Bloodline Name: Coral Release [Sangoton]
Bloodline Ability: Coral Release is an Advanced Element using Water & Earth alone {Clan Only}. It's more of Life and Water combined to create a living life form, close to a plant, out of Chakra. This advanced element is rare and exclusive, however, in the Umi Clan. Only a handful in all of history have recieved it. Coral Release includes creating Coral from the skin, another's skin by contact and seed planting, or the ground.
--- Coral Release Skin & Bones | Passive KKG | Rare - For the user of Coral Release, their skin is coated in coral in the color of their normal skin, creating a hard, durable 'shield'. However, the backside, the part that touches the skin, of the coral is extremely flexible, allowing the user to move loose and free. Also, the user's bones naturally become coral-like, allowing them to gain the abilities a lot like the Kaguya Clan's. This means they can edge coral from out of their skin with little-to-no pain.

Description: After a small array of handseals, the Sangoton {Coral Release} user creates a shield of coral from their body wherever they please. This shield is home to many spiky protrusions each spike being 6 inches. This defense can also be used in a dome shape to provide defense from multiple angles. The dome form of this jutsu also houses the same spiky protrusions, these tiny 8 inch thick projections and the dome can defend three people, including the user, comfortably.
Weakness: The shield itself can withstand a plethora of C-rank skills and below, while also holding its composure against 3 B-rank attacks. One A-Rank attack however, destroys the shield.

Description: These hollowed bullets can be fired from various points of a Sangoton users body, from their modified bone structure consisting of coral. Though, the name suggest they are hollow, only the fronts are, while the end of the bullets contain bundles of nematocysts. Upon collision with the fronts being hollow they shatter creating more tissue damage than a normal pierce wound. The many nematocysts are the splattered around the wounded area and enter the bloodstream of the target. In the blood stream they numb the affected area, with an intense burning feeling, close to that of a fire. Eventually (3 Posts) The limb will go completely numb and will not be able to be used for (2 Posts). Many of these bullets can be fired at once, but only two areas may be afflicted with the numbing side effects. It is the users choice which areas are numbed, if more than two areas are struck. The bullets may also be fired as typical bullets, similar to that of the Kaguya clan.
Weakness: Anyone with Taijutsu Speeds of Adept or Higher can dodge the bullets with ease.

Description: Utilizing the Sangoton element, the user blows or scratches on their skin spreading Coral seeds throughout the air. The seeds automatically begin to absorb sources of Vitamin D, but the Sangoton user can prevent certain seeds from growing if they please. Some of the seeds will lay on the first layer of the surface they touch to have easy access to sunlight, while others may burrow deeper inside their surface to find source of chakra, Calcium which is used to supplement Vitamin D, or just basic Vitamin D. After about two post the coral will begin to grow on the seeded areas, alerting the user the jutsu is ready. This coral however is harmless and its nematocysts are dormant. After a quick set of handseals, the Sangoton users places a hand onto a surface that has grown the harmless coral shell, which sends the users chakra to the coral and the coral begins rapid growth. The coral will protrude from the surface 15m high creating an enlarged coral reef the size of a football field. Though brittle, this environment regenerates at a rapid speed while in sunlight and can be controlled, but in a slow pace, by the Sangoton user freely to trap, confuse, or even crush targets. Via touch the user may also activate the dormant nematocysts in a small area, firing them at will. Clones and other techniques requiring coral may be accessed through the many branches of coral.
Weakness: This Reef can be destroyed by 2 S Rank Techniques, 4 A Rank Techniques, 8 B Rank Techniques, 16 C Rank Techniques, and 32 D rank Techniques
Clan History: The Umi Clan is a clan known for their mastery in the arts of Suiton, Doton and Fuuton. They are also noted to have notoriously long lives, this was due to the fact they originated from pre-Takigakure. After the destruction caused by the wars, they scattered to the nearest island in hope of refuge; thus the explanation for their presence in Kirigakure. Upon arriving there, the clan had no trouble adapting to the island. Having a similar feeling and love for Suiton based Jutsus, they fit in fairly nice and began became close with the Hōzuki Clan. At first things went swimmingly and there were no problem.
They stayed faithful and continued to give Kirigakure their full support. Around the time they established the Seven Swordsmen of The Mist, was when the clan began their long history and tradition of joining the Kiri Militia/Shinobi as higher ups, the past Mizukage allowed it. Starting with Takeshi Umi, Miuu's Great Great Great Great Great Grand father. As time passed his Son would take the role and his son's son and so forth; ending with Miuu, being the first female to hopefully make it that far. The joining of the Mist Militia resulted in the clan adding one more mastery to their already exceptional list; Kenjutsu. Each Umi member would be taught the arts of Kenjutsu, even down to the most deadly and forbidden techniques.
Having been in Kirigakure for over five generations the clan had become trusted.
However, around the same time the Hiramekarei, a Jounin named, Rukio Umi, descendant of Yagura Umi, a past Mizukage, received the Coral Release Nature. Rukio also happens to be Miuu's Great Grandfather. Meaning, Miuu may also come in contact with the Coral Release. Also, there were only two other members of the Umi Clan that also recieved the Coral Release Element. {These two are ancestors to the two that may join.}
