- Talim:
- Appearance:
- Head: Wild azure blue hair. her bangs are relatively trimmed back so not to obscure her vision to much while the rest of it is layered atop shoulder length hair. Each outer layer trimmed back slightly giving it a full look. The ends of her hair not frilling at the ends. As a whole it stays clumped up nicely with a few curls that help give it form and nothing more. Beneath her wavy blue locks are her two hidden ears relatively pointed like that of elven creatures. The bottoms instead of being lobed gently disappear into her head. Hidden barely in her bangs are her sleek long eyebrows stretchy across her brow. Below are her wide beady eyes that normally are accompanied by a pleasant grin that is innocent and honest. Plane and simple, Talim is not the type to go overboard on make up allowing her natural paled face to peek through with a smile that while adorable is hard to see. Talim unlike most women is also not fond of fashion sensory and wears clothing out of necessity. Normally covered, Talim's neck is warmly bundled by a blue and white scarf trailing up to one meter in length. Depending on the weather and terrain which she is traveling Talim will unravel this from around her neck to bundle her head (Proves most effective in areas prone to treacherous storms. Sandstorms, Hail, Bleating rains, and droughts that tend to sap the liquid from you in gallons of sweat).
Body: Wearing a light green kimono to cover her body, Talim's clothes appear one size to large once again through the wisdom of traveling she had developed through her years. This kimono like most in tradition trailed down past her waist with no obvious buttons or strings to help it stay laced around her thin fragile figure. Below her bust is a pink sash with a white streak down it's center, this actually white streak actually being a rope for tightening and loosening around her waist. The most strange piece of her outfit is a metal plate cupped about her breast, leading off of it is two blue strings which are anchored about her back and body (This is connected to what appears to be armor meant for an arm that appears to be quite restrictive.)
Left Arm: When she was young she desperately tried to master puppetry as a fighting style. Having thrown out her left dominant arm countless times it wasn't a surprise that she would make a pink cloth sheet to keep it tightly in place, however on top of this, she added what can best be described as a violet metal splint with strong blue strand of cloth wound up like a rope. This helps her manipulate her gigantic serpent of a puppet, Mara. With this she can whip it about without fear of tearing a muscles or breaking another bone. This cloth sheet about her hand eventually end into fingerless gloves.
Right Arm: Experiencing no issues from her puppetry practice she slowly built up the muscles in this arm to help prevent such issues in her old dominant arm. Since she threw out her left at a young age she quickly readjusted herself till she became ambidextrous (another godsend in her practices with puppetry). The green sleeves of her kimono stretch a bit down her arm about six inches above her elbow folded up by white undershirt. A purple fingerless glove to match the one on her left
Hips:The kimono stretches down into a blue like cloth, also unique in the manner that it to doesn't use buttons to keep it tight. Doubled up this navy blue skirt has a sewn ring about the hip which streams out with a long tan ribbon which is often knotted to keep it up about her waist. Unwilling to let herself fall prey to wandering eyes all these are doubled knotted for 'perve protection' as she has called it over the years. Usually she doesn't care about being seen in the nude but it is the when the boys go out of their way when they could have just asked her which annoys her (hence the double knotting). Curvaceous and womanly Talim tries to hide this aspect with her baggy clothes.
Legs: A leather strap around her left leg houses a scroll which she has carried around. It doesn't seem to have any symbolic on ninjutsu traits as this is merely a journal that she keeps on her person at all times. Tightly strapped in about her thigh it could make people wonder how this limb hasn't gone limb. Having developed wooden guards reaching up from her feet to her knees were created for when she use to hit herself while manipulating her marionette. Wears pink stocking that disappearing into her shoes. Her thighs and calves are extremely toned.
Feet: Petite feet her toes are and soles of her feet are relatively callused. Made from the coarse leather hide of cattle. Tightly form fitted to the wearer these slip on and off making them highly uncomfortable but stable when made correctly.
Personality Description:
Talim, as a whole is quite obvious when you get to know her. Living her life as an open book for all the world to see, much like the books she reads. Although unlike her books, she often feared growing up in the life style of many of heroines and legendary fighters. All born an only child losing their parents before they can even recollect their faces, vowing that one day they shall find the truth in their deaths only to find that they were merchants ship wrecked by a deathly storm conjured by some sorceress, or slain by a mighty warrior thought to be resurrecting a hell spawn itself to devour the world as you know it or etc. Being an avid book worm it comes to no surprised that she yearns for adventure and drama casting herself into the thick of a fray, just so that she can have a tale to right home about. Sadly though that is not how the life of an ordinary child can start, no tragic back story or family members dead and not even a lonely child. None of which is bad, Talim loves her family, exception possibly being her mother only because she is a bit stubborn in her ways(a trait semi passed down through the family). Often classified as a dreamer wishing for more in life when being returned with little to know options to fulfill that everlasting desire.
