It is a new day and Sanroku now has the obligation to become stronger and better than he ever was before if he plans to move up the ranks properly. The young shinobi loves to train but above all else he enjoys doing missions in order to earn respect in Kumogakure and in turn be a force to mess with in the shinobi world. The idea behind the Creativity is Key mission is to merge the two philosophies into one, the philosophy of training to get stronger and the philosophy of completing missions in order to gain credibility. Sanroku is certainly trying to become the most credible shinobi in Kumogakure so creating new jutsus that are unique to only him, should be second nature to Sanroku by now, now that he has created a great deal of custom jutsus. Sanroku now believed that the ideal jutsu to learn now should not be an attack or be a defensive type of jutsu. This time Sanroku is creating a supplementary type of technique that will help him in the battlefield by utilizing it strategically. Sanroku wanted to get a good idea of what a useful jutsu might look like so he decided to head to the Kumogakure training fields in order to witness firsthand how shinobi attempt to use their supplementary jutsus in combat. While running to the training field, Sanroku thought that a good use for supplementary techniques would be one that can hide a shinobis true intention, but the method in how this is going to be done is basically unknown to Sanroku. It is unheard of for a shinobi to use a technique that can confuse the enemy in a form that they won’t suspect your next attack unless of course if the skill being used is an ability one gains through birth via a kenkai genkai. The young shinobi stopped wondering how this custom jutsu will be formed and in turn created and focused primarily on reaching the training field in order to see live trainings for himself. Sanroku got to the training field and seen how these genin were beating each other up in order to achieve supremacy in the shinobi world. Sanroku was pleased to see the supplementary jutsus being used in the area, as one shinobi used his supplementary technique to disguise his shuriken when it was thrown. The shuriken camouflaged with the surrounding environment making the shuriken nearly invisible to the naked eye. The young shinobi Sanroku remembered thinking that this jutsu will certainly be taken and created customarily for him; but for now he needs something a bit simpler.
Sanroku then observed the fact that shinobi were having trouble weaving hand signs without their target predicting what technique is going to be used. Either the shinobi sparring were close enough to remember each - others technique or each shinobi knows the jutsu in each shinobis arsenal. Either way, Sanroku cannot have that be a factor when he is combating. So Sanroku thought about creating a technique that can hide the hand signs so that outside viewers cannot predict the next coming jutsu. This jutsu will rely mostly on ninjutsu specialist since it will need for the shinobi to weave their hand with an exceptional speed. Not only that, but the shinobi is supposed to invest a great deal of chakra into his hands in order to move them twice as fast as they can inherently by being a ninjutsu master. The jutsu thought of will be called, Distortion and the descrition is that it is a simple technique that needs rigorous training. Ninjutsu master already made it an ability to weave handseals in a pace that is "hard for anyone in particular to follow." With this jutsu, the user is able to weave handsign faster than they normally will, making this hard to view quality nearly impossible to witness as only a blur will be in sight. The way this is done is by infusing the hand with chakra in order to speed up the process of handseals. Only a master in the Ninjutsu fighting style can use this technique. Now that the premise of the jutsu is complete, the mission detail needs to be given to the front office and the reward must be gotten.
