Start of Something New[Private, Sage]

Inhaling the dense ass mist of Kirigakure, Shinji was wearing an easy outfit. He wasn't in the flashy mood today, having so many things happening to him lately. So he was only wearing a black hoodie with a yellow scarf around his neck, some black cargo shorts, and a pair of black tim's with white fur trimming.

Simple outfit, with at least decent results, anyhow today Shinji was practicing with a new weapon he had acquired. None other than the legendary Samehada! He knew the blade would drain him quite a bit, but it would be a necessity for him to master it, if he ever wanted to purify the world. Just the act of gripping the handle, he could feel the demon suck away at his chakra pools. Here goes nothing. He took the blade off of his back on hand and began his training process. He wasn't too focused though, his thoughts were always fleeting to elsewhere, and being as cautious as he was, he would also scan his surroundings regularly. Having such a famed blade in ones hands, could place a huge mark on ones head.

Tamashi entered the field with a solemn expression on his face. He was wearing a black straight jacket but with his arms free and white cargo pants. On his feet, he had black steel-toed boots that were light despite appearing heavy. On his straight jacket, there were multiple white straps that hung down with sharp hooks attached to them. On his right leg was where his pouch hung and his sword was strapped to his back.

Tamashi was unperturbed by the thick mist produced by the common elements of Kirigakure. He had grown used to them through his constant training and thus was able to see better than normal people. As he entered the field, he caught sight of the teen that stood across from him. He looked as though he was waiting for someone and Tamashi began to wonder if that someone was himself.

He crossed the field till he was standing a few feet in front of the boy. The height difference was obvious, but then again Tamashi was only 10 while this boy appeared to be around 14-15 years of age. He noticed the teen's build and way he carried himself. It was noticed that he seemed kinda carefree and he wondered how that would play into his fighting style. The idea of a fight was a comforting thought to Tamashi, but his facial expression still remained hard and unnerving.

Chakra 150/160

Shinji felt the new chakra signature enter his area. Didn't seem like much, but there was something unsettling about it, something deeper in his chakra, that Shinji couldn't put a finger on. Little did Shinji know the boy was a Senju, a descendant of the Shinobi God Hashirama. Shinji kept his sensory focused on him, but wouldn't let his body language show it.

But after a few swings with Samehada, he quickly a bit fatigued. The sword really was a greedy ass mofo, and loved the taste of Shinji's chakra. So quickly getting tired of testing his blade with simple strikes why not a quick and civil spar? Hey I know I don't know you, but you wanna spar or something. Just like as friends, I'm not really a fan of the whole Bloody Mist vibe. Though he wielded a legendary blade of the mist, Shinji was far from the embodiment of the Bloody Mist. He despised the act of killing and just wanted so good old fashion buddy to buddy sparing. How about it yo? He placed Samehada on his back and extended a hand, with a wide smile. He was hoping this kid would become a good friend, because in these grueling times even a shinobi could use one.

Tamashi watched the boy practice swinging the huge sword. Seeing the slight fatigue on him caused him to wonder what was going on. He then realized just what the boy wielded. "The infamous Samehada," was all Tamashi said for the moment. He went deep into thought, wondering if he should take the boy up on his offer. He wants a friend. I don't know how to make friends, Tamashi thought rather sadly. Maybe this is my one chance to try. I suppose I can see how it goes through the fight. Tamashi stared into the eyes of the boy and released a slow, deep breath. "My name is Tamashi Senju. I accept your proposal.....friend," he said, but with no change of his expression.

Shinji's face lit up in excitement, as his offer was accepted. He hadn't any real friends and to find what seemed like a true one in Kirigakure, Shinji was truly pleased. He didn't mind the boy not showing any emotion, for hearing his name was enough. He then returned the gesture before preparing for combat. Shinji Ujimasa yo! He didn't even mind the boy being a Senju in all of his excitement, his bit of fatigue seemed to also vanish. Alright let's do this. He hope back placing roughly 15m between the two.

Tamashi entered into a Taijutsu stance as the boy hopped back. He could tell he was excited and could feel the respect as Shinji gave him his name. He took a few deep breaths before launching himself forward toward Shinji. He began with a leg sweep, using it as a feint. He would follow that up with the Dynamic Entry. He moved fluidly and quickly, not wasting time in between.

Dynamic Entry:

Shit Shinji muttered at his enemy's quick advance. With barely enough time from Tamashi's speed, Shinji planted Samehada in front of himself, which would successfully block both attacks. This also gave Shinji the cover to execute one of his favorite jutsu. Needing only the tiger seal, Shinji expelled a dense fog from his mouth. No matter who used to Kirigakure's mist one was, this was truly something new. Visibility was limited to barely even a hands distance away and Shinji would use this opportunity the slip into the murky mist.

