Shinsei sped from roof to roof as he started to reach the place that the suspected target of his seemed to be targetting himself. Since finishing the mission that the old Kage gave him as a long term one, he had been staying in the village more and more, while waiting to be reassigned. It seems that his new Kage had not need of his services and yet, and therefore he was going to wait until she has need of it. Trully, he had missed the life of a shinobi that was always out of the village, but he would make do for now. For now.
As he sped on, he had suddenly realized how it was slowly becoming very relazing for him to stay in the village. His missions, although sometimes taking him out of the village, were mostly confined to the borders of the Land of Wind. Truthfully, he had started to enjoy doing the menial works of seasoned Chuunins and Jounins. The missions he had taken were far easier than what he had been taking under the old Kage. Now, though, his missions seemed to be like menial tasks for him. But it definitely had its perks, for one, he still get paid good money. And two, he was starting to get to know the new Sunagakure under this new Kazekage.
Shinsei shook his head from his musings as he dropped from a roof, down towards a building that held priceless artifacts that were guarded only by normal service men, not enough to stop this thief that seemed to have shinobi skills. He knew that this would be easy for him, but at least he would give the thief a head start, just to be fair.
He sat down just across the building before concealing himself behind a trash can. He would wait, for now. Once the thief comes, then he would follow him.
