Bloodline Ability: They use what is called the Scorch Release,which is an advanced chakra nature kekkei genkai,this element nature is comprised of fire and wind elements. This nature creates chakra that is capable of heating up an enemy to the point where all the liquid inside their body evaporates, killing the victim and leaving them a desiccated corpse.
The Ryū-Ken are famous for their high willpower, and exceptionally strong shinobi. All the members which have been shown fighting have displayed the ability to use Fire Release nature transformation, with even the youngest of members able to use it from just observation. Their mastery of the fire element is rivaled to none. Unlike normal fire element theirs is a white colored flame.
The Ryū-Ken clan has the ability to shape the transformation of one's chakra to the "highest possible point" and then combine it with their chakra's nature affinity, creating a technique that do not need the aid of time-consuming hand seals to control.Utilizing this ability the clan uses a nintaijutsu fighting style of concentrated barrages of fire to overwhelm opponents before striking a fatal blow. Heat direction can also be performed by Clan member at this level, heat redirection allows for the absorption of heat from one hand and passing through one's body and out the other hand. This allows them to absorb all fire based elements.
At an Master level the clan member capable to ignite objects with his Fire Release instead of traditional methods to produce and manipulate fire. Clan History:It was said people received the element of fire from dragon that was the guardian of their village. However, Their Clan leader stole the power to better his life and that of his impoverished friends, but was captured, and banished. He was allowed to keep the power of fire to protect himself, and ended up traveling to fire. As such, he managed to hone his fire element by learning the proper way of ninjutsu from the dragons that lived in the dessert. He developed his a new chakra element known as Scorch.
Since then, clan members was learned from the dragons that had once populated the land of fire. The first people, to learn from the dragons were the Sun Warriors, who understood the connection between the fire of their souls, the fire of the dragons, and the sun.They became the nobles of the clan.
Years later, after the latest Agni Kai, Kohona's elders began to suspect that an Ryū-Ken was becoming to strong and would try to take over the village.The head of the Anbu took matters into his own hands and committed the genocide of the clan.Within one day, the entire clan was slaughtered with only one known Ryū-Ken left alive.
Among the clan, or at least those of the upper-class, disputes of honor are settled by a challenge to an Agni Kai, or "fire duel", a traditional duel that is centuries old. Such a duel is conducted in an open-air arena, and it may be witnessed by spectators. The traditional time for an Agni Kai is sunset or sunrise, although it is not a requirement. While Agni Kai have become almost exclusively duels to the death. The victor may spare the defeated, but it is generally looked upon as an act of weakness rather than generosity. The duel is traditionally fought bare-chested and the contestants may have one or more "seconds", i.e. people who stand around in that person's corner of the field and may attend to their champion before and after the duel, or bear them away in case they die fighting. The opening pose of an Agni Kai is squatting with back turned to the opponent. During this phase, both contestants traditionally wear a red-and-black shawl over their bare shoulders, which is dropped upon turning to face each other. It is considered dishonorable to attack from behind in an Agni Kai, especially for a defeated opponent who has been spared by the victor.