Samehada would be left planted into the earth, but due to the blade having it's own chakra signature Shinji could easily sense it. And with this Shinji could also find the virtually blinded Senju and carry out an attack.

Tamashi leaped back as the mist was expelled from Shinji's mouth. He flipped once before landing on his feet. The thick mist impaired his sight and it was obvious that he would have to try different tactics if he wished to counter this ability. He closed his eyes and allowed himself to focus on his sense of smell and hearing. He was in his Taijutsu stance, preparing for a quick counter in case he was attacked. "Very smart, limiting my sight like this," Tamashi stated with obvious appraisal.

Hearing the bot's foot steps put more distance between the two, Shinji began pondering approaches. He had many, but only one would make this fight truly fun. Forming the Tiger seal again, Shinji conjured up a water clone, who already had knowledge of Shinji's plot. After a quick scan, to find Tamashi's location, both entities took off. Shinji ran for Samehada, while the clone at his target while forming handseals. Then reeling back its fist, it utilized a portion of the dense mist to form an ominous liquid Manta Ray which carried the clone effortlessly to Tamashi. Ready or not, here I come yo! The clone shouted about 2m from Tamashi. Shinji felt a little bad for the boy, so he felt a warning was necessary.

Meanwhile the real Shinji, had reunited with his precious Samehada, which made a faint organic sounding shudder upon its wielders touch. Shinji sighed as the beast sucked down some more chakra, he was a little disappointed he hadn't gotten the opportunity to gain some in return . . . yet.

Jutsu used:

Tamashi, who had been focusing on his hearing, heard the multiple footsteps. Hearing more than one set puzzled him for a moment. "You're a tricky one," he stated as he realized that his opponent was using a clone jutsu. He didn't know which one of the many, but considering the origins of the mist being a water based, he figured it must be a water clone. Then again, I could always be wrong, he thought rather half-heartedly. Reaching into his pouch, he produced 3 shuriken which he threw toward the first set that were not running toward him.

Tamashi figured that these were the original because they were heading in the direction of Samehada. However, the other set bothered him after he could no longer hear their footsteps. Gathering his strength, he launched himself into the air just as the attack from the manta ray hit. It grazed the bottom part of his left leg, causing him to twist in the air as he continued his upward ascent. The pain was bearable as he felt nothing to be broken, but the momentary stun shocked him.

Tamashi continued his ascent till he was able to clear the thick mist and looked downward to see just what kinda dimensions it had. "This will be an issue. It's wider than I thought. Looks to be around 25-30 meters. Quite troublesome indeed," he said as he finished his scan of the area. Twisting his body and flipping multiple times to change his direction, Tamashi aimed to land outside of the mist created by Shinji so that he could better form a counterattack.

OOC: The mist is 30m all around my, meaning spherical also. I don't think you could have jumped 70-80 feet high in the air, to reach outside of it. Not a big problem though, so I'm just gonna play along. Basically for future references, if we spar again.

As Shinji prepared to join up with his clone in an assault against the Senju, he had foolishly let his guard down. Only warned by the tiny fluttering of the shuriken, Shinji relieved his grip and chakra of Samehada and formed the Tiger seal in front his frame. In an instant, a circle of water shielded his form, slicing down the three Shuriken.

He sighed in deep relief and noticed his clones attack had been evaded. No matter, it seems the Senju had took the the air. There he would be vulnerable, unable to find footing to maneuver his body. The clone being carried in the Manta Ray, followed Shinji's orders it had received mentally and followed through with its first miss, into an seamless aerial back flip. The back flip, would be a little wide, due to the Manta being unable to perform any advanced movements in the sky, but that wouldn't matter, for the Senju couldn't perform any tricks Shinji knew about up there also. So now the clone shielded in the Manta Ray would be silently approaching Tamashi's back. But not to strike him with the aquatic sea animal forged of chakra, no, that would be too simple. Slightly above Tamashi the clone would desperately extend an empty hand, waiting to receive a gift. The Manta was a bit more visible than most things in the mist though, this was from its deep, dark, navy blue shade, but even if seen, it wouldn't matter, because the Manta wasn't aiming at him, it was positioning the clone for a much more satisfying ploy. This would more than likely confuse the Senju, seeing that he is being slightly ignored, especially with another factor to take into account.

