Personality Description:
- Social:
- The isolated and semi-tragic childhood of Kuro has shaped him into a loner. He is, oddly enough, both introverted, and extroverted. To phrase it as good as possible, Kuro is similar to a coconut, with a thick and dense exterior, which is the introverted portion of his personality, and the soft center, which would be the extrovert portion. Kuro is overall, sarcastic, narcisitic and blunt, until one befriends him. At that point, Kuro's personality flips, though not entirely. While he maintains his sarcasm, narcisism, and bluntness, he becomes kind, hyper, and ridiculously loyal. Of course, Kuro, being nicknamed "Psychosis", has a few oddities. For one, while he has a very low understanding of emotions, he can easily read people, to the point of making the sharingan look stupid. Each person Kuro meets is immediately shifted into one of two categories. The first is the category which Kuro dislikes greatly, with the second being immediate friends simply because their personality. However, it is not impossible, merely hard, for someone to transfer from one category to another. There is a third category, but those are the people Kuro has not met yet. This category is where Kuro cares absolutely nothing for the person, able to take their deaths with a shrug and no emotional baggage.
Kuro's past should, by all means, make him constantly nervous. This isnt so, as Kuro is a calm and collected individual, though not in the usual manner. While his thoughts and emotions are calm and serene, his actions are often that of a hyper kid with too much energy. This is due to his isolated nature, which makes him manifest his excitedness in some way, usually by acting hyper. However, Kuro, even when hyper, is a supremely intelligent individual, able to formulate plans and methods of both attack and defense in seconds. Kuro has an oddly high control of his emotions, able to literally control them, rather than suppress them as most do. However, he does not really "delete" the emotion, he simply transfers it into another emotion, or evens out his emotions, which gives him a calm nature. Kuro, hilariously enough, is surprisingly nervous in any "couple" situation, including flirting and the like. That being said, any enemy which tries to do so to make Kuro nervous will be in for a rude awakening, since Kuro would simply shift the nervousness into anger.
- Solitude:
- Kuro is naturally a very extroverted person, yet his past shaped him to be introverted. This collision of natures caused a division of Kuro. For most, this would create a multiple personality disorder. For Kuro, it created a chaotic view of the world, with conflicting natures injected into his very being, causing him to be both sides of the coin, being both extroverted, and introverted. This example extends to many of Kuro's personality traits, such as his trust being both given freely, and being insanely hard to earn. The isolated nature of Kuro has made him a contradictory person, both enjoying solitude and hating it at the same time. Kuro loves the peaceful serenity of solitude, yet he hates the incredible burden of loneliness, which naws at his sanity. Well, more like it nibbles, since Kuro is already partially insane, yet not insane.
The solitude gives him peace, and lets him rest completely, yet he hates being bored. This contradiction makes most of his personality very hypocritic, yet balanced. Each aspect of Kuro's personality is dependant on situations, not the event, but HOW said event takes place, including when, why, where, what, and who. This point of view allows him to understand other people much easier, though his sociopathic nature makes it hard to fully understand them, since most of their actions do not follow logic, but flawed emotional reactions to events which they lack understanding of. Such is the case of most people, another reason why Kuro prefers being alone.
- Sociopath:
- Being so isolated as a child provokes many psychological problems. Kuro's only true problem is how he views most humans as worthless pieces of shit not worthy of toilet paper. Kuro, while being very dark in nature, does not hate. Hate, to Kuro, is an impossible emotion, one which is often confused for another, be it envy, rage, or disgust. While hate is a false emotion, Kuro agrees that love is real, as it explains the sheer loyalty that he felt towards his brother even before he knew him. While Kuro is incredibly observant, he is also clueless on social matters. As such, Kuro will generally not use honorifics unless specifically to piss someone off. To Kuro, showing respect is a sign of dislike, so showing no respect is not unusual. Naturally, most of his instructors gave up on trying to fix that part of him, since Kuro is notoriously stubborn. When Kuro DOES use honorifics, it is a sign of disdain, rather than respect. Kuro showing affection is similar to most people showing disrespect, in most eyes. Anyone who even knows Kuro remotely would know his method of addressing people. It has made him rather notorious, actually.
