Shinsei walked towards the training ground thinking about this new development. It seems that the Kazekage had deemed it worthy for him to start having his own team. Team. That word was such a foreign word to him in all aspects. Ever since becoming Chuunin, he had drifted away from his former team and even until now, he had not even seen hide nor hair of them. It wasn't to say that Shinsei didn't like being in teams, no. Shinsei just liked to work alone, often during his solo missions.

The Jounin arrived in the training ground early. He had plans to hide and watch his new student, to gauge his reactions. In truth he was little bit excited about this placement, just a little. His lifestyle would be different starting now since now, he had to train and do missions with the kid, instead of doing everything by his own. Of course, that is not to say that he will be doing chore missions like the other Genin Teams do. No, he was going to have this student of his learn how to be a true shinobi.

Leaping towards a tree, he crouched and waited.

Suna, the bright sun, the intense heat and the sand that got in between his sandals and burned his feet as it shifted around in his sandal. The sand wasn't as loose inside the village as on the outside but even this sand corroded due to all of the walking people had done on it making the top layer loose and less compact. Days like these reminded Teiji of how life was when he was alone, when he didn't have people to help him get better nor people that actually wanted him to succeed, and today he would be meeting a person who would most likely want that for him. It wouldn't be easy for Teiji to get close to this man or pit his guard down around him as the last time the Genin had done that the man had died and he had to watch. The emotional agony he had been under for days weeks even, not eating not drinking just sitting, idle, it was a wonder he survived and was even here now. But those days were past and new days were amongst the young Genin, today being one of those days, a day to meet his new sensei. It should be a joyous day, a day to remember so while walking he would stiffen up and clear his nose so he didn't like emotional when he met his sensei.

Teiji had on his usual outfit of his black and yellow trimmed robe with its high collar, he wore his headband loosely around his neck, he had on his black sandals and his assorted tools carried in his pockets. He had pondered before he left bringing his katana with him but quickly changed his mind as this should only be a quick meeting, but perhaps his sensei would test him in some way shape or form. Teiji walked toward a pretty distinctive landmark, a tree, something that one wouldn't usually find in Suna and if it was found it would probably have been found in the Greenhouses or something not in the training grounds. The reason it wasn't ideal for a sole tree to flourish in Suna was the heat and definitely the lack of natural water. The only way this tree could possibly have even been a sapling was somebody had taken really good damn care of providing it with water and for years even. Although the tree wasn't massive it was a decent sized tree and trees took years grow even to just noticeable sizes.

Now he was told to meet his sensei at the training ground and that's just where he was waiting underneath the tree that he had no idea his sensei was in due to his lack of awareness. Awareness something a shinobi needed and was probably essential, but sadly Teiji lacked awareness, he seemed to miss simple things and was it his fault, no but his problem yes. So Teiji would go over and lean on said tree not only for its shade and the lack of strain it would yield on his legs but also because he felt more at home when around trees and greenery. He was a Senju after all but when he thought about it, a Senju in Suna it sounded like the beginning to a bad joke, like it just didn't go together. One day though the young Genin would make an area, a forest area or something just for him, or perhaps he would make his own tree, but whatever he did hopefully he would be stronger and able at that time.

(Decided to just post I doubt they will void it or whatever for my updates not being approved it won't really affect anything)

Shinsei saw his would-be student coming towards the Training Ground before eyeing him closely. The report he got was that this particular shinobi of his is of Senju blood. Great, another bloodline from Konohagakure. Shinsei knew that this young man had allot of potential, just by his surname alone. If the kid had already unlocked at least a portion of his Mokuton abilities, then this team would evolve quickly into a partnership of two great shinobis.

Shaking his head, he leapt down from his position to tap the kid on the shoulders. He seemed tall enough, albeit older than what he expected. In his time, a kid like this boy in front of him would be already a Chuunin, if not more. But, Shinsei would not think about that now. If this kid was to survive his mentorship, he wold be at least Chuunin, if not Jounin level in two years, if not less. That was what the Kazekage had hoped for him to do, to train this Senju of Sunagakure and make him one of the best, if not the best.

Nodding his head at the kid, he said, "Follow me." before leaping away further into the training ground. If this kid was worth training, he would be able to catch up at Shinsei's minimum speed. If he can't, well he'll just suffer the consequences.

Teiji still unaware until he heard a rustle in the leaves above but he dismissed it as a mere animal or something up until the point he was tapped on the shoulder. He turned to see the man whom he assumed to be his sensei, he was sure to keep an emotionless face as he wanted to keep his guard up around the man until he had at least gotten to know him a bit better. The man would simply say "follow me" no introductions, no greetings nothing this was apparently a man who wasted no time getting to business and he had no problem with that. But where they were off to was a mystery. The man leapt away further into the training ground at which point Teiji followed obediently as commanded. His sensei wasn't traveling at any ridiculous speeds but Teiji could tell his sensei was still faster than him and probably had the potential to be way faster. While following his sensei deeper into the training grounds he caught the sense that perhaps there would be a test waiting for him or maybe they were just finding a secluded place to talk, whichever it was Teiji was ready.

