Description: On the outskirts of the village, there has been just a bit more violence than usual. It seems a couple of Genin from a minor country have taken it to causing trouble in the area. They will usually fight, beat, and steal from passing individuals. The threat is too little to involve the Anbu but it must be dealt with either way. Disguise yourself as a simple civilian, and once approach, teach them a lesson.
Zuka sighed when she read the mission description. She didn't want to do it, however, she needed the Ryo. She had about just under 4000 to her name and if she wanted to go for sage mode training, she would have to save up. It would be better to do A or S rank missions, but she didn't have the time or patience right now to deal with random, loud plebeians. Even though, as ANBU Captain, this was far below the type of work she normally dealt with or governed over, a few punk genin shouldn't be a problem. The question was how to subdue them. Subdue might even be generous, it did say teach them a lesson. Better to beat them within an inch of their life and teach them their lesson that way. That should be fun. Zuka looked up from the paper and out onto the steppes. In the distance, she could see the shrine of her ancestors, the Kaguya Temple. Being on top of this mountain allowed for an excellent vantage point in which to see any happenings at the border. She felt the wind blowing, fiercely, as if it had a personal vendetta against her.
Zuka allowed her self to think about the past. When she was younger and lower in rank within ANBU, she remembered the ANBU Hanae. One of the few that had been kind to her really, something that, Zuka considered, was a double edge sword. Rumor has it that she left to join the Akatsuki. One could see her reasons for it, although on the flip side, a lot more wouldn't. However, as a child, though not as impressionable, Hanae had been a sort of role model. Certain qualities can be admired of people, regardless of the fact that she slaughtered her entire clan. Besides, murder is fun anyhow.
In her peripheral, she spotted a trade caravan at one end of the border valley. It was moving at a slow pace and she could already sense that this had the markings of being a prime target. Normally, they would target individuals, but the caravan was moving slowly and had no sign of guards at first glance. Zuka decided to traverse through the forest down the mountain and shadow them until the genin appeared instead of waiting for them to get to her. With that, Zuka began to race down the mountain.
She stopped right at the forest line, before the valley. She could just barely she the top of the caravan and it seemed to move slower now that she was up close. Hidden in the tree line, her intent was to shadow the caravan until those pesky genin appeared. Hopefully they would appear sooner than later so that she could collect her ryo and be on her way.
All of a sudden, she felt a kunai hitting her armor. Sighing, without turning around, she reached over her shoulder and pulled out the kunai. Checking her shoulder, it seemed that it didn't pierce the armor. She figured that it wouldn't, but hey, one can never really be sure. Pocketing the kunai and placing her hand on the hilt of her sword, she turned around.
She figured that her mask wouldn't be doing the genin any favors, with it being a four-eyed wolf that had long, coarse black hair attached. Her red, black and gray outfit also wasn't helping, but it wasn't her fault that she was partial to the color of blood. Within her eyesight, she saw three genin, standing in defensive postures. She could see that their leader was trying to look brave, but the other two genin couldn't meet their eyes and one of them were actually shaking.
She drew her sword and held it up; The sword flashed once and sparkles fell to the ground, giving away Sisterhood's true, hooked appearance. She was going to get this down quickly, preferably without their deaths. She stared at the leader, who finally let out a cry and charged, leaping into the air to kick her in the face. Using her free hand, she sidestepped out of the way, grabbing the genin's ankle and swung him around into a tree.
Turning back, she looked at the other genin, who looked as though they were going to piss their pants.
"Who's next? I really don't have all day to deal with miscreant genin. Either come quietly or end up like fearless leader over here."
Exchanging a shaky look, the other 2 genin took out kunai and charged at her. She jumped and landed behind them, turning quickly to face them. Quickly, she approached them and kicked one genin twice in back and he landed on the forest floor, knocked out. She faced the last genin, grinning behind her mask. The other genin promptly passed out. She gathered the bodies together and then searched the genin's pouches for some wire, then tied them together. Grabbing one of their kunai, she attached an explosive tag to it and threw it up in the sky, were it exploded. Sighing, she got up and headed back to the village.