Despite these hopes in life one would think she would be quite stubborn and demanding as she grew up, however it was quite the opposite for her. She demanded very little, a trait she didn't acquire from any of her family members except possibly her father. Talim has is quite lax in her manners not in a hurry of over exerting herself to reach her goals, and quite obedient when commanded to do an task. Respecting authority, royalty, and religious figures before herself, imagine a loyal dog, you say bark. She barks. You say roll over. She rolls over. You say assassinate the kage of another village. She says, sorry sir for I am to week. Innocent to a fault, Talim is more likely to defeat her foe and then dress their wounds if in trouble despite the fact that they can still have ill intentions for her. Her mother often thought it was a shame she didn't look into medical jutsu techniques for her innocence and caring heart could have brought back even the most lost souls from the brink of death.
Although she has read many books and is considered an intellectual, Talim is far from being the smartest person in the room. Honest and trustworthy to a fault, she often fails in the tactical department leaving her enemies in a dazed or downed state unwilling to kill despite supporting evidence that will assure that they will kill again. This and her ability to understand sarcasm often makes her quite befuddled when told things.
Likes:
Tea: Jade, Peach, Cherry, Ginseng, and Lavender. However, Talim doesn't find it most satisfying just to drink as well as make. Having grown up to a relatively small family she became an apprentice at a friends tea shop. Amazed by the manner which one could use the leaves of various teas, she began experimenting with random vegetation. Anyway, the part she enjoys is steeping the leaves and bags into the water which gives it the flavor from the plant.
Shrimp: A delicacy to where she grew up, Talim considered herself lucky to be treated to a bowl of shrimp with a hot sauce which normally would be accompanied by it. An excellent main dish or side during a meal it was rare for her family to never finish off this food. Although if she was feeling ill it wouldn't come to any surprise that parents and eventually younger brother couldn't finish it.
Reading: Faced with the issue of boredom or chores,Talim decided it would be better to go about outside and read a book int a tree. Enjoying many of the stories that she had read. This became such a habit for her, as she normally would go out toward the tavern to listen in on the stories of traveling ninjas. This was probably one of her inspirations to eventually go out leaving her family for the city Otogakure by herself.
Swimming: Again swimming was more of a treat then anything back as a child, her parent spoiling them with whatever her brother and she wanted. Swimming was her activity of choice as she felt exhilarated by the water gliding over her smooth skin and always had a laugh when she stayed in long periods of time appearing like a prune.
Birds: This love for birds was developed by her long days and nights of laying about reading various novels. As she hid out in the trees, these little creature would often sing out their ditties and tunes which she enjoyed so much. She use to run outside with seeds in hand whistling ever so gently, her palms outstretched up as if she was a tree. At first one or two would land on her but eventually she had gained their trust so well that they would perch on her shoulder even while moving.
Brother: Since she was young she adored her baby brother, someone who she felt necessary to protect developing this ninja like trait of guarding others. This would help explain her wish to eventually become Daiymo's bodyguard, but she knew that she would have to work her way up through the ranks before that. Despite the treachery of her little brother she always would offer a loving smile to him.
Dislikes:
Meat: Talim became a vegetarian after her years of exploration of their village which they grew up in. One day, she had unfortunately upon these adventures she would learn why some people were vegetarians. Having watched the blood draining process, feather plucking, and fur removing seemed inhuman. So now Talim refuses to eat any form of meat, although fish oddly was fair game in her mind.
Games: Although she grew up with a little brother who would occasionally ask her to do various things, Talim never enjoyed playing the various games that he would ask for her to join him in. Always wearing a fake smile when she did have to play along with them. Board games are the worse as she tends to have the worst luck which even translates into fights haver the time.
Dogs: Despite their pathetic faces and playful tendencies, Talim had forever been scarred by the residual memory of being bitten her first time. Before her younger brother was born and she was four, she remembered walking through the woods with her pa. Having been a few meters in front of him he was stretching out when she screamed in pain from a vicious dog gnawing on her arm. Quickly rid of this dog her father rushed her back but this was enough to keep a fear of canines in her mind for the years to come.
Mother: She disliked tradition, but most importantly the person who demanded we stuck to it. Talim over exaggerates this fact, but her mother always seemed to urge her toward the more feminine aspects of life. Instead of listening to this ninja nonsense. A mother fearing the day her daughter leaves the nest and the possible idea of losing a child before she left this existence was her main arguments.
Running: Boring. This is labeled as quite honestly the most boring sport one could ever take up, and she refused to do this unless it is for training. The only useful running in her eyes is for survival or for reaching magically gorgeous destination.
Catch Phrases: ”Yes sensei!”, “Sorry sensei.”, "Hello baby brother, ----", "I wont' kill you."
