Loyalty Is Earned, Not Given [Sage]

Dordonii still had his palm right on his face. He buried his face within his palm, shaking his head. He still couldn't get Tamashi's casual defeat by Moyasu's hands. He had been there and witnessed it all. And now the Raikage wants him to see what potential the boy has that he sapped too early. Dordonii was here on more important matters. The Raikage had just taken the throne, but he had not secured it. IT was Dordonii's duty as a ninja and as a friend to put out the mob that was already in root that may come. Nasty rumors had come about about the Raikage. Nothing in the press, but certainly word of mouth got around quickly. There was even talk of a group of armed men who planned to stage a public stunt defying the Raikage's will.

Dordonii wanted to do this in order to keep the village sane and united. The monk waited for Tamashi, who is now enlisted in Kumogakure. He was at the bottom field of Kumogakure, because word is that the group was hiding out in a shed on a farm. "But...but....but why??!!!"

Tamashi left the hospital in deep thought. He was still perturbed about his entire defeat at the hands of the Raikage. He just could not understand how he did not remember much of the fight. Everything felt so unreal now. As he thought more about this, digging deep into the knowledge that he knew about jutsus and such, he came to the realization that he was most likely under a Genjutsu. It would explain the massive headache he had when he had awoken. Shrugging his shoulders, he dropped the thought and continued onward toward his destination.

He had been given word from Dordonii to come and meet him down at the lower parts of Kumogakure. Apparently there were fields there, but the fields were always being ravaged by lightning storms. Increasing his pace, Tamashi practically ran toward the meeting place. It felt good to be able to stretch his legs once more, to feel the wind whipping through his hair.

Tamashi quickly arrived at the destination, slightly out of breath. He straightened up and searched for Dordonii. Spotting him a few feet away, he made his way over toward him. "Dordonii I'm here," Tamashi said in a rather monotone voice. The 10 year old kept his guard up because anything was able to happen and he had learned from experience that letting your guard down could end in your own downfall.

Dordonii heared footsteps approaching and immediately got into a meditative stance. He concentrated hard, forcing and exaggeratting his posture. 'Shhhhhhhhhh!" hissed Dordonii. "Quiet, Tamashi". he said. Dordonii waited for a good three minutes to get him into a deep state of concentration. This deep would avail him in battling enemies. Although he doubt that any one of his enemies are so strong that he cannot casually fodderize them. He got up, his palms still connected with each other. "Let's go, little Senju. You have healed, yes?" They walked towards the direction of the farm, which is on the other side of the forest.

After the thirty minute walk, they would arrive there. Dordonii scouted behind a tree. He saw plain grassland and fertilized soil. There were plants growing. A watermelon even. There was a barn and a farm house. The owners were probably inside. Where was the shed?

Tamashi approached the Jounin level ninja quietly. His harsh words did not breach Tamashi's demeanor. He understood the reasoning behind the shushing. They had to be quiet because it was obvious that they were tracking people. Tamashi hopped from foot to foot as he became more and more anxious. Lightning crackled and boomed overhead. He was not afraid of the lightning, but an idea formed in his head. Smirking, he waited for V to finish his meditating. As the Jouning began to get up, Tamashi hopped onto his back, clinging tightly so that Dordonii would know that he was not getting off. "Ready whenever you are Dordy," the 10 year old exclaimed in a sing song voice. He was bored and felt like playing around. Secretly, his senses and guard was highly alerted and not much would escape his razor sharp attention.

Dordonii's face turned into a funny, eye-squinting visage as Tamashi remained on his back. A big, blue-colored bead of sweat appeared on his forehead, and stayed there for an abnormally long amount of time. When they finally got there, Dordonii scanned the field with the boy on his back. The shed must be behind the farm..... does that mean the owners are part of the conspiracy? Perhaps they need to be.....corrected as well. he pondered. Dordonii violently shook his hand, in the process shaking Tamashi off as well. Such thoughts were impure and very uncharacteristic of him.

Dordonii looked back at Tamashi. He scratched his head. "Enemies are nowhere to be seen. Hideout is nowhere to be seen. Tamashi, I think we oughta be heading back now." He wanted to test this boy.