Meanwhile the real Shinji or the other factor would again eagerly feed the demon sword more chakra. He hadn't gotten a chance to receive back from the damn beast yet and was even more determined now. Already having knowledge of his targets location, from directing his clone to that area, Shinji gripped Samehada tight with ambition. The blade made a shudder, as it tried to siphon a bit more of Shinji's chakra at his tightened grip, but Shinji rejected the mass. Shinji was tired of endlessly feeding the blade his reserves and decided to man up and say no, he was the blades wielder after all. It had gotten enough from him and maybe it would enjoy Senju chakra better. So rich and full of life, but Shinji and the sharkskin sword were unaware of this.

Jumping as high as he could, Shinji knew he couldn't dream about reaching the height his sparring partner reached, so he already had a plan in mind which was excellently timed, due to the plans participants sharing the same brain in a sense. Meaning they knew when to slow down or speed up, to arrive to point A and B, at the times needed. Tossing Samehada up not as hard as possible, but with as correct timing as possible, Shinji was offering the blade to his clone, who would be positioned over the Senju to deal a devastating attack. If the Senju reached a limb out for the blade he would barely be able to see, due to the moderate speed at which is was thrown and the dense mist, his arm would be filleted like a fish from the sharp sharkskin and he would also find his chakra devoured by the greedy sword. The clone however would be able to catch the beast by the hilt, thanks to the two Shinji's cooperating like an elite team, and would swing the blade downward at the young boy, with blinding speed.

If landed, the boy would be launched to the ground and would surely be exhausted from the blades toll. Not to mention the many cuts and things he would suffer from the jagged edged beast. Shinji knew it was a little harsh, but he was trying to push himself more and more out of his comfort zone of injuring people. Sadly the boys entrance timing was too on point and he unknowingly, signed up to be a test of the boys training. But after the spar, Shinji would gladly return the siphoned Chakra to the Senju. But of course, the spar wasn't for sure over yet.

Tamashi knew that he was vulnerable in the air and had to quickly get to the ground. He did not know what Shinji was planning, but he suddenly noticed something flying in the air toward him. The flying object was huge and looked oddly like a sword. "Samehada!" Tamashi said aloud.

Tamashi began to wonder why Shinji would through his weapon at him like that. However, he did not have time to finish his thinking because he needed to figure a way out of his current situation. he was so focused on the flying sword that he did not notice the clone-manta combo coming toward him from behind.

Forming the clone hand sign, he created a shadow clone and had the shadow clone grab his left arm. He grabbed his sword from his back with his right hand and released it from it's scabbard. The clone spun Tamashi out of harms way and as he spun, he noticed the clone-manta combo. Clever, he thought. As he spun, he slashed out with his sword at the clone-manta. Then as he was brought around again, the clone released him toward Samehada where he slashed out with his blade to knock the sword aside to fly off in a different direction. He was then knocked a little off course as he was still in his launch toward the ground.

Top tier Genin damn. Shinji mumbled inaudibly at the fact his clone and plan had failed. But he didn't have time to mourn, so he pushed those thoughts aside as he ran through a set of handseals. Closing his eyes kneading chakra, his chest expanded to a giants size. Holding the Tiger seal at his lips, a little water freely trickled down his chin, it was refreshing. But he didn't have time to think about how good this water felt to him, because soon the Senju would despise the burst.

His cheeks involuntarily expanded four times from each massive bullet of water. Each shot would be strategically placed in a formation to form a sort of wall. With Shinji's positioning being almost directly under Tamashi and his clone, he didn't even have much aiming to do, just a slight head movement to place the bullets in wanted areas. The only sign of there arrival would be the noise they made upon being fired, after that nothing, they would simply hurdle swiftly at the boy and his clones location, in an attempt destroy the clone and to launch him, even further than he was now, in the sky. If a dodge was executed Shinji would fire his last bullet immediately at the boy's new location. A normal shinobi would have no clue where the new location would be, but Shinji's Sensory skills, would easily allow him to track the healthy Senju. Having knowledge the bullets had the power to kill people, he gladly lowered the density of the bullets of water, but with that modification came an increase in speed. Much like regular bullets, these masses would travel at speeds barely traceable in their well placed formation.

Immediately after firing, Shinji would take no time to admire his work, he would sprint towards Samehada, which would be firmly planted into the moist earth. Shinji was glad the blade had its own chakra signature, if not he would have had to drop the misty veil or wait for the battle to end to be reunited.

Tamashi was still falling when all of a sudden bullets of water were shot toward him. He had no way of knowing besides the sound they made, but that wasn't much to go on. The first bullet hit him square in the chest, knocking him back and causing his breath to come out in ragged gasps. Another bullet came zooming toward his clone, hitting the clone and dispersing it.