Nindo: To serve her kage in any manner he wished. Although she also wishes to preserve life in the world.

History:
- First Born:
Talim, daughter Miss and Mister Kazushima, sister of Daiki. First born, her parents were quite surprised questioning whether or not they truly were prepared for a child. Slowly they would prepare for the troubles and hardships. Much to their surprise though, Talim was silent as the grave letting out a few quick sobs from the initial shock of being birthed into existence. When she walked home and carried about for the next dozen months to come their parents almost were worried that something was wrong with her. But every time they check upon her she would look up with that grin babies would get after they went to the potty. The variety of emotions that crossed her face as her parent recalled were, shock, happiness, giggly, and confused. Oddly enough the confused face happened quite often as she always wondered where the sound of flatulence was coming from. Her head gyrating about and then sneezing as she managed to pick up it's sent.
- Cainine Calamity:
- A month or two after Talim's fourth birthday, her parents decided believed that walking about the village, Sunagakure no Sato, would be a splendid idea, or so they thought. Still an adolescence in her prime, Talim's movement was sporadic and energetic those to little sausages they called legs teetering her about all over the place. Her mother having fallen pregnant with yet another child would be at a snails pace while her father walked behind the child keeping one eye on his wife making sure she didn't pass out and one on little Tali. Giggling and waddling about her father couldn't help but laugh, she was so innocent in their eyes along with most the other villagers. However, curiosity did lead her to more than one dead end.
Her father had probably turned his back for a fraction of second to look back at Sunagakure keeping up as best she could preoccupied with nurturing the baby forming in her own belly rather than the one outside. Although in that fraction he turned back around to realize their was no sign of the toddler. Running past various people peering down the alleyways he couldn't find his daughter who had basically ran of through the labyrinth of a village that they called home. Cross with himself he then heard a familiar scream from a few buildings down from which the girl hand wandered astray. A dozen villagers turned about trying to find the screaming child, but her father honed in as if a beacon had been triggered. Sprinting down the street and rounding the corner. His instinct quickly kicking the vicious canine in the side that had been gnawing upon her ankle. All Talim could do was cry and fall as the dog's fangs released her foot from it's vice like mouth. Screaming into her fathers neck as her once pristine leg was now bleeding from the bike marks of the near feral dog. Luckily for her that it wasn't rabid, as that would have proven fatal for her.
Taken to the villages local medic, he would treat the leg leaving nothing but bite like imprint of red upon her leg. Her eyes streamed with a river of fear and confusion. She had always been great with animals, and this sudden turn had scared her so much that her parents were quite afraid that she would never trust another animal again. They would let her sleep off the terror of the day and ask her about it the one to come. Sure enough though their fears were unwarranted. Waking up to a piercing giggles they would sit their rather dumbfounded as she had three small garden snakes slither about her, without a care in the world.
Talim's perspective upon the canine unit that had attacked her though went as she quoted as a four year old, "I was just walk’n doow the streeat whin whin, I saw the puppy just laying on a few old rags. I tried to pet it on the head but ... It snarled and then chased me out and then I don't remember." Stunned by her lack of caution for taming another animal they smiled realizing that this was probably gonna be one of her callings in life and strongly pushed her to being a veterinarian. However, she was so afraid of dogs she would refuse to hang about normally domestic animals as she thought, woodland creatures were more civilized.
- Baby Brother:
- Talim's parents decided that since she hadn't been to much of a hassle and the fact that they would try their hand at a second round. This time giving birth to a young baby boy named Daiki. Talim ecstatic at the opportunity of a baby brother had then decided that no matter what she did, that she would spend the next upcoming years of her life to help her mother in the rearing of this young boy. A bit louder and more calamitous then herself, Talim enjoyed the various sounds this plushy newborn made. Spoiled with the attention of both the females in the house.
More siblings wereborn before and after his but he was one of the few she really connected with.
- Departure:
- Talim's growth spurt sneaked in quickly and with out warning in her early years as a teenager, much like any other child born at this time period. Despite her heritage and genetics though, the young lady grew to a height of five foot four before abruptly stopping her ascent. Short in stature comparatively to the other students in her generation, Talim began being nick named more insulting names such as Shorty or Pipsqueak. Being wildly accepting and abundant with compassion though, Talim quite often did the respectful thing and ran off to the woods to cry. One of the few locations she was allowed to live her life as no one else pleased but herself. Although her brother was born by this point she often enjoyed solitude compared to his company if though she thought the world of him.