Tamashi noticed the small strain placed of Dordonii as he carried him forward, across the field. Along with the Jounin, Tamashi scanned the area as well. He took in the details around him, noting the placement of the farm buildings and vegetation. Suddenly, he was shaken from his spot on Dordonii's back. Tamashi fell backward, landing hard on his back. Not wasting any time, he quickly leaped onto his feet, glaring at Dordonii while doing so.

Giving the farm another scan, he noticed that there was no visible barn. He wondered if Dordonii had spotted this rather seemingly small detail. He knew that most if not all farms had a barn, but this farm having not one in sight was rather perturbing. He heard Dordonii's statement, but something just did not feel right. His combat senses were going off on high alert, telling him that something was wrong. He glanced over at Dordonii before saying, "I think you are wrong Dordonii. It would appear that there are no enemies, but appearances can be deceiving. I think that there are a few options here: 1) they have cloaked themselves somehow, 2) they are hidden behind the farmhouse, or 3) they are hiding in the farmhouse."

Dordonii rubbed his chin, as if he were thinking of something deeply when really he was just messing around with the boy. "No no no my dear boy, I think YOU are wrong here. As you can see, if they were hiding in the farmhouse, they'd be exposed at one point. No criminal plotting treason is going to walk around when there are so many windows on that house. Too much vantage points. Next, we have an underground basement. But if that is the case, then there is only one escape route; and that's back up. Criminals always have two escape routes". This was driven from his previous experience for getting into trouble in the Temple and his rough, ghetto childhood in the earlier days of Kumogakure.

"So ooobbvviouslyyyy, the rumors were false or we had unreliable information". Dordonii then circled around the ring of trees around to the back of the farm house and barn to see if there was a shed. He moved as silently as possible, although with his bulk, he couldn't help but rustle some leaves. He saw a rather large shed-house 20 meters behind the house. No one seemed to be in sight. There may be traps or lookouts waiting to ambush them. Dordonii glared at the shed-house. There were three doors for some reason as well as what somewhat looked like a hatch on top of the roof. Hmmm..... after the boy figures out what's really going on here and knows what to do, I'm gonna let him take this mission. If he fails, then oh well. The guy must suck.

Tamashi watched Dordonii for a moment. A small smirk dancing across the young boy's face. It was brief and barely noticeable as the action was not something the boy was used to. Listening to Dordonii's evident mockery and attempt to point out the flaws in Tamashi's reasoning was rather amusing to the 10 year old.

After it was evident the Kumogakure Jounin had finished his escapade, Tamashi stated a simple question that could be taken either way by the Jounin, "Ya know, it sounds like you have had some personal experience with situations like this?" Allowing the question to linger in the air, Tamashi followed after Dordonii. It took more effort on his part to keep up due to his shorter legs and the thick foliage around him. However, he was able to move about more quietly than Dordonii was capable of.

Peering through the foliage, Tamashi was able to see the large shed some 20 meters away. He figured Dordonii also saw the same shed. It was kinda hard to miss unless you were just that blind. Taking note of the entrances and exits, three doors and a roof hatch, Tamashi began to think that they may have just found what they have been looking for.

Making a sideways glance over at Dordonii, he quickly darted out of the foliage and using his speed and small size he kept to the shadows as he zig-zagged about toward the shed. He was able to keep himself in stealth as he made his way to the shed. He did not bother to look back at Dordonii, because he knew that the man was more capable then he himself was. Allowing chakra to form on his feet and hands, Tamashi quietly climbed the side of the building using hands and feet. It was a quick climb with any sound muffled due to the crackling of the lightning overhead. Flipping over and onto the top of the roof, Tamashi made his approach toward the hatch on the roof. Only then did he allow himself to scan the area for Dordonii.

Dordonii admired the zig-zag velocity that Tamashi demonstrated. It did not avail him against the Raikage, but it sure was something to be commended from a stationary observer at a distance away in a much more.... minor situation. His pulse increased slightly as he tracked Tamashi approaching the shed. There could be a trap. An ambush. An explosive that could cripple Tamashi for life. And it would be his fault. Dordonii nearly jumped from his position when he saw Tamashi walking on the side of the shed. He could have given himself away, but yet nothing in the shed stirred.

The monk scratched his scraggly hair. "Alright then" he mumbled. He didn't even have to use any particular techniques. Dordonii simply power-walked towards the shed. In ten seconds, he approached where the front door was. Tamashi was in position. Dordonii held his hand out to where the door handle was. He opened it.


