Looks Description: Sandayu has spiky red hair that flows down. He has light-green eyes. He is typically seen with an energetic smile. He's typically dressed in a formal Konohagakure uniform while on duty. He seems to be relatively fit and wears his headband on his forehead. On other occassions, Sandayu wears a green jacket with a white collor on him and black ninja leggings to boot.
Personality Description: Sandayu is a very energetic and fun-going person. He enjoys back-breaking excercises and training ninjutsu. He is usually in the center of crowds and loves to talk. Sandayu tends to show his spirit by jumping multiple times and shouting "Let's Go!" or "Hurry Up!" when activities are coming up. Sometimes, he wanders around places that he dubs as "fun" and spends his time watching what's going on in that area. His sense of wonder leads him to ditch his Academy classes several times for more interesting things and gets scowled by his teachers the next time he gets back. Sandayu has a high motivation for the things he wants to do, such as playing with his neighbor's dog or practicing his ninjutsu techniques. However, Sandayu has a rather strong will that cannot be easily exploited just because of his personal interests. He is completely aware of the fact that there are thigns he should do and shouldn't do, even ifa t times he dosen't live up to that. His strive and goals made him struggle but it was all worth it when he accomplished his goal.
Sandayu always stays strong and positive even when things are at the grimmest. He dosen't allow others' negative opinions to influence his goals and always plans ahead. Being of the Sarutobi clan, he is a strong devotee to the Will of Fire and acknowledges everyone in the village his entire family. He highly revers Sandaime Hokage and wants to be as famous as him, earning the nickname "God of Shinobi" instead of "The Monkey Kid." That alias refers to Sandayu's annoying personality and behavoir in the Shinobi Academy. He loves to mock people and make fun of them, knowing no limits unless that person is in huge pain or emotional distress. He is known for making monkey noises when he plays around with other students. Sometimes, he gets out of control when he makes a miraculous win. Along with his playfulness, he is most known for copying movements or body styles that occur to him as significant or funny. He mimics the way people talks, the way they walk/move, the way they throw, the way they jump, etc. Sandayu is a keen observer, as evidenced for him to copy other people's behavoir. Courageous, considerate, and cunning, the thing Sandayu likes the most is his on-going journey on living as a ninja in the SHinobi World.

Childhood Arc:
Sandayu Sarutobi was born in the Sarutobi clan household by Saizo Sarutobi and Amaya Sarutobi. He was named after a Konohagakure genius. During the early days of his life, nothing much had been expected of Sandayu. The clan elders did not expect him to be a ninja disgrace nor a ninja legend; although, his father had strong hopes. However, Sandayu has displayed a few remarkable hints that suggests a great future. At four months old, Sandayu learned how to walk at four months old - a feat that bested Sasuke Sarutobi's own record. At six months, he learned how to talk and can speak a few sentences. At one year old, he was able to read short stories. And when Sandayu was three, he learned how to write. Even so, it didn't do much to perculiar the interests of higher authorities. And when his father had been called to take on a five-year compaign, Sandayu did not communicate with his father alot. Amaya was the only one who took care of her spoiled, brash, and spoiled child. Every night, Sandayu's mother would read to him his most favorite novel, "The Legend of Sun Gokū". The novel tells of a Monkey King born from an egg on the Mountain of Fruits and Flowers who wanted to find immortality. Sandayu was inspired and interested in the King's daring acts and mocking behavoir to his immense strength, speed, and mythical powers. The Monkey King's adventures and battles gave Sandayu the motive to want to be as strong as Sun Gokū, despite it being a fictional character. And in order to accomplish his goal, he knew what he needed to do. He must follow the Path of the Ninja.
