Looks Description: (I have no picture for him at all, so this is why I will write it out here.)
As is common with the Inuzuka clan, he has the familial markings of red fangs painted upon his cheeks. However, due to interactions with his father, there are further markings on his body. His heritage differs from the mainstay of the Inuzuka clan which originated in Konoha. These markings perhaps also play part in the names his different personalities have for each other, as the form of a dragon is marked across his chest. Serpents coil around both biceps, with heads over his shoulders and fangs bore towards his neck. He attempts to keep these marks hidden under bandage wraps, as he fears some kind of implication they might have, since he is capable of making the correlation between the dragon on his chest, and the one other personality he knows of.
His build is slim, as he works for speed, to be able to keep up with his dog, Shou. His clothes are a mix of black and dark blue, as is common amidst Kirigakure ninja. He has little in the way of money, but he attempts to store up so he can get one of those jackets to store the wide collection of kunai and other weapons/tools he has at home.
Personality Description: Split Personality, so get ready for the barrage.
Daisuke has two additional personalities, one of which he is still unaware of. The personalities refer to each other in terms, or by animal names they associate to each other, though Daisuke’s original/main personality is only aware of one other at the time, this being the case due to blacking out before the third takes over and only waking up after he regains control.
Daisuke/Kyouinu (Frightened Dog) – At a young age, he was bottling in his anger, shelving away his mind to protect himself from harm due to a deep seeded fear imbued upon him by his father’s actions. Since then, he is generally the cowardly, quiet, and shy one. He still has a bark, and is known to argue and mouth off, but usually is incapable and lacking the self-confidence to do anything about it. All bark, and no bite.
Daisuke/Kouryuu (Fearsome Dragon) – The hatred, anger, and fury that Daisuke pushed aside because, at a young age, it did him no good against his father and older brothers, surfaces when his anger gets the better of him. When the arguments become truly heated, or works of self-deprivation stir his inner self, Kouryuu emerges. He cares nothing for anything peaceful, passive, or docile in nature, and only wants to fight. Blind Rage set loose.
Daisuke/Kenonore (Wily Serpent) – The third personality arose amidst the arguments that took place between Kyouinu and Kouryuu. The anger called Daisuke foolish and stupid but cared little for planning things out and only sought pure force and destruction. The docile Daisuke sought more caution but then never actually did anything. Act wisely, but Act, the Snake would say, and so he arose amidst further rage surging between the other two. There is no clear sign to when this personality arises, but typically, it does involve Daisuke losing consciousness, or rather, either or both of the other two personalities losing consciousness.
Living on his own, he has become very untrusting, and so earning his trust takes a lengthy amount of time. He can seem brash and crude to those attempting to earn his trust, though this depends on how they go about it. He has very few cares in the world, and the chiefest among them only include one other person. Most likely, this person is not you. Deep down, he is a good person, but finding that buried person could prove to be quite the task.
Likes: To be left alone, quiet, alcohol, surviving, his sister, his dog Shou.
Dislikes: People who trust easily, people who believe he is the reason he is unhappy, people who abuse trust, people who prevent another from making their own choices, talkative people, overly-friendly people, large crowds.
Catch Phrases: “And what do you expect from me?”
Nindo: “Survival.”
Element Affinity: Lightning
Sub Element Affinity: Water (Aiming to acquire Storm in future)
History: At his birth, Daisuke's mother died. And for this "deed he accomplished" he had been blamed by his father and older brothers for it. His sister, however, cared for him, and did her best to shelter him over the years from the cruelty of their father. For eight years, Daisuke was tormented verbally and physically for this claim. At first, he was angry and rebelled, but no matter the pitiful excuses of rebellion he could manage at that age, it only amounted to further torment.
His sister did not do anything against the torment, and merely took it, and so he attempted to copy this, and bottled his anger in. His sister was tormented for her lack of progress in learning her ninjutsu, and even though by the time she was 14 (and he, 8) she had graduated from the academy, their father and brothers were not amused. On the night of her graduation she received pointed torment from them which Daisuke witnessed, and in that moment, his restraint was shattered.
His anger became his second personality and it emerged that night. Unknowingly he managed to scrounge together a bit of lightning based chakra and set the basement of their home ablaze. Daisuke's sister managed to use wind based chakra in that moment, and diverted the flame away from them, as they escaped.
