on his situation. Basically, he's just a caring guy if you're a friend or even acquaintance. However, if you're an enemy or if you attempt to harm somebody he considers friendly his personality changes.
He becomes unforgiving of any transgression you may have attempted towards the one he considers friendly. He will fight bravely and almost stupidly, usually out of anger. If fighting out of love, he literally will not stop fighting until he passes out or his target is dead. This is where his nickname derives, the Demon of Love. He becomes cold and calculating where his enemy is concerned, emotion fueling this sudden change, and he becomes another person entirely.
He typically empathizes with those defending their own loved ones and is easier on them and may even help in their defense if they weren't his enemy, regardless of their origins. He has a great respect for those who are loved by many, and those who will die for those they love.

History: Rakki was born of a shinobi turned merchant after loss of limb in a mission and the woman he had fallen for and saved on aforementioned mission. His early life was filled with adoration by his parents as they did their best to give him everything he needed to grow up happy and for the most part, they succeeded. Growing up, he never asked his father what had happened to his arm and why half of it was missing nor did he ask his mother, and they never told him for that simple reason. He had known his father was a shinobi at one point and could guess why he had lost his arm, but still never asked.
Wishing to take after his father, Rakki convinced his parents to enroll him in the Academy. Once there, he began learning the basic jutsus of being a shinobi and absorbed the information like a sponge absorbs water. He trained incessantly, wishing to be as good or even better than his father had been. He focused his attentions on the arts of Ninjutsu and Kenjutsu (swordplay) like his father bragged about to him when he had been a younger child and his senseis noted his progression with interest.
Graduation came quickly for the young man, aged twelve at this point in his life, and he didn't want his time at the Academy to end even though he also felt the need to do his duty to his village. As a gift, his father gave him the very blade he himself had used during his time as a shinobi which elated Rakki more than the actual graduation.
Once he got out into the world of being a shinobi, going on missions with his sensei and his team, he began to wonder again about his father's injury. As the days grew on and he learned more and more about the world, Rakki began to care deeply for his team mates, and eventually grew to love them dearly. He felt as if he would do anything in his power to save them should he need to, including sacrificing his life if that was the cost. Still dwelling on his father's past, Rakki began to put together his own conclusion as to what happened.
He waited years before asking, nerves destroying any attempt he would make before that time. He even tried to make it to the rank of Chuunin before he discovered his father's story though he failed his first time, and when he asked it was if a massive burden had been lifted from his chest. Explaining, his father revealed that Rakki's own mother had gotten captured by a couple missing nin that he was supposed to be hunting. It was pure coincidence that the woman they took prisoner happened to be the lover of Rakki's father, and his father fought tooth and nail to get her back. Eventually, it was just Rakki's father and the nin he was supposed to capture. Both exhausted and nearly out of chakra, the nin tested his father's will by telling him he'd go quietly and wouldn't kill Rakki's mother if Rakki's father would cut his own arm off. Emotion taking hold, Rakki's father didn't hesitate with the blow that took his shinobi career from him. True to his word, the nin went back to the village to face punishment.
Rakki's team has all been promoted at this point in his life, leaving him as the only one to not achieve Chuunin status. He discovered his ability to use Hyoton in a mission with a Jounin that didn't yet have a team where both of their lives were put at very high risk. After being captured, the jounin was tortured initially right in front of Rakki and drove him nearly to the point of madness, not wishing to see a member of his village put through so much pain. In a fit of anger, Rakki exploded out with his chakra and had it explained to him by the jounin afterwards that he had killed every target by himself and in the process broke his father's sword. With relatively minor wounds, Rakki found himself exhausted and being carried back by this jounin. Resolving to protect the village he loved and to climb up the ranks until he was strong enough to preserve that resolve, Rakki now stands ready to face the world.
RP Sample: The wind bit and stung at Rakki's cheeks as he stood watch, snow coming down at a vicious angle with the fierce wind. His breath misted the air as he breathed silently, awaiting the arrival of his target. A C-Rank missing nin wasn't much to be afraid of for him, but he wanted out of the cold. Holding his hand back with his palm facing backwards and fingers extended, Rakki motioned to the Chuunin that was accompanying him to stay back and watch. He had no need for words, as the boy was quite intelligent. He was to be backup incase things went awry for Rakki, an event he didn't see happening.
Pulling his coat tighter to better keep himself warm, Rakki checked his surroundings yet again. Trees traced the horizon to the north, their outlines barely visible against the swirling snow while the sun began its daily descent into dusk in the west. Amongst the dim sky of different shades of gray and white intermixed with each other, Rakki checked the road from behind the fence he had chosen as his temporary cover. Minutes passed in silence as nobody came down the barely visible dirt road etched along the surface of the earth, drawing Rakki's patience away ever so slightly. Finally, after a spell of boredom and waning patience, the sound of footsteps echoes across the relatively empty and quiet landscape. Making a single seal, that for the Kage Bunshin no Jutsu, Rakki formed a clone next to him that was crouching.
The missing nin came into view soon after. He was dressed in black and had his head shaved, a headband on his forehead with a line carved through the representation of Kirigakure. Lamenting the loss of a family member briefly, Rakki nudged his clone into action. Emerging from behind the fence, the clone made a series of seals before leaping into the air and expelling a massive amount of water out of its mouth in the form of Exploding Water Colliding Wave. Taken off guard by the sudden attack, the missing nin's hands began to quickly move to form seals for what appeared to be a Katon style attack. Reacting quickly, Rakki formed the seal for the Body Flicker technique and appeared near the shinobi before he could finish weaving his seals. Surprise formed on the young man's face as his blue eyes stared up at Rakki in utter shock. A few quick hand seals and Rakki submerged his opponent in the Water Prison jutsu.
The shinobi got a look of fear in his eyes as he realized the sheer danger he was in. Rakki's eyes were saddened by that look, a feeling he didn't care to feel. Whipping a kunai out of his single pouch of weapons, Rakki waited until the nin was about to drown before releasing the jutsu. Landing on the ground and coughing violently, the nin managed to find his knees whilst his lungs attempted to leave his body. Watching him with pity, Rakki waited for the fit to stop before kneeling and grasping the man by his hair. Pulling it back and lifting his body straight yet still on his knees, Rakki held the kunai to his throat.
"Any last words, brother?" he would ask, sorrow in his voice. The shinobi closed his eyes and deeply inhaled the frigid air before sighing. Without a word, he pushed his throat forward until a bead of blood formed on the edge. Taking the hint, Rakki slid the edge across his juggular and laid the shinobi onto the ground. The blood began to stain the small layer of snow and soak the ground underneath, frozen though it was. Staring down at his fallen brother, a single tear escaped Rakki's left eye as he looked back to where the Chuunin was. Climbing out from behind the fence with wide eyes, the Chuunin could only gawk at Rakki.
"That was amazing! You took him down in no time flat! Wow!" he exclaimed. Rakki only shook his head.
"To be awed by the death of even a former brother isn't correct, young man. The life of our village flows through his veins, even if it was tainted. Today, there are no victories or completed missions, there is only this boy without his life." he would reply softly and honestly. The Chuunin's smile disappeared slowly, humbled at Rakki's words. Dispersing his clone, Rakki would wipe his kunai off on his pants and put it away before squatting and lifting the young man onto his shoulders. "And now, we go to lay him to rest." With that, the chuunin and Rakki head back towards Kirigakure and the family Rakki had sworn to protect.
