Festival Worries

Tear sat in his office with mountains of scrolls and paperwork neatly organized on it. The window at his back was open letting the desert breeze blow through the office bringing a little sand with it. He had become accustomed to it so it didn't bother him anymore than it normally did. Tear had his head resting on his hand; it was lax as his arm was vertical. He was more propping his head up than resting it. He looked bored, yet distraught with worry. His men had brought him reports of disturbances going on in the area of the Land of Rivers. Considering the upcoming Festival of Peace Tear was worried that someone or a group of people may come to disturb the festival and if that happened it would throw the villages into chaos; possibly causing the already stressed alliances to tear asunder. Tear began to tap the index finger of his free hand on his desk.

"Hmmm..."

Tear set aside his worries for the time being and decided to go to the festival. He stood and walked to the door as a almost ominous gust of wind blew through the office. It caused Tear's long hair to rise up and look as if it were trembling. Tear sighed and shook his head. "I'm just getting worked up for no reason." Right before he opened the door he did a odd whistle noise. Just then four anbu members appeared around him. While kneeling they placed one of the fists to the ground. "Jackal, Sekhmet, Osiris, Anubis. We are going to the Festival of peace keep yourselves hidden." Without a word the men vanished. Tear began to thought he would like to have some bodyguards he could actually talk to. He would scout some candidates on his way to the Festival. He then opened the door and left his office all the while thinking of who his bodyguards could be.

The sun was high in Sunagakure and it was no better time to collect desert herbs and grasses like this time and that was just what Kenshi was about to do. He had been out here for sometime and had a basket full of different herbs and flowers that could be used to treat wounds and many other things. Amongst his basket were also lizards and other small animals that were either food or had some other significance that he could later discern when he went back to the Masaki Shrine. After a few moments more one of the members of his clan would appear beside him although in reality he would already know of them coming," Yes?," the eyes of Kenshi looked over his shoulder while h had stood up and dusted some of the loose sand off of him.

The man who appeared to be in his thirties looked at him and nodded to the young clan head and handed him a letter," the elders decided that you needed a little time off to be a teenager and have some fun, so they want you to go to the festival and have a little fun at your own discretion," Kenshi of course would hand him the basket and nod, his mind was finally clear as he would find what he wanted to do during his free time. Currently Kenshi would be wearing his white sleeveless vest with a brown trim and moss green shorts and black shoes, his body dashed towards the village with haste as he entered it and smiled," Today is going to be an awesome day and finally i get to have some fun," chuckling to himself he would continue through the village although his destination was a bit off.

A few moments would pass as he came closer to the Kage's building until he had stopped running in the streets and look around the area," Hmm...what should i actually do to have some fun? I haven't really had the time to do anything except lead the clan and a little training," he stopped for a moment as he looked around a little more, his mind wandered off to what he should do.

As Tear exited the building he spotted one of the Sunagakure Anbu in his everyday attire. He smiled as the young man got closer and closer to him not noticing his path would collided with his own. Right before Kenshi reached Tear; Tear held up his hand and placed it on the young anbu members head. "So what is it that the Young Clan Heir has on his mind today." The tone of Tears voice was like a Playful Father talking to his son, but this conversation would not last long because Tear needed to be at the Festival otherwise it would look bad on Sunagakure. The heat and the Sun didn't get to Tear much in fact it made the Aura he had that much stronger.

For a moment he would almost give up until he had felt the hand of his very own Kage and chuckled," Oh Tear! I was trying to see what i could do for the festival...i was finally given some time off from working by the elders of my clan and i just don't know what to do," although for a moment his mind would wonder why he was out here. Removing Tear's hand slowly from his head he would soon put his hands back into his pockets," So where are you going so early in the afternoon...i wasn't aware that you went anywhere without an escort," slowly his brow would raise as he waited for the answer of his Kage.

Tear smiled at Kenshi's response. "Well if that isn't a pleasant surprise." Tear began to laugh at Kenshi as he brought up the fact of him not having a escort. "Oh I always have someone around you may not be able to see them, but they are there." He was referring to the 4 anbu members that always are around him. Tear looked away from Kenshi. "Although it would be nice to have someone that i could mess with out in the open....." He looked back at Kenshi. "Hmm I'm pretty sure being the bodyguard to the Kazekage would shake the doubts and rumours floating around the village that the Masaki Clan leader is still childish and only puts up a act of maturity." Tear placed his hand on Kenshi's shoulder. "Come to the Festival and i'll give you a test there. I'm going on ahead of you." Tear walked off towards the village wall.