A few years would pass as she continued her life in the village that she had called home for so many years. However, the urge to break off on her own adventuring through the world had finally come, but before disembarking on such a grandiose adventure she need tools and supplies. Her father having been as king a man as he was understood this urge, something he to had before meeting with her mother. Over the next year Talim and her dad worked furiously upon a weapon for her to use. A weapon unlike any the world would ever see. Despite her petite build, Talim dreamed of using a gigantic serpent as her only means of attack and defense as her journey of a ninja. The carving and joint mechanism of locking was rather difficult to muster but with some labor and ingenuity, they managed to create it. Mara's creation was finished when she reached the early party of her teenage hood. The adventure from home having to wait another couple years as her mother still wouldn't trust Talim to wander the world on her own.
As her sixteenth birthday rolled around, their was no stopping her gusto and eagerness to start her life. Having looked about the world and deciding on Otogakure, her father agreed to take her their himself not caring of Talim's younger brother and ma would wish to see their daughter of on her long journey. Thankfully to her surprise the journey was a slow boring type, with little to know interaction with violent types which was why her father followed along, hoping to keep her safe, a traveling girl by herself was a recipe for disaster as far as he could care. Their were reasons as countless as the stars of why people would wish harm or malicious intent toward someone as young as Talim, especially with her serpent puppet which was quite beautiful in it's movement. Talim had trained almost exclusively with Mara in the upcoming years honing her skills and abilities so she could fly the ranks of genin quickly, hopefully to the point where she could be impressing her Jounin or possibly Anbu teacher on arrival.

- A crash cracking out like that of thunder snapped the world to an untimely awakening. Among the many souls who startled easily from their rested slumber. A small child dress in just her green kimono that stretched just long enough in her bed to cover up the wear she concealed her buttocks from others. It was to humid a day to sleep in anymore by her standards, but sleep wasn't an issue as she was abruptly snapped upright by the shock of such a noise. At it's initial strike the girl shot upright out from her slumber to a sitting position upon the sleep roll. Her heart beat and breathing heavily exerting itself as to not have a panic attack. "Shi-!" she shouted, finally catching enough of her breath to let out her exclamatory retort to the noise. Her eyes quickly glazed over the empty room coming to the sudden realization as she saw one of the paintings collapsed upon the ground. Pasting together the fallen painting and the loud noise and the lack of rain she heard from outside she realized that the paintings in her room needed firmer mounting, if not for anything else than just to protect them from being scraped and marked up against the wooden floor.
The bed roll was surrounded by a long wooden coil that took upon the presence of that of a serpent, which frankly would have startled most girls, if Talim hadn't been the puppet master for it. The marionette laid lifeless about her it's head and eyes coiled about in a circle as if this young girl was an egg in it's nest, that or possibly dinner considering the menacing topaz eyes that seamlessly peering into the souls of those it looks upon. Although the blue haired girl wielding it would restore confidence as her klutzy manner of puppetry made it quite difficult for her to combat others offensively merely dodging and deflecting, as the nicks and marks in the serpent would show. Quickly she flopped back down against the mat exhaling quite loudly once. "Lets not have another scare like that. What do you say Mara?" She inquired half jokingly. The serpents mouth then began to wiggle up and down in unison with her voice, less slithery and more choppy, "Of - course - lady - Talim." Her hands now controlling the strings which she had tied about her fingers practically at all times. She never let her puppet out of her sight which might explain why she puts an odd alternate personality to it. Giggling loudly for a bit she hopped up the strings snapping the serpant alive inching her thumbs out which helped control the frill of the great cobra's head.
"Where do we want to go out for lunch?" she said speaking to herself as if Mara was a live serpent. Her pose however which she quickly snapped to wasn't all that though out as she let down her right arm the cobra's head would flop down onto her putting her down with a resounding squeal, "Gahh Mara bad! Down girl!" The next half an hour would be her untangling the strings of the marionette as well as herself apart from one another. Brushing herself off with her hands, Mara's head and tail would jolt up and down like a fish flopping about on dry land hoping to splash neatly into the water. Each type it impacted releasing a 'thud'. Finally ready for the day to come, Talim jumped up loosening the string upon her fingers with mediocre precision before mount the wooden snake and slithering it and herself out of her room to the village's streets. Relatively early to rise, Talim would stare out to the city street realizing it was still dark, "Oops, I guess I woke up exceptionally early ... or woke up exceptionally late," assuming the previous as she assumed that her sensei or friends would have jumped on her for being late even in her own apartment.
Grateful for the earlier hours of the day, Talim knew that a few people were prone to screaming or jerking backwards at the approach of such a large serpent let alone a puppetry oriented ninja. The mere lack of users was probably what caused her to make Mara and learn their ways. While all the other skills focused upon their ninjutsu and genjutsu practicing. Shivering at the idea of genjutsu's, Talim was quite afraid of such ideas of people causing illusions to manipulate and contort her reality. Playing with puppets was enough for her reality, besides she felt more humane to beat someone then mentally scar them for life.