(Meh Sorry lazy post)

Shinsei stopped after reaching a certain training gorund that he used to use. Training Ground Nine. The training gorund was much more of a vast expanse, with a wooden pole to practice weapons with. The man knew that most of the scratches on it were done by him, when he was matering his Taijutsu Stle: Jyuuken. He remembered all of the sweat, tears, and blood he shed on this field and it served as a reminder for him that becoming the best is not ever. It never trully is.

Waiting for the young Genin to arrive, Shinsei sat on the wooden pole to wait for the young shinobi. He had allot to teach this boy, more than what Genins would be getting taught of. He was not going to let this boy go out into the world and not know what it trully means to be a shinobi. He would hone the boy, train him, and make him bleed until he knew what he was. He was a shinobi of the Sand, and that will never change.

He had been following his new sensei for a while now and it had been getting hard to keep up as even though it wad obvious his sensei was traveling slower for him the man was obviously still faster than him. After a while his sensei was getting progressively farther from him as the man was faster and then eventually he was out of site. Teiji decided to keep heading in the same direction hoping perhaps he would meet up with his sensei or perhaps find a clue to where he had went. Then he saw a small low wooden sign with the number nine on it most likely signifying the number of what training are la they were in which was apparently training area number nine. Teiji was not out of breath as he had good control over his breathing so as soon as it even began to accelerate he would inhale deeply and exhale long as well. When Teiji finally caught sight of his sensei he was sitting on a wooden pole sitting and waiting as if he had been waiting for hours.

This kind of irritated him because he took it as a sort of taunt like "yea I'm faster than you what, I had time to sit and everything." Of course the man hadn't really said that because if he did shit would get real. But now standing in front of his soon to be sensei 4 meters directly in front of him Teiji would say simply and quickly as not to have prolonged conversation "so what are we here for what are the plans?" Teiji was sure not to be disrespectful and said it in a respectful tone because he had no reason to be disrespectful and often he was said to have a disrespectful tone when he felt that he didn't. There had been plenty of times when he was blamed for this.

Teiji also was pretty sure what the purpose of him being in the training grounds was for, obviously to train. So it was obvious his sensei would be checking out his abilities. If they were going to spar Teiji expected to defeat his sensei if it was one on one and he would try as hard as he could, no holding back, nothing would stop him from proving himself to be more than a decent shinobi, he wanted to be recognized for his abilities and this was the first step in doing so.

Shinsei looked at his new Genin and watched as his face turned into one of determination. It seems this kid knows what it trully means to become a shinobi, but only just. The stance of the boy said that he was ready, but not overly so, which was a mistake that almost every shinobi made. The stance was fine, but the body posture needed to be worked so that any slight movements against him would be easily countered.

The Jounin looked at the boy before putting up his hand and saying, "Stand down, and sit down."

Shinsei wasn't here to test his Genin, no, the Academy did that for him. If the Kazekage deemed this boy worthy of being placed as a solo Genin on his team, then he was sure this boy was special. Looking at the boy, he wondered how strong this one would become. He certainly had potential, as well as the bloodline to become one of the best.

"So, tell me about yourself."

Teiji was rather alarmed when his new sensei told him to stand down and sit down. Had that been apart of the test or something Teiji had no idea how to react so he decided to just obey, why just because. Teiji wasn't the type of person that blindly obeyed but there was a first time.for everything right? Then the Jounin asked the young Genin to tell the Jounin about himself. Teiji wasn't sure exactly who kr what was going to tell his new sensei but he was going to have to come up with a response and fast.

"Well about myself...." Teiji would start, "I'm a Genin obviously, and I don't trust easy" "but what about you its more polite to talk about your self as opposed to jumping straight to me." "In fact what is your name because as of right now neither of us know the others name as.well, my name is Teiji, what's yours.

Shinsei looked at his Genin for a moment before nodding. He was smart, this kid. A shinobi needs to have secrecy, and it was vital for a shinobi to have an advantage over the enemy, or any potential enemy. The Watcher scratched his chin for a moment before obliging the young man, "My name is Shinsei. I am your Jounin from this day onwards. I like Sunagakure. I hate Missing Nins. My goal in life is to protect this village."

Shinsei looked towards the young Genin before gesturing for him to do the same. He was not going to divulge too much, but won't withold any of his intentions either. He specifically told his hate to warn the Genin that if he ever tried to betray the village, Shinsei would be the one coming after him. He was not called The Watcher for no reason. And his moniker was only spurned on by the amount of missing nins he had dispatched for Suna.

Teiji listened as Shinsei had deftly described himself with miniscule details, perhaps he was nervous or maybe he wasn't used to the whole being a sensei thing. In fact it seemed that he didn't even consider himself to be Teiji' sensei as he had addressed himself as Teiji's jounin which was kind of a weird way of putting it. It appeared that he had mentioned his hate of Missing Ninja in an attempt to scare Teiji into not becoming one. The threat left Teiji with no feeling, if anything it was disrespectful to Teiji because this man felt the need to intimidate him like that. In fact if he wanted to defect he damn sure would and not a damn thing would be stopping him from doing so. But Teiji and no intentions to defect, he loved Suna and would serve her faithfully until the day he died probably.

No matter what at heart he would always be a Suna ninja. Shisui had gestured to Teiji but he was kind of confused as to what his new jounin.was expecting of him. Well at least this man was dedicated to his village, an attitude Teiji wished to adopt like his new jounin had.