Academy Arc:
At age 7, Sandayu Sarutobi enrolled in Konohagakure's Ninja Academy. In order for him to be equivalent to Son Goku, Sandayu had to gain the respect of his clan authorities. Recognition is the first step to ascension. So to do that, he had to study considerably hard and work his body to the limits. As a member of the Sarutobi clan, Sandayu believed that he will be able to graduate from the Academy in less than five years and become a shinobi. He learned about the basic ninja skills and shinobi battle tools. Aside from that, he also gained knowledge of living skills and basic survival equipment. He befriended Michio Hatake. Their relationship was off and weird when the two had to compete against each other to get a certain Waraji girl to like him, but then the girl moved from the village and the two of them had settled down. Sandayu then learned about "chakra" and before knowing how to manipulate it, he must understand it. The textbooks did not give Sandayu a clear idea, so Michio had invited Sandayu over to his house and read the Hatake Guide which explained the existence and components of chakra. At the age of 8, Sandayu could access and utilize his chakra. At home, Sandayu worked on improving his own body to prepare for his shinobi adventure before officially becoming one. He done physical excercises from push-ups and sit-ups to running a mile and lifting weights. For every hour he reached his limit and formed a puddle of sweat from back-breaking work, Sandayu could feel his legs getting faster and his arms getting stronger. But surely his muscles would not be enough. During a history lesson in class, Sandayu learned about the past Hokages and the current one. He especially grew curious in the Third Hokage, who had been known of his heroic deeds and outstanding battle prowess. He researched about the Third and found out some interesting facts about Hiruzen Sarutobi. His father was Sasuke Sarutobi, a famous ninja who can compare with his son's own abilities, and his grandson was Konohamaru Sarutobi, a great ninja who lived during the Fourth Great Ninja World War. Clearly he had ancestors who were the pride of the Leaf. But after consulting with his mother, he learned that the Third had a companion by the name of "Enma." Enma was the King of Monkeys. At the mention of that, Sandayu knew he had to meet this Enma. But to do this, he must be worthy. At that point, Sandayu formed another goal that will help him reach his final. In addition to Sasuke and Konohamaru, he must surpass Hiruzen Sarutobi.
The Development of a Legend: The Pre-Legend:
At the age of 9, Sandayu attained impressive speed and agility. One day he and a group of friends walked to the Taisho Bridge to scale the beautiful lake right below it. Hayamazuda, a very reckless classmate of Sandayu's, decided to go for more better things and so left the group. Sandayu, Michio, and three other friends followed him. Hayamazuda ventured near Mount. Sukimi and nodded at the rather tall mountain. Testing how great his chakra control is, he decided to climb the mountain using only hands and feet. And should he fall, he will rely on Michio to save him. However, Hayamazuda climbed several meters further than what Michio expected to be his "catch limit" and admitted that he will not be able to rescue Hayamazuda if he falls. Sandayu researched about the areas around Teisho Bridge beforeahnd including Mount. Sukimi. There was a very slippery edge not far from where Hayamazuda was and unless he had the Doton element or had a metal tool like a kunai or a wakizashi, the climber will fall. Knowing that, he and his friends shouted at Hayamazuda to 'Come back!" and "Get down here you idiot!" and finally "If you go up any further you will die!" But Hayamazuda ignored them and kept on going. having no other choice, Sandayu quickly ran up the mountain and climbed far enough so he and Hayamazuda are in range using the "Walking on Tree" technique. Despite how far he is from his friends, he just kept on going. Finally, he told Hayamazuda that there's a slippery surface above him and he needs to climb down now. But Hayamazuda just thought that Sandayu was jealous of how far Hayamazuda can go and told him to lay off and he kept on climbing away from Sandayu and further up. Before he found the use to chase after him, Hayamazuda touched a very wet rock and slipped.
He lost balance and fell down, The bystanders were shocked and the only possible person who can save him are Michio and Hatake. But Michio dosen't believe he can catch Hayamazuda from the altitude he was in right now, so it was up to the person closest to him to do the job. Although he is no hero, his agility will avail him but will he be able to make the jumps far enough to catch him. Bending his knees, Sandayu pushed off as hard as he can with fierce determination to save the life of a friend. Surprisingly, Sandayu jumped very far and it would only took a good leap to finish it. Sandayu somersaulted without thinking and when he landed, Hayamazuda was right next to him. He then made another jump, except he jumped below. Descending towards the falling target, Sandayu balanced himself to the side of the mountain and caught Hayamazuda by the leg, who was just ten meters from having his head split in half. There was silence for a moment, and then a loud applause and cheer. Sandayu didn't realize what the commotion was about until he looked down at Hayamazuda's face. He had saved a life. Perhaps he won't be a Sarutobi failure. But at least he knew that his jumping power will be an excellent addition to his prowess. But what Sandayu didn't know was that the moment is a representation of the birth. The birth of the Monkey King that hatched out of an egg on a mountain. A citizen gazed upon Sandayu and said "Wow, that kid moved like a monkey!" Sandayu's ears caught that and he finally founded a nice little title for himself. The Monkey Kid.
