New System wrote:Hello Sakura,As you know The Land of Water is a vast and large-scale country that is home to all the shinobi of Imperial Kirigakure in which I rule. While Kirigakure manages to stay away from the affairs of the world, the decay has spread even to the Land of Water. Partly because of the lack of trade and business from other countries. But the primary reason is an increase in crime which the Water Daimyō has allowed to spur up. Inner criminal activity has increased, which has worried our dear King that bigger things are being planned. Paranoid and afraid of suspecting slow corruption of the higher-ups and government, along with a coming war within the Water Country I have decided to keep Kirigakure out of the affairs of the world. While what's truly going on is unknown, this may not be far from the truth. While the rest of the Land of Water have already suffered through the brunt of the decay, Imperial Kirigakure will strive not to be affected.
As you may have noticed, the land surrounding us right now, the forestry, is barren and surrounded by mist which is steadily decomposing at an alarming rate in lieu of my own actions. A form of environmental pollution which I have devised to prevent any intrusions from occurring. I will be implementing a ventilation system which spews out corrosive fumes from the village outward spanning most of the land and creating sanctuary inside Kirigakure but making the surrounding borders hazardous. Yet more thought needs to be put into the system, until then I will use the system as a scare tactic. It won't be hard seeing how we are already encased in mist. While I can't prevent the fumes from harming the village as well, the effects won't be as resounding as it is on the other area it will effect. In time we will learn to adapt, I am continuing on learning a barrier jutsu which will surround the village, but I have yet to enact the practice necessary to learn it. All these plans of actions yet more work is to b done before a final product can be formed. Back to the vent system though, this variant of fume is enriched with subtle amounts of my own clan, the Kotonashi’s futton chakra, which proves to very acidic and holds a high pH value. When met with the surrounding environment, the vapor rapidly disintegrates natural & material substances such as: trees, animals, water, iron, rock & insects. Newly introduced materials will disintegrate in four post. The toxic fumes when introduced to a human can be very deadly, as it doesn't directly effect them other than mild rashes on their epidermis. Induced poisoning are the severe and only effects after taking in these fumes for long periods such as three post.
Generally, the poisoning causes some combination of nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea that may or may not be bloody, only ending in death.
- Symptons:
After in-taking the tainted fumes, abdominal cramps, diarrhea, and vomiting, can start as early as thirty minutes in the case of staph and as late as two hours in the case of campylobacter. Symptoms can last from one day up to a couple of months or longer, depending on how early the the victim is treated.
Vomiting, diarrhea, sweating, dizziness, tearing in the eyes, excessive salivation, mental confusion, and stomach pain may also come with it.
Partial loss of speech or vision, muscle weakness, difficulty swallowing, dry mouth, muscle paralysis from the head down through the body, and vomiting may indicate botulism, which ultimately leads in death if untreated.
I have assured my peoples safety that everything is under control. The ventilation will ensure that the people of Kirigakure will be safe, while the only method of traveling out of the village now is by sea. I will continue to strive towards protecting the village at any cost. For those who do try to enter will have to deal with the effects of the fumes.Le Sovranità
