Syndra

Syndra

Fireworks in need!:

Syndra has just attempted to find a place to eat, after a short walk down the village streets. She heard a group of men talking about how they can't believe their boss forgot their fireworks at the borders of the village. Another man then said, "I'll pay someone if they get us those fireworks." Syndra thought to her self. . "I could use some spending money for this festival. ." She let the group continue their small complaining conversation for a moment before she butted in. She approached the men with a smile and spoke calmly and confidently.

"I'll get those fireworks for you." She claimed.
Music to the men's ears. They all cheered slightly, being overly joyed about the fact their fireworks were going to come. Syndra's forehead protector with the leaf symbol engraved on it probably helped them believe they would definitely get their fireworks. This was an easy job for a ninja.
The men gave a map to Syndra desribing where the fireworks were at. It wasn't too far of a journey. Seemed simple enough she thought. They all wished her luck and told her to be back within two hours with the fireworks.

Syndra then began to make her way out of the streets of the village, where the festival was still very much alive and started to travel down a dirt path to a firework store on the outskirts of the Festival land. The path was long and narrow, being normally used for travelers. This land never got much excitement unless it was during this time of year. Syndra's long snow white hair swung behind her and her shinobi sandals clicked on the dirt ground with each step. Along the way, she saw multiple creatures and even some people traveling towards the land of Rivers to enjoy the festival. It was crazy how many people actually attended this festival. It could have been very well the most busies celebration of the year. Which is probably why these fireworks were so important to the festival planners.

"I wonder how many fireworks there are?" She asked her self. She hoped it wasn't too heavy a load or that they at least had some type of way to transport the load. The longer she traveled, the more the sun would set down. She knew time was running out. She decided perhaps she should start running to save some time. She began to re-tighten anything on her that was considered loose, making sure nothing would fall of while traveling. She then began to charge towards the direction where the fireworks were at, after glancing at the map for a moment. This definitely cut her travel time quite a bit. After a moment of running towards the destination and one water break, she found herself where the map told her to go. It was a large building, almost mansion like off the dirt path. Syndra knocked on the front door of the place, curious if she was at the right spot.
After a short wait, a bunch of geisha dressed women opened the doors. With a man standing a couple feet from the door. He was dressed unusually, some what 'fun' like. This gave her a hunch that she was in the right spot.
"Ahhh, you must be the ninja picking up the fireworks for the festival, no?" He asked, with a fan in his right hand. Syndra just nodded as a reply.

"Well, then welcome to the Foo Families manor. We have your pick up all set in a carriage outside." The man began to make his way outside with a couple of nobles and geisha's following him. They went around the corner of the mansion where a large carriage was stacked with multiple colorful fireworks and drug by a horse. Next to it was a elegant type of carriage that was probably used to carry the royal family here.
"We will travel back together, me and my family were about to go to the festival ourselves." Syndra didn't particularly like this idea, but if she declined they might have taken the fireworks back. Which meant no money for Syndra. She just smiled and said 'okay.'

On the way back to the festival, the royal carriage rose beside Syndra who guided the firework carriage. Along the ride, the man explained how his family is a wealthy family who had made their fortune off of fireworks. Syndra wasn't really that interested, but she pretended to be. Letting out a fake laugh, smile, or comment here and there.
When finally arriving back, the men thanked Syndra multiple times and paid her. They then began to set up the fireworks for the show that was about to start. Syndra then continued to find something to eat after the whole adventure. She found a rice shop that served the tastiest rice she had ever eaten. While sitting on the outside table of the restaurant, she noticed the fireworks that she gathered began to light the sky and she would sit and enjoy them. Actually enjoying herself for a change.