- Storm:
- While Kuro has a firm grasp on most of his emotions, there is a single emotion which he can barely control. As the title of this spoiler would have you believe, that is rage. Fortunately for Kuro, his rage manifests differently than others. Most could compare their anger to a fire, burning hot, and fast. Kuro's anger, in that sense, would be a lightning storm, uncontrollable, spontaneous, immensely powerful, able to come and go in the same instant. Kuro's naturally calm nature makes his anger manifest in a cold and hard determination, rather than a burning passion. Kuro's anger, unlike most, makes him focus directly, rather than forcing him to lose focus and attack in a rush. Kuro will often manipulate his anger so that he can focus even more intently on an enemy. Kuro's seriously fucked up nature has given him the title "The Mad Mystic", which refers to his incredible intelligence and wisdom, and his viscious anger, and sociopathic views.

History: The ceaseless current which is known as time has many beginnings, yet no end. Similar to Kuro's own story, only in opposite. For you see, Kuro had no real "beginning", no. What he had were multiple ends, each of which changed him into a new being, someone different, but not entirely. Kuro grew like no other, and he had multiple first memories, none of which he was certain were real. Indeed, along with various emotional problems, Kuro was crippled from birth, but not physically. No, the fault that caused him such greif was purely mental. His memory was the bane of his existence. While most people have mild lapses, such as walking into a room and forgetting why, for Kuro, it was a constant occurence in his life. Strangely, his memory was not all bad. While his short term memory was absolutely horrific, his long term memory was beyond brilliant. It was at the point where he joined the ninja academy where he realized this. Even so, his life before the academy went similar to most orphans. He spent his first few years at an orphanage, being one of the favorites of the caretakers. He, as well as his brother, Kaigen, was eventually adopted by a nice family. Said family was one of the few survivors of a slaughter, from one of the missing ninja who had went insane. For the first year at the academy, Kuro was doing well. He had been labeled a prodigy, although with that title came downsides most would never expect.
It was no secret that Kuro was more mature and intelligent than any of his classmates, outstripping them by miles. Unfortunately, when one is genuinely more mature and intelligent than a group, they will not be able to relate to said group, which causes a divide between them, isolating the mature one. This situation happened to Kuro, in far more ways than others. Most others had a small group of friends they could be with, and understand without being agitated by the sheer stupidity. Kuro did not. While Kuro was liked by most of the teachers, he was not able to relate to them either, mostly because of age. While Kuro was beyond mature, the fact was that he had no idea what it was like to grow up yet, so his ability to relate to everyone was destroyed. Kuro's sole contact was Kaigen, his brother. While Kaigen was not like Kuro, their family relation and past experiences with each other left them in a position of understanding that would take most others years to reach. It came to the point of predicting each other's actions before the other even knew what they were doing.
The second year started decently, no alterations from before. Within a month, it all went to hell. Literally, in the case of Kuro and Kaigen's adopted family. See, the missing ninja who had attempted to kill them before didnt like leaving things unfinished. In fact, he had a true mental disorder of it. Said missing ninja slaughtered the family without trouble, but the second he turned on Kuro and Kaigen, things changed. Both had been home at the time, and both were frightened. The missing ninja had managed to sneak into Suna, so he was a danger at the very least. Kaigen, like most children would, froze up with fear. Kuro, being who he was, sprung into action like nothing had happened, immediately taking down the missing ninja. One would wonder how, but the truth lie in why the man was a missing ninja to begin with. See, the man, Kodou, had become famous for his stealth skills. Kodou was absolutely impossible to find if he tried, but he began to rely on it so much that he let his other skills fail, which, since they had never been higher than fresh gennin, were easily outmatched by Kuro's rage filled attack. See, Kuro, having only his brother as a friend, focused so much on his skills in the academy that he was already well above a normal gennin's level. Kodou was killed by Kuro, not expecting a child to possess enough power to kill him. Kodou had grown arrogant over his years as a missing ninja, since he was able to avoid any detection with ease. He was one of the best sensors there were, but his other skills were absolute shit. If a half decent gennin fought Kodou when he wasnt able to hide, Kodou would die pathetically.