Gripping his sword tight, he prepared himself for the next two to come. He sliced the next bullet in two, but the impact jarred his arms and threw him back even more. He growled in frustration. He was so close to the ground. An idea suddenly formed in his head. When the next bullet of water came, he positioned himself so that when it hit his sword it forced him to the ground even quicker. He landed on the ground, rolling to his feet. He was panting. The impact from those bullets made it difficult for him to catch his breath. "That was a nice move there," he complimented Shinji.

Tamashi Chakra: 95/120

As he heard the thud of the young Senju hit the ground, Shinji's body produced goosebumps. He was ashamed for having hit the boy with such an attack and again he found himself hating the violence that was necessary in the ninja world. His ears perked up as he received the compliment, he was relieved that Tamashi wasn't as battered up as he had imagined. Then before gripping Samehada, he found himself ready to press his mental training to the next level. He was pushing his comfort zone hard today, but figured the more he pushes, the quicker he will get used to the burdens he would bear in the future. He sighed while he formed two quick handseals in an already unnoticeable blur. This would summon a large drop of water, composed of all of the mist in the area, over Tamashi, until it would plainly create a cascading stream of water over his frame. This would press the boys exhausted body down, while he performed his next jutsu.

With another two handseals the water around Tamashi, would firmly encompass his body excluding his head. The grip would be to the point the boy wouldn't be able to move his limbs or even turn his child like cranium. Then Shinji, who would have a look of pity and discomfort on his face, would slowly began tightening his hold on the boy's body. He still wasn't to happy with violence, so even if he needed to, Shinji would hardly be able to press himself to break bones. He would only squeeze until the boy's body looked like it was on the verge of losing consciousness. That would be both Shinji's and Tamashi's point, because Shinji was not only running low on Chakra, but his stomach was making him very uncomfortable.

Tamashi forced himself to stand up, but he could tell the effort was exhausting himself even more.  Taking a deep breath, he calmed his racing heart and glared at the mist before him.  He had to figure out how to disrupt it, but he did not know how.  At least not with the current jutsus that he knew.  Trying to figure out where Shinji was at, he realized that that the teen would have went to where his precious Samehada had landed and Tamashi knew just where that was.

Deciding to just dive head first, Tamashi gathered power to prepare his attack when he suddenly saw a dark shadow overhead.  Looking up, there was a massive amount of water forming over him and it looked as though it may drop. He also noted that the water seemed to form from the mist because the mist was steadily clearing up as the water above grew bigger.  Becoming desperate, he formed the clone hand sign and created a shadow clone.  The clone gripped Tamashi and before the water could land on him, threw him toward the location of the teen.  Tamashi flew toward Shinji's location at blinding speed.  The clone was crushed by the large body of water.  Tamashi gripped his sword, not knowing about the second jutsu being cast by the teen.

Suddenly a giant watery hand grabbed his leg from behind. Glancing back, he saw that the teen had apparently casted a second jutsu. He performed the clone sign once more and created a clone. The real Tamashi cut through the hand with his sword and as he did so the clone grabbed both his legs and began to spin rapidly. The clone released Tamashi with perfect timing and precision, launching Tamashi straight toward the teen once more with this time being faster than before due to the increased momentum.  As he approached him, Tamashi would make a tight, but powerful diagonal slash across the teen's chest.  The slash wouldn't be deep because Tamashi did not want to seriously hurt the boy.  Just enough to create a cut that would bleed and the force would knock him back.  

Should the slash connect and the boy knocked back, Tamashi would follow up with a Leaf Whirlwind.

Jutsus Used:

Shinji saw the Senju have a second wind and this was one filled with determination and a drive to not be defeated. Shit Shinji said as the boy charged him without a worry in the world. Little did he know was that he should be worrying . . . and so should Shinji. Tamashi was about to be gripped by his aquatic grip, right when he formed another clone. Performing the same maneuver as before, Shinji complimented the Senju. What less to expect from a Senju? Shinji thought. With Tamashi's hand on his blade, Shinji knew what was coming next. A slash from the cool steel would easily find itself upon Shinji's chest. He closed his eyes and accepted the blow . . . until poof.

A simple substitution jutsu, that Shinji could easily deploy from the Senju's obviously upfront attack. Sadly it couldn't be helped though, while Tamashi was tangling with Shinji's Kraken's Grip Jutsu, Shinji had more than enough time and was incognito for the amount of time he needed. And with that Shinji and Samehada, would be replaced with a splash of water, it the middle of the whirlwind attack. Having already seen Tamashi execute the taijutsu, Shinji also knew he had enough time, to put forth his last effort.

