Sasuto left out of his home at noon, walking down the broad crouded streets of Konoha, seeing Genin, Chuunin, Jounin and even civilians on his way to the Hokage Manor. Effortlessly, he climbed the tall steps leading to the manor like many other ninja did, and then entered it. After finding one of the Hokage's assistants in the main room, he requested to take a D-Rank mission. He found three piles of D-Rank missions, each of them somewhat tall. He reviewed all of the missions, and what piqued his interest was the "Chop it Down" mission that he did before. He'd used fuuma shurikens to cut them down, but some of the funds gained were provided to the genin who did the mission so they could do it properly. He headed off into the outskirts of Konohagakure, walking casually out of the village and making his way into a clearing on the border of the Land of Fire. From there, with multiple Genin he began to chop at a tree infront of him with the axe provided.
He chopped away, and finally with one last swing the tree tilted over and fell. He let genin who'd finished their job chop it into small pieces from there. He went to another tree, helping a genin and chopping at that one as well. This one took a little more effort due to it's broad width, which made it much more durable. After five minutes of chopping at the tree it finally fell over. The same group of genin from before had begun to chop that one into pieces as well. He continued to circle around the clearing with the help of many other genin, making it even wider as he chopped down trees and stripped them of their branches. However, he saved these branches for something important, for he didn't want to waste something so important. They'd finally met their match when they found a gigantic oak tree in the forest. Sasuto and the kid he fought before, Hikari, begun to swing with their best efforts to cut the tree, but the axes didn't make the tree budge, and the force of their blows recoiled, knocking the axes out of their hands and stunning them for one brief moment. Sasuto picked up his own axe, ignoring the recoil of the blows now that he expected them, and had begun to smash away at the side of the tree trunk.
Hikari did the same, infusing lightning into the axe and beginning to chop away at the wood as well. They were slowly making progress, surprisingly, and had made small cuts with all of the chops they'd thrown at the tree. But small cuts weren't enough to finish this job. An actual lumberjack walked forth, knowing that this mission required ten trees, and this was the last one. "Step aside yung'fellers."The man said, revealing his own handcrafted steel axe. He swiped a large portion of the wood with his axe. In a matter of seconds the tree was tipping over. It fell down beside Sasuto, whom was astonished by this man's power. The children began to chop up the wood, but when Sasuto looked to thank the man, he was gone. (537 words, 175 Ryo gained)
