New Jutsu maybe? | Private

Hiryo had a quite unusual start to his day today. He had a weird dream last night about being able to fully manipulate the shadows like the legendary Gaara could with his strange sand. Hiryo didn't know what the dream meant but he wasn't going to let a dream like this just pass without trying to figure the meaning behind it so Hiryo got himself up at 3am just so he could begin his training. He had already been in the process of creating another jutsu so he didn't know exactly how the training was gonna work but instead just flowed with the events. He would find himself at a strange valley deep within the mountain range of Kumogakure where nobody could find him. Hm i need to know what it mean't? Hiryo would think to himself before performing a few hand signs just so he could get his hands warmed up and ready to roll. First off the jutsu he planned to practice was a custom jutsu he created a while ago but couldn't get the execution right. The jutsu was known as 'Shadow Puppet Strings'. A jutsu that is able to immobilize an opponent upon touch by completely trapping their ankles together with strings created from the shadows. It wasn't as easy as it sounded due to the amount of string required but Hiryo wasn't the quitter so he practiced and practiced and practiced until finally he could execute the jutsu without any hesitation. "As much as i want to be happy i still need to know what that dream was...." Hiryou would say softly under his voice looking up into the frighting grey clouds that took rest over the land of lightning. Hiryo was a very fast learner so he was able to quickly pick up the technique that was required for this jutsu and utilize it perfectly. The jutsu required perfect concentration as well as perfect accuracy and surprisingly enough, Hiryo had it. "Well... i guess that is that jutsu... i still need that dream to come true..." Hiryo would say with his crimson red eyes glimmering within the little sunlight that escaped through the dark grey clouds.

Several moments passed before Hiryo had the inspiration to try and live that dream he had. He got himself off the ground and closed his eyes focusing the best he could until finally he started to make small movements with his hands concentrating his chakra into his palms and connecting with the shadows. As he continued the movements began to increase and get bigger until finally they were big enough for the shadows beneath him to start rumbling. Is this it...? Hiryo would think to himself well continuing the movements however they started to shrink since he started losing concentration. Suddenly with a huge movement that sent his right hand into the sky, a shadow soon followed upwards that extended out to a 5x5m radius, huge enough to protect him from any incoming attacks. At the moment the shadow wasn't stable and still shaky until vanishing a few moments later. "Did i just do it...." Hiryo would stand there shocked from the jutsu he just did. He couldn't believe eyes.. he was able to manipulate the shadows like how Gaara manipulates his sand.. it was such an amazing feat. He wanted to fully master the jutsu so he continued to practice and practice until finally he could perform the jutsu without any mistakes. As cool as the jutsu was, it had one major flaw and that was the direction of the jutsu. The jutsu is only able to protect Hiryo from one direction and not multiply however he was able to shift the shield with small hand movements but if an attack was to attack all directions then this jutsu was pretty much useless however that didn't effect the opinion Hiryo had on the jutsu and that was awesome.
