Khala had arrived within the lands known as River Country after departing from her village, hopefully for good. But she knew that such a thing would be hard to fathom, for Kiri would not just remain idle with one of their own had basically revoked their status as Shinobi of Kiri, and thus had become a missing-nin. Even though she was a mere Genin who did not hail from a clan nor had any special ability, she was still an individual that had up and left her village, and that there was reason enough for the hunter-nin to be deployed, or even worse, the Anbu squad. But despite the dangers that came with going rogue, she had decided to take the risk head on, if it meant that she could walk a better path with Fang teaching her. And she truly believed that Fang had more to offer to her than her own village. She also had some other reasons to depart from her village, reasons she had not divulged to anyone. Either way, it was best that she did not mull over her decision to much, especially since she believed she had picked the right one. Instead, she should be more focused on getting to the meeting spot, the place determined by Fang before she had departed from River Country a couple days ago. It was suppose to be a cave on the borders of the lands, and thus a cave that should be easy to find. It she did not manage to find the cave, well than that would be sad for she had a map. And the map would lead her to the exact cave she was suppose to meet Fang, hoping she was not late or anything. Khala had not bothered to look at the time whilst she departed from Kiri, nor calculate the amount of time it would take her to arrive, and she made a mental note to do that next time. For she hate to keep people waiting. But she would arrive at the cave soon enough, and rather or not Fang had already arrived would be determined soon enough. Word Count: 355 |

Lei Fang sighed softly as he made his way towards the meeting location at the cave, his eyes softly flickered through the gaps in his mask as he moved with his head held high. Slight staring into the clouds, it wouldn't belong before he had reached the location on the map that he had given to Khala. He wondered if she would even been there yet or was he just over zelous to think that much of their encounter to expect that much of her.
"Fox what is that you're doing?"
His question was loud enough for just himself to hear as he moved with a graceful flow to his stepping make sure not to kick up much dust as he moved. His feet slightly pressed the grass and into submission as kept his hands hide away in his long sleeves. For him the festival had been pretty much a completely bust providing that it had turned into more work than an actual vacation.
"When are you going to actually take a real one?"
Once again he opposed a question that didn't resonate pass his mask as he caught a glimpse of the cave coming into view. Within second's he arrive to the meeting location as he took up forth next to an old oak tree and allowed the sun to bath his body in a warmth that wasn't commonly felt in his village. His eyes softly sunk into themselves as he slightly sighed and allowed the warm wind to wash over his body as he waited. It wouldn't be long before the sounds of foot steps broke his trans and had him fully alert to greet Khala as she came into view.
"How was your journey here?"
He asked as he saw that things most have when well so far since she wasn't missing a limb of sorts and she didn't seem completely tired. He'd force himself upward as he sigh softly before looking to her and smiling in a manner that showed through his mask.

Excitement coursed through the veins of Khala, quite pleased with the fact that Fang was in fact at the meeting spot and that she had not missed him, for that would had defeated her purpose of leaving Kiri behind. She ventured further into the cave as Fang made inquiries of her trip, a simple question to say the least. She did not believe anyone had followed her, though there was bound to have been some people see her depart from the village gate. But, due to the Mizukage having gone out to eat at a new restaurant, it would had been a while before anyone noticed that she had revoked her status as Kiri Shinobi. And with an entire world to disappear into, she was confident that it would be a long time before any Anbu could find her. Though, her calculations could be wrong. “I don’t believe anyone had followed me, nor had I received any trouble along the way. So, I have to say the trip back to this country was fine,” Khala answered, her voice filled with glee, something she did not display often. A smile graced the face of the child as she looked up at Fang. "I met the new Mizukage whilst I was there, quite the woman. I don't think she liked me though, nor I her, but that is of little matter now. Is it?" “How was your business trip?” She would ask, hints of curiosity creeping into her voice and her head cocked to the left. She noting that for the time the two were apart, she had no clue what Fang had been doing. Though, that was also really none of her business for it was not like he had to answer to her. Especially when she had no rights to make inquiries, given the fact that he was her superior in every way imaginable. Yet, she could not help but wonder what he had been up to during the pass couple of days. Either way, she was fine with whatever answer Fang gave her; and would even by fine if he decided not to make such a thing known. Word Count: 356 |

Fang smiled lightly as he moved to step closer as he nodded softly at the good news that she had given so far. He allowed her question to resonate in his mind as he thought about the few people that he had killed during the time that they had parted ways, he slightly shook his head left to right as he came up with a very generic answer that didn't seem to answer her intended question at all, beside the fact that is was okay.
"It wasn't bad at all."
He slowly moved his body in a manner that allowed him to shift his weight from left to right as he nodded softly. He slowly allowed his hand to draw from his sleeves as he pulled out a map that would lead to the next intended location he had planned to make stops at.
"Well Mrs. Lady, I think it is time to get you fitted for your new gear."
He smiled lightly as he had already sent an order out for them to stop off at a special weapons shop as he wanted to make sure that they were ready for the next job that he had to get lined up. He wasn't sure how she would fill about having to travel and train, but it couldn't have been all bad. He was quite skilled and several things and if nothing else, he'd make her great at close-quarters combat.
"We're going to be stopping in a small town that it just about an hour or two up the way, we're going to get you fitted with a mask, get a couple of kunia and complete a simple mission. I must warn you, now that you're working under me, this is not going to be as simple as hunting for lost pets and you can honestly say that you're not jumping into the fire, but being pushed in."