Grabbing the demon blade, Samehada, one last time for the battle, Shinji went for hella wide sweep. With the Senju being in mid attack, he would have little luck avoiding, definitely from the momentum the attack tended to use for an advantage. This would bash the kid and send him a moderate distance to his left, suffering intriguing wounds from the unique Sharkskin blade. But more importantly, he would find his chakra pools completely siphoned into the Samehada.

Tamashi was not surprised that he was unable to hit his opponent. The time between him dealing with that water hand and attacking Shinji was just enough for him to execute a substitution jutsu. He noticed the giant sword coming at him too late and was unable to dodge it. The giant sharkskin covered blade smashed into him, shredding into his arm and side as it threw him about 15 feet away and siphoned off the rest of his chakra.

Tamashi lied in the ground, bloody, exhausted, and defeated. His sword had fallen to the ground as he was unable to grip it. He couldn't even manage to move a finger. In a whispered voice, he stated with satisfaction, "That was quite enjoyable. Thanks."

Immediately with the impact of the blade, he felt the sword repay him for his many efforts. He was still tired physical, but his chakra pools felt a little better, as Samehada slowly began to pump chakra from the Senju into him. He fiercely tightened his grip on the blade stopping the process. Wait he needs some to. Shinji approached Tamashi's limp frame and rested Samehada over the boy's body. He then equally distributed the chakra Samehada had stolen between him and Tamashi. He hope the boy would perk up soon, so he could have a word with him, not only regarding the bout, but about future plans.

Tamashi felt an added weight being pressed on his body. His eyes barely opened, but he was able to see Shinji placing Samehada on him. Suddenly, he could feel his chakra pools filling up. It wasn't a lot, but it was enough for him to be able to sit up. He realized that Shinji had shared some of Samehada's chakra with him. "Thanks," Tamashi told Shinji for what he did.

Shinji placed Samehada on his back and plopped down into the grass. His body was tired, though he suffered no injuries from the battle. His nerves were also a little shocked, due to his recent issues he had come across.

Anyhow painting a smile along his face, Shinji didn't know what to really say. The fight was over, but Shinji knew just getting up and walking off would be awkward. You're a great fighter, you basically would have had me with that last combination. He chuckled nervously, forcing conversation.

Tamashi stared up into the sky as he propped himself up onto his hands. This fight with Shinji showed him that he had a lot more to learn. He was not where he thought he was skill wise. He heard Shinji, but took a moment before replying. "You were pretty good yourself. A lot better than me," Tamashi said.

Shinji's face contorted at the young Senju's words. Sure Shinji had one the battle, but the glory belonged to Samehada. Shinji would not have stood a chance without the greedy bastard. [color=#663399]Haha nah, I only one because of Samehada, I would have gotten stomped.[color] Shinji replayed the scenario in his mind, but without the sharkskin to lead him to victory. He knew he still needed a lot more training, and needed to be sure not to lean on the blade too much. Mind keeping it a secret though? Having this sword would make a lot of people want to kill me, even Kiri-nin probably. He sighed as he remembered the events that had been transpiring. The Mizukage committing suicide and this new fellow stepping into his seat. He was totaling changing the whole dynamics of the village, Shinji wasn't sure it was for the best though. Yeah the village was kind of already carrying the Bloody Mist curse, but things now could either take a hard left or right. What do you think it's like outside of the village Tamashi? Shinji blatantly asked, he didn't care if this made the kid think of him as a possible traitor, he just wanted an honest opinion.

Tamashi sighed as he went to stand up.  He stretched his body.  A lot of tension had built up and cracking it was the best way to get it out.  He picked up his fallen sword before turning back toward Shinji.  "Don't worry.  Your secret is safe with me," he assured the teen.  He replaced his sword back on his back then took a deep breath before saying the next part.  "I just want to let you know that I have been thinking about that.  In fact, I plan to leave within a few days.  I know longer want to stay here. You are welcome to follow me, but I will not force you." With that, Tamashi left Shinji and went back into the village.

Shinji's face grew a suprised expression, why would such a young Genin be inclined on leaving his village. A Senju at that, Shinji had always saw them as the embodiment of purity, but he should have known better. To follow or not to follow, Shinji was going to leave anyhow, so company couldn't hurt him. Right behind ya yo. Shinji jogged a couple paces to catch up and follow Tamashi, he then wondered if Tamashi was one of the people Shinji was destined to meet. One of the people that would push Shinji toward his goal of purifying first this village then the world. He wasn't sure, but for now this was the best he had.