Flinging the door open, Dordonii peaked his body inside of the shed room. He was nobody. There was an assembly of chairs and desks, so there was obviously a meeting. Then, there was a very detectable running sound and that's when Dordonii looked up. He saw three men already climbing the ladder to the hatch. "Pffff....... damn kids," he said. The monk jumped towards them to try to see if he can bring one or two of them back down.......

The seven men who had already climbed out of the hatch to the top roof of the shed saw Tamashi standing there. "Shitty Kumogakure ninja...... don't matter if you found out about us if we can silence you..." all seven of them said, their voices synchronizing and echoing like a boy's choir. Armed with pikes and spears, five of them charged towards Tamashi with bloodlusted mindsets from different angles, aiming for a death blow to the chest.

Tamashi found Dordonii's laid back demeanor and take on the situation rather perplexing. He figured that this person would be running up and down to find the people who were going out of their way to show their dislike in the current Raikage. Shrugging his shoulders, Tamashi dropped the thought. Everybody was entitled to their own way about things.

Hearing a sound coming from the inside, Tamashi peered over the hatch to see what all the commotion was about. He saw the stampede of criminals rushing up the ladder leading to Tamashi's current location. Sighing, the young Senju took a few steps back, allowing them to exit the hatch. He took note of their obvious surprise with seeing him their.

Smirking, Tamashi released his sword from its sheath on his back. He brandished it out to the side, the red blade caught the moonlight, giving the sword with its ethereal glow the appearance of something demonic. The criminals charged toward Tamashi with nothing but pikes and spears. The little sticks were nothing for a weapon like Tamashi's. Dashing forward at Taijutsu basic speeds, he leapt into the air, twisting his body so he was upside down, at the last moment. Spinning his body and making a quick slash, he cut the weapons of the criminals in half, the sharp ends clanking to the ground as they became practically useless.

Landing gracefully, on his feet, behind them. Tamashi wasted not a moment as he twisted his body once more to increase the momentum and subsequently the power behind his next attack. He slashed at the backs of the men. Wide gashes appeared on the three in the middle, sending them crashing onto the roof. The remaining four men stared down at their fallen comrades. The confusion was evident in their eyes. Hesitation and fear slowed their reactions and movement.

Using this to his advantage, Tamashi appeared behind each one, slashing across their backs. Blood gushed from the open wounds, landing on Tamashi and his sword. The men all went down, blood still pouring out from the wounds. Tamashi looked up into the moon, a savage grin on his face. With the red eyes, sword, blood, white hair, and black clothing, he looked like a demon.

Dordonii bursted forward and grabbed one of the escaping man by the shoulders. His grip cracked his shoulder bone.  "How ya doin', man?" he said, right before he violently tossed him aside to the side of the shed. He kicked the ladder away, sending the two other man plunging down which he swiftly dealt with by simply launching a kick towards each of their backs. And the rest he left to gravity. Dordonii squated all the way down and leaped up with superhuman agility, just grabbing onto to the hatch hole with his figners right after Tamashi dealt with the last of the culprits. Dordonii made his way up, only to see an ecstatic Tamashi.

Did he just..... oh dear, boys these days. Dordonii ridiculed, shaking his head. Orgasms while in battle. How blasphemous. Had he had his sacraments and book, Dordonii would purify the sinful monstrosity before him. Just like he did back in the Temple. But here, he could not touch a special guest.

Dordonii looked back down at the half-dead men. Tamashi clearly overdid it. Dordonii would have to take them back to the hospital and leave it to the authorities to interrogate them. Dordonii sighed.


"Hurry up, boy". He needed help taking these men back.

Tamashi exited his blood-lust state. He surveyed the area and realized that he may have went a bit too far. Hearing a sound from behind, he turned to see Dordonii leaping from the hatch on the roof. The muscled jonin took in what Tamashi had done. Tamashi closed his eyes as he flicked the blood off his sword. Sliding the demonic blade back into its sheath on his back, Tamashi released a deep breath and opened his eyes once more. Don't forget to say please. It'll get you a lot farther in life," Tamashi mocked back to the man. He helped the bigger fellow with gathering the men to have them taken back to the city.

[Exit]