Khala stared at Fang for a moment, allowing the words of the man to sink deep into her mind. New gear sounded nice, a mask on the other hand not as much. She wondered if she would be required to wear the mask upon her face as much as Fang did, though it really couldn’t be that bad. Right? Her mind was taken off the topic of gear to that of missions that were going to be far more difficult than the run of the mill lost pet situation she was use to. And the prospect of doing something new had her excited. What the mission entitled? Well she was bound to figure that out either an hour or more in advance, or the moment of the mission. It didn't really matter to her.
Khala would say, her eyes flickering with excitement, “I am ready for anything you decide to throw at me.”

"Good girl."
Fang replied as he moved to allow his hand to wash over his supposed face as he pulled out a map with the direction towards the land of snow. He smiled lightly as he looked into the girl's face before allowing his words to come to him.
"Study it, learn it, and burn it. You have one hour to learn that map and be prepared to move, I'm sorry but there are a few things I must take care of. So I would like for you to take the time to learn the different routes, there will be times were you will get a meeting location on a route apposed to one that is at a landmark."
With that he dusted himself off a bit before heading off towards town, as he promised he would return in one hour sharply baring a small bag, with lots of items that would prepare them more their journey.

Khala nodded as she took the map from Fang, her eyes already going over the details whilst her mind tagged everything and placed it into storage. This task would be simple enough for her, though she would have to go find some material to burn the map with. Either way, when Fang returned, there would be no physical map. There were certainly a great deal of routes, routes she had not known of, routes that sometimes led to one single place. Which was good for if one route was compromised, she would still be able to make it to a destination by simply directing herself onto another route. She could definitely see why Fang would want the map burned upon her memorizing it, the information was quite valuable and should not fall into the wrong hands.
She took forty-five minutes to memorize the map before folding it and heading out of the cave. She would than spend the next five minutes gathering twigs of various sizes for the flame she would be constructing, call it the death of a piece of paper if you will. The next five minutes was spent lighting the fire and making sure not one trace of the map existed before she would stomp out the flames and head back to the cave.
A couple minutes later, Fang came back with a small bag, right at the one hour mark. He certainly was punctual. She got up from her sitting position, dusting any particles from her dress before she would head towards Fang. "Ready to move out?"

Fang's heart swelled with a little pride in picking up a good student as he could tell that she did what he had instructed as soon as he saw her. The smudges at the end of her dress had spoke of her just putting out a fire, and the map was no were in sight. He slightly smiled as he walked, as he looked her over before placing his arm around her shoulder and slightly ushering her out of the cave.
"We're going to be stopping in a small village on our way to sound. We're going to pick up a few mission to take care of the travel needs, don't worry we're looking for things that can be done fast and won't require a lot of work on our part."
He smiled lightly as he knew the only missions that ever went that well was missions that required bandits being in a place that threatened the well being of a town. While he was using this to test her murdering ability, he did want to see how she would react when she was the one that had to take a lot of lives. It was one thing to not be moved by death it was a whole other thing to be the one that had killed.

Khala had been ushered out of the cave, no protest leaving her lips as Fang did so. She merely glanced up at Fang as he explained what they would be doing for the next couple of days. A soft smile would cross on her face, for the thought of traveling intrigued her very much. The village known as Sound was not one that she had been to before, though really she had only ever been to River Country, outside of her former residences. This trip would certainly be fun, and it would widen her view of the world.
“Sounds good enough to me.”

Fang smiled as he could read the small amount of excitement that was dancing off of the girl. He softly nodded his head as he placed a sheet into her hand began moving towards the location of the town over.
"There is some trouble out east, that might be able to aid our troubles. Some about lots of bandits and a small town, that is where we're head."
He smiled lightly as he allowed his hand to linger over his mask for a second before pulling it downward to completely cover his face. He was still a fox by an means and that meant that at all times he needed to be sly.
"Come my little foxling, we have work to do."

Khala would follow Fang without question. Why would she not? For this moment of time, the man was her sensei. Thus she would follow the man. Follow him to the next destination of their travels. Completing task as they moved along. This was the life Khala Ryuusei had chosen for herself. And thus far, it was looking to be the right choice.