Even so, Kodou was still a B ranked missing ninja, as such, Kuro was allowed to claim his bounty. Normally this wouldnt happen, but the orphanage wouldnt take the twins back, so the bounty was allowed. With it, Kuro was able to pay for a house and food for the rest of their stay at the academy. Ironically, Kuro had started later than most, starting at ten. Since the academy took six years to complete, without bending rules for clan based prodigies, Kuro was sixteen by the time he had finally become a gennin.

- Spoiler:
- Sand and cloud. Similar yet opposite, one dealing with the earth, the other, the sky. Both were known for their abrupt and intense power. They were both villages, with similar statuses. Ironically, they became the same status through very different methods. Kumo was know for its brutal acquisition of power. Suna, on the other hand, was known for its cunning and shrewd politics. Kumo was the strongest village, Suna was the most cunning. The weak willed populace who called themselves ninja, at least those in other villages, often remarked that both were dirty, underhanded, and cruel beyond reason. No doubt, due to the endless skirmishes both used to gain power. So one may find it odd, when the two strongest ninja in the two villages of Cloud, and Sand matched each other. There was no hostility, only power. That kind of power that a rodent would feel when two tigers fought over who ate the rat. The sheer power that saturated the air was a warning to all nearby. To the right, the plants were growing naturally, as anyone could imagine. The Senju's natural chakra overwhelmed the plants, forcing them to accommodate. To the left, the plants were slowly turning darker, and stranger in nature. Kuro's dark but potent chakra did not match the man's, but neither chakra seemed to overpower the other's. Kuro's chakra was not aligned with plants, but even without that, the chakra imbued in the air had overpowered the natural chakra the plants had, giving them a similar aura to him.
The man who stood before him was no ordinary man. No, the being who stood before him was his match. Kuro had never before thought that he would meet his equal and opposite. This man, no, this being before him matched him perfectly. This man had more life force, but Kuro's own was no joke. Being a shikyo didnt really enhance his lifeforce as much as being Senju would, but each individual had different life force. To describe Kuro's life force would be to describe a vortex of infinite darkness, constantly blackening the area until it appeared to be gone, yet that sight also came with a strange beauty, as if the darkness came naturally. To the unaware, these two beings were preparing for a true war, the kind mankind had never seen. The intense aura around both of them was nearly palpable, yet there was no maliciousness behind any of it. It was as if two great allies were meeting, two kings of their own lands, meeting to discuss an alliance, yet at the same time measuring the other's capacity. The two were similar in many ways, yet opposite in just as many. It was as if the two avatars of life, and death had met. No, that was not purely true. It was as if Fear and Hope were meeting for the first time. Neither could exist without the other, yet neither could die if the other did. A strange paradox which could baffle the minds of most men.
The Lord of Hope had extended his hand in greeting, and the Lord of Fear was eager to meet it. He applied force, not dangerous force, but a firm force which spoke of power, not that it was necessary with the air still shimmering with their combined power. This one, he was worthy of his respect. It wasnt so much that he was powerful, so much as it was that they were similar. The power was nice, but without a brain, even the greatest power was worthless. No, this man had the single aspect of life that Kuro could respect. Willpower. The fact that this one had not backed down against Kuro's power was testament to that. There was a good power difference, and in the man's favor, yet there was no doubt a fight between these two would be a toss up at their current levels. Kuro had little doubt the man would win, but there was nothing necessary for that here, it was a peaceful meeting for the moment. This man intrigued Kuro, and that meant he would not act hostile. The man's nervousness at the sharingan did not go unnoticed. The devil himself manifested in that moment, and his chosen manifestation was Kuro's sly smirk.
