Description: The village elders are expecting a shipment of important goods. Met with the NPC delivery man at the village gates, pick up the packages, and bring them back to the Administration building.
"Hey Takeshi-kun, do you know why they keep selecting us for all these... errands that they call missions?" The purple-haired girl asked her childhood friend curiously while they were walking through the village streets, in no particular hurry. This was the second errand-like mission that she had undertaken with her friend Takeshi, but at least this one was a little bit bearable. All they had to do was take these packages up to the Administration for the elders in the Village Council. They had collected them from a very brain-dead delivery man at the village gates, and they were now making their way through the crowded streets on their way to the destination. Chikami held the packages she had been allocated close to her chest, her gaze directed upwards a little so she could see over the stack she was holding. 'Surely we can't be too far away now.' She thought to herself, tilting her head to the side as she tried to debate how far away they were from the Administration Building.
She had gotten over the stress of their last mission together, evident by her very cool and calm demeanor. The other mission had been positively ridiculous, so she was more than glad that it was behind her now. While she wasn't too pleased by the fact that they were being given errands to complete for missions, she wasn't about to complain too much. After all, it was better than them actually having to go out of the village fight potentially dangerous foes. She knew that Takeshi would revel in that kind of mission, but she was none to pleased about doing something like that.
Regardless of her companion's earlier answer to her question, she would fall a little silent again and instead focus on their task at hand. In its own way, this mission was slightly important. The elderly people on their village council were indeed very old; she was surprised how they were still alive, half of the time. So they needed all the help they could get. She wasn't sure whether they used to be ninja or not, because they had all lived to a ripe old age. It wasn't lost on her that typically, a shinobi's life expectancy was greatly lowered from that of a civilian's. It was one of the many reasons why she never wanted to become a kunoichi, but here she was, completing missions for her village (in spite of how silly they were) and doing her duty. The pair of young Genin and old childhood friends slowly started to round a corner in Konoha's market district, and staight ahead of them was the place where they had to deliver the packages. 'Not far now.' She thought somewhat cheerfully, briefly turning her attention to the boxes and large envelopes she was carrying. What on earth had the elders ordered? It couldn't help but spark her interest.
Before long, they reached the building and headed inside to the front desk. Chikami stated her name and the business that she and her companion were carrying out, and left the numerous packages with the receptionist for that day. If she had been more vigilant, she would have noticed that many workers gave her slightly worried looks, as if she might lose her cool at any moment (due to the previous experience in this place when it came to missions). The two Genin were thanked for their time and work, given their pay and sent on their way. 'I can go and buy some nice new weapons to be stored inside Ichirou-kun with this.' She thought happily, looking at the small wad of Ryo in her grip. With that, she bid a friendly farewell to Takeshi and asked if he would like to accompany her for the rest of the day to relax. She also eagerly asked him if he wanted to meet her puppet, but she referred to him like he was a person. That aside, if her companion agreed, she would grasp his arm and lead him to the basic weaponry store that she used for stocking her latest creation. Today was at least going to be a good day.
