Measuring 43 inches overall, this sword is built to perform with a razor sharp edge and featuring a 30 inch heat-forged chakra conductive silver Damascus steel blade that has been folded to deliver 2,000 layers of pure cutting power. In the traditional katana style the blade has a heavy blood groove down the center while the handle features genuine ray skin with a nylon cord wrap and a cast zinc menuki and tsuba, coming down to a length of 13 inches. The round tsuba is decorated with dragonfly designs, in Japanese society dragonflies are a symbol of martial success. The authentic look and feel of this mighty weapon is completed with the majestic hardwood saya (scabbard).

Origin: The sword was forged long ago in another land by a famed blacksmith who's name was Xan, Xavier's great-grandfather. The name was given to the katana because it was made in the memory of Xan's deceased wife, Yumi. On top of being created by him, it was also used by him, even if only for a short period of time. Xan slayed many ninja all over the five countries using this blade. It shocked most of the ninja in such a time period because they hadn't seen many as skilled as him with a katana. The potent skills that he held in Kenjutsu were known and feared by any. This was short lived, however as he retired soon after the creation of the blade. He passed it down to his son, who was Xavier' grandfather. Along with the blade itself being passed down, his great-grandfather also taught Cain the ways of Kenjutsu. The blade once again spilled the blood of multiple enemies at the hands of a Master. Once again the time came for this blade to be passed down although, this time it would be to the man who bore Xavier. It was his Father who had received the blade this time. This was the weapon he grew up with, being taught how to utilize Kenjutsu properly along with other forms of weaponry whilst using this sword as his training tool. During the time it was in his possession it didn't spill near as much as blood as it did the other times. This was mainly due to his James' nature in combating foes and the versatility he had with weaponry. He didn't have to rely on the blade as heavily as the past two wielders did. Soon enough it was time for it once again to switch hands, but this time the reasoning was a bit different. James died. With his dying breath he left this sword along with a numerous amount of weapons and items to Xavier which is how he came to acquire the blade today. When he received it, he was in the earlier stages of being a Jounin. There was some experience with swords there already, so he didn't have any problems using the weapon. But, unlike the other men in his family he wasn't a Master of Kenjutsu. Didn't matter much as his Father's death gave him an ambition unrivaled by most that when he used the blade during that period his family would be proud of him. Now in days, he usually carries the sword with him wherever he goes in memory of James, Xan, and Cain.
