Shinji awoke from his bed, yawning. What would he be doing today?

"Perhaps I need to take a break from the missions and start training. I haven't even discovered my element yet...I should get started on that if I want to amount to anything in this world."

Rubbing his eyes to alleviate some of the morning fatigue he had, he leapt off of his bed and headed to his bathroom so he could get rid of the pest known as morning breath. After he finished with that, he threw on some clothes and headed outside, making sure he packed some food for his training session. Before he even tried to practice his element, he would have to buy some chakra paper.

"I hope whatever element I have compliments my ability with the blade...hm. Fuuton or Raiton would certainly fit that task.."

So, he would head to the market district of Konohagakure and go to the ninja shop. He was walking at a slightly faster pace then usual. Although his face didn't show it, he was rather excited to find out what element he would have. Many people crowded the market district, especially since it was the afternoon.

"Father...aren't you excited too? You seem rather quiet today..thoughtful. You sure you're alright? Well..okay."

He was at the shop, and ordered the chakra paper.

"That'll be 900 pesos!"

It was a bit much, but Shinji could understand why. Finding out your element was a vital part of a ninja's life, so it would make sense why he would price it so high. Then again, it was usually the Jounin that bought this and gave it to there students..too bad he didn't have a squad..

Withdrawing the pesos from his pocket, he handed the cash towards the man and took the chakra paper, placing it safely inside of his pocket. He wouldn't test it out just yet. The Hyuuga wanted to save the surprise 'till he went to the training grounds.

Entering the training grounds after a walk, he sat down next to a pond and withdrew the paper out of his pocket. He focused his chakra in the paper, and waited. Then, the paper turned into shreds, the breeze carrying it off to who knows where. He just had an incredible growth as a shinobi.

"I must begin the study of Fuuton jutsu, immediately. Even though this is grounds for celebration, this still does not mean I can sit around and rest, wouldn't you agree Hotaru? I don't have the reserves to handle A-rank jutsu, but all fuuton are incredibly lethal. First..I'm feeling a bit hungry. I should eat some of that food I brought here."

Taking a sandwich wrapped in a cloth that was inside a leather bag, he happily took a bite out of it. He was a pretty decent cook even if he did say so himself. Well, technically you couldn't cook a sandwich but..

"Hn..this actually tastes pretty good. Maybe I can open a small shop just as a side job. I'm good at managing my money..I think I've saved up enough to open one if I wanted too. But, I guess I should get back to what I was doing."

But first, Shinji needed some more knowledge on fuuton. After finishing the sandwich, he pickef up his stuff and headed to the village's library for an in-depth guide on the art of wind.

"Father..I'll make you a wife for you! And a child..I just need to finish my wind jutsu training and my clan training..then we can be one big family!"