"Relax, they are merely implants. I hold no ill will towards your clan." That was true. The Senju clan had once been friendly with the Shikyo clan, although on very base terms. A truce, and a trading alliance, no promise of protection or true alliances, just simple business. That was how the Shikyo clan operated, right up until they were ultimately slaughtered by Kuro's own father. The Shikyo clan was technically descended from the Senju clan, but through unnatural means. It was a corruption of the Senju's own natural creation, but it fit perfectly. Equal, yet opposite. The same origin, but different means of getting there. Ironic then, that Kuro now possessed the Uchiha bloodline as well as an altered Senju bloodline. Perhaps it was what made him feel familiar to Kuro? It didnt truly matter though. The two similar beings had finally greeted each other. Words were not needed for the type of introduction the two had unwittingly produced. It would likely be hard to stand in the area, for those without at least jounin level power.
The Uchiha were known because they spread hatred. They were ruthless, cruel, cunning, and brutal. They did not understand mercy. The Senju became known because they spread hope. They helped those in need, could fight on par with Uchiha, and were generally nice people. The Shikyo, however, were different. They were known because they spread fear. The kind of fear one would feel when dealing with a lurking beast, one lying in wait for its prey. They had power, and everyone knew it. They did not openly slaughter as the Uchiha had, but they did not spread the same peace that the Senju did. They interfered little in any affairs they were not immediately involved in. Due to a marriage between the Shikyo and Senju clans, they became something similar to allies. Ironic, that Fear and Hope were once allies, and their avatars once again met this day.
Kuro's eyes, sharingan they may be, twinkled with that curiosity and intrigue that plagued the greatest scientists when they found a new aspect of science they found worthy of the time to study. That same level of interest now held itself in Kuro's eyes. With that devilish grin, those sharingan eyes, the unnatural color of his skin and hair, he looked every part like a demon. His aura only enhanced the idea. The Lord of Hope had maintained eye contact, which was thrilling to Kuro. Most were scared of his eyes, some of his very presence, so much so that it was rare to find a jounin who looked him in the eyes. To find someone whos willpower was great enough to resist his own was incredible! It was like seeing your reflection for the first time. The sheer oddity of it all registered rather clearly in Kuro's sharp mind. Strange though, as the fog of pure power the two had emitted would normally cloud the thoughts of other's, yet Kuro's own mind felt... cleansed. His anger was greatly diminished, as if it was smashed with a giant fucking hammer. His sociopathic ways were diminished as well, but only to an extent. He felt... more alive than he had in years, odd considering he was only twenty three years of age.
Kuro did not know what force compelled him to say it, but he couldnt mislead this being before him, doing so would be far too similar to lying to himself, which he simply could not do. In any case, he would never be quite sure what made him say it, only that he felt a great compulsion to say it. "I take it you are the Raikage." It was obvious, true, the sheer overbearing power was proof of the kage rank. The fact that he requested help from Kumo only solidified his nationality. "I must say, I did not expect to receive the Raikage himself. I would have prepared something, at the very least a bit of dinner. Its very nice to meet you. It seems you know my name, but I do not know yours."
It was funny, really, how the civilian did not even register in Kuro's mind. He was usually very polite and gracious to civies. Not now, not after meeting such a man. A man to rival himself, a true rival, not one of those pathetic uchiha who bred for the sole purpose of hatred. A false emotion, nothing more. A delusional idea which was flawed, more so than Kuro's notoriously strange morals. Kuro despised the Uchiha mindset. Not the clan themselves, but their utter lack of any true power. It was one thing to beat a kage into the ground because you were stronger. It was another thing entirely to beat a kage into the ground because, even though you were weaker, you had more willpower. The kind of power it took to get back up after coming within an inch of death. The kind of power it took to look into the eyes of the sharingan and not even blink in surprise. That was true power. It was the kind that shaped worlds, that razed villages, only to recreate the old, fixing the mistakes of the past with the ideas of the future. That was what Kuro respected, and most Uchiha sadly lacked it. They were always drowning in their own issues, whilst blaming others for their own weakness. The idiocy of that kind of thought was nearly palpable. It digusted the Lord of Fear. The Lord of Hope, on the other hand, seemed to have just that power.