Graduation/Genin Arc:
Nearing graduation day, Sandayu seemed to have developed a small reputation after the incident at Mount Sukimi. After adopting the nickname, he decided to spread it around the village to make him more reknown - starting with the Academy. Everywhere he went, he could be mocking, teasing, or imitating the noises of monkeys. The most notable trait is his ability to mimic another's body movements if they "stick out" after a long period of observation. He annoyed the girls and seemed to be marked as the class clown by the boys. Some thought of it as funny, some thought of it as tiresome. Sandayu avoided trouble as he had the situation under control. Two weeks before the day of graduation, 'The Monkey Kid" became Sandayu's nickname around the Ninja Academy. Sandayu graduated from the Academy at the age of ten. He recieved the highest grades on his Ninjutsu - having be able to utilize basic techniques and properly control chakra to Genin-level enough to make it to shinobi status, next be his Taijutsu - for possessing impressive jumping ability and above-average agility, and the last would be his high confidence. He was considered "second", and was bested by his friend, Michio Hatake. He became part of a three-man cell and had to pass a very difficult task with their Jounin in order to become Genin. Three minutes before they would be sent back to the Academy, Sandayu and Watashi Garaki cracked the "code" and handed the final action to Michio. They were then promoted to Genin and listed as official ninja.
However, Sandayu's moments with a squad and Jounin came to a long delay when a transfer of deadly foreign epidemics from Kusagakure entered Konohagakure. This invisible invasion became known as the Izabushi Viral Exchange. One of these dieseases caught up to Sandayu's sensei and in just two weeks, his life ended. The medical nins and study doctors were working hard to developing an immunity to these foreign dieseases and to make a counter that will eradicate it, but many citizens and ninja were dying from it. During this time, Sandayu's father returned to Konoha after six years and finally completed his mission to eliminate one of Konoha and the Land of Fire's most biggst threats and to boost up the economy. However, Saizo Sarutobi quickly caught one of the diesease and had to be bedridden. And to make matters worse, Michio Hatake also had seriously fallen ill and had to be bedridden under severe conditions. Family, friends, and teachers seem to be dissapearing from him. Every day, Sandayu would visit Michio and see a decrippled young boy. Michio had high fever and has severe coughing. Though Michio already knew that. He would tell Sandayu to not worry and should he die, he would leave his heart behind to him. At the thought of that, Sandayu knew that Michio is not going to live through this. Since he nor any of the other Sarutobi clan members were infected (meaning Saizo''s condition was able to be contained], Sandayu had to continue his life as shinobi through solo training during the period of this infection. Through hard work and training, Sandayu discovered and utilized the Fire element. One Sarutobi Jounin assisted Sandayu with his Ninjutsu training and taught him several techniques including Shadow Shuriken, Haze Clone, and Manipulated Shuriken Technique, Release, and the Great Fireball technique. Although Sandayu is excited about his ninja adventure, he is aware that there's still that high chance he might die as one. To lower that chance, he balanced Chakra/Ninjutsu and Stamina/Taijutsu and instead of spending all of his time perfecting his chakra control and Ninjutsu use, he improved his jumping ability.
With the help of the clan member, he was able to keep going forward, maintain being strong, and increased his ability as a warrior. By the time Sandayu reached age 11, his Ninjutsu knowledge had been increased and sharpened greatly. A fighter. Plus, the medic ninjs have finally developed an immunity against most of the Izabushi dieseases. So there was hope for Michio after all, but it might be too late. Doctors have yet to be able to counter the effects of Michio's diesease, but with long-term research and a bit of luck, they should be able to it. Sandayu's body has grown strong, but Michio's own physical state is under extremely poor conditions. He can no longer walk properly and cannot leave three meters from his body. He had to be fed pills every night to delay any major damage, looked very, very pale, and can only whisper in order to communicate. The thoughts of death to a close friend is something Sandayu cannot bear. Michio can no longer accompany him. At age 12, vaccines and immunities have been developed that the threat level of the diesease invasion has been lowered by nearly 90% and there has been tremendous progress on Michio's condition. As Sandayu continued researching and working out, he waited for a new Genin squad for him to be assigned to so he can go on missions and such. Though his mother says that the missions Genin get these days are grunt work and have little fun. A new light has illuminated to Sandayu's loneliness as well. Saizo Sarutobi has been vaccinated and the immunity completely countered and eradicated the diesease within him, thus his father has fully recovered! Before they would go on training, Sandayu promised his father that he would help him build a training dojo within the clan headquarters so the Sarutobi can practice and spar there. The news of adventure also strengthend Sandayu's positivity and resolution. There were things to be done and goals to be reached. But at last, he has found a route out of his nightmare and onto a new road - his family is back together again.