In the years to come, the two lived on their own. There were a few fears. The fire that destroyed the home came with news spreading throughout the village that the family had been wiped out. Going to anyone in the higher ranks of the village brought the danger of their survival becoming public. If it was, would their father's family not come after them? This was Daisuke's worry, of course, so he demanded it from his sister that they stay silent. Plus, they were both not of an adult age, and there was no guarantee that if they were sent to some orphanage, or other care facility, that they would be kept together for long.
In their years under their father's torment, they only had each other. Separation would be tantamount to death, for then they would be truly alone in the world. So, in silence they lived in a home of their own. Daisuke eventually went to the academy though, and the Mizukage learned the truth from them. Though he never forced them to separate, Daisuke still did not trust the Mizukage to keep to his word, nor that he would not send word to anyone else in their family that they were alive.
In the academy, Daisuke was given his dog, Shou. He was smaller than the usual ninja dog, even despite his young age. Such was the reasoning behind his name. Daisuke thanked the Inuzuka that gave him the dog, but did not really show any trust in the person, since they were related, even if distantly. In this time, Daisuke and his sister never heard from any direct familial ties (grandparents, father's siblings, mother's family) and preferred it that way. However, this only rose their suspicions higher about them.
At the age of 13, Daisuke graduated from the academy, but after two years in training, he has personally not opted to accept the invitation for the Chunnin Exams. And at the age of 15, he has learned that his father and brothers did not die that night in the house either. They came looking for him and his sister. After a fight in the streets of Kirigakure, and pursuing them to a different family estate outside of the village's walls, he has personally seen to the demise of both his father and his brothers. However, in the process, his sister is now missing. She has not been deemed a criminal, but her whereabouts are unknown, having vanished amidst the initial attack on her and Daisuke within Kirigakure.
In his father's other estate, Daisuke found a unique assortment of swords. He took some of them, and hopes to one day train with them. Not that he seeks to emulate his father and brother's styles of fighting, but knows that he has little in the way of learning opportunities, and needs to find ways to improve himself on his own.
RP Sample: After his escapades with his father, and the torment and stress he had to endure throughout it all, Daisuke began to think little of the whole 'kids shouldn't drink' thing. Perhaps, it was more along the lines that he believed age should not decide, but rather experiences, whether or not someone was a kid. He did not feel like a kid anymore. He did not feel innocent. He did not feel young. He felt older than some of the Chunnin and Jonin sometimes. More importantly, he just wanted to forget his trials and tribulations.
He had to be sneaky about it, but skipping off with some Sake was not a difficult thing. And so he procured it and snuck off to drink it by himself, sitting out on his favorite hill that overlooked the coastline. There were a lot of coasts to look at in the Country of Water, but this spot... well, he wasn't sure why he liked it best, he just did. He drank his sake there, and tried to take his mind off it all. His father, his brothers, his absent family, and... his missing sister.
"Kiyomi-chan... where are you?" he murmured quietly to the air, as his eyes focused on the waves in the distance. And just as he was getting to the good part of being sloshed... one of the Jonin's walked up to him.
"Daisuke-san, you can't keep running off with the sake. You shouldn't be drinking at your age. You'll cause more harm than good. You'll grow up to be a lecherous drunkard."
"Bah, and who would care? Would anyone look at me any differently than they do now? Why should I care?" And with a resounding motion, he downed the rest of the bottle in a final swig.
"Daisuke-san, you cannot let the way your family treated you govern how you view the rest of the world."
"Hmm? And why not? They are supposed to be the standard for the best the world has to offer. When all else fails, family is supposed to love, support, and protect. The only one who fit that bill was Kiyomi. And now, she's gone. So why should I look at the rest of the world, who is not expected to give me anything, as if they will, out of the goodness of their heart, and charity?" He scoffed, and stood up from his spot. He wavered one way, and then the other, briefly, before getting his body straight, balanced, and stable, and then set off for 'home.' Merely a place without a view where he would be alone.
Shou was a quiet pup, knowing when to support and when to chastise. It was only at home that the pup bit onto Daisuke's leg. Daisuke grumbled, but did not return the rebuke in any way. He merely knit his brow and frowned.
"I do not know what else to do, Shou. You're smaller than me, but stronger. I can't handle this as easily as you." Daisuke slumped onto a cushion against the wall, and waited for Shou to leap into his lap. When he did, he simply petted the pup while he stared out the window.
