Suzako smiled as he looked up at the sky. What a beautiful day! The sun was shining, the sky was blue with clouds here and there, and the weather was perfect! Suzako had a bunch of missions to do today, but they were only D-Rank missions. They shouldn’t be anything really all that difficult or much to worry about. After all, he did need the ryo to live off of, after all.

So, Suzako made his way into the village. He jumped up to the top of a nearby building, and he sat down on the edge of the building, his legs hanging off the side. He pulled out a small scroll from the inside of his cloak, and he pulled out the open end of the scroll and started reading. This was the copy of the mission scroll he had been given for his missions today. He had 10 missions total, and he was supposed to be doing them with his sensei, Oboro, the Otokage of the village.

Suzako wasn’t entirely all that sure why the Kage of the village felt the need to accompany him on this mission, but he supposed it was probably something like getting to know him. After all, when they start going out on real missions, they’ll need to know eachother and work together to complete their objectives, right?

But Suzako wasn’t quite ready for that. Nah, he’d need to wait until he got some proper Jutsu. Sure, he had his sword on him, a beautiful piece of craftsmanship, but that wouldn’t save him. Not by itself, anyways. So, Suzako jumped down onto the street below, pulling out a small cat statue he had been asked to go find by the shopkeeper.

The shopkeeper smiled and nodded, and asked him to deliver it to his daughter, who ran a small food shop near the center of the village. Supposedly, it was a good luck charm and the shopkeeper wanted his daughter to have it. The thought made Suzako smile a little. He missed his father, and wished he could see him again one day, but he didn’t dwell on the thought. After all, he still had his mother and older brother to look after.

So, Suzako set off. He jumped to the top of a nearby building, and looked over the village. He tried to find the name of the small shop… it was supposed to be some kind of Sushi place. Suzako scratched his head. He couldn’t seem to find it at all. Though, he supposed there wasn’t really much to see and he was probably just being blind. That was when he had an idea.

Suzako scanned the center of the village, as his eyes turned red. He was looking for masses of Chakra near certain spots of the village. Even regular civilians left a good chakra reading when packed together in one area. Well, enough to be noticed if one were looking, anyways.
So Suzako started jumping from building to building, heading towards the center of the village. He moved fairly quietly, or about as quietly as you’d expect a Genin to move. There wasn’t all that much that he needed to be sneaky about right now. Though, he did like the fact that he could walk on water and run up walls. He had even read about battles that Shinobi held while being on the side of a wall or hanging from a cealing. He wanted to have that kind of fight, one day. It seemed exhilarating! Though, now was not the time for such thoughts.

Eventually, Suzako landed infront of a small sushi shop, where he handed off the cat statue to a fairly attractive brunette woman, who thanked him. Suzako smiled and waved, and jumped off towards his next mission.

Oboro

Oboro was already awake before falling asleep the night before. He was in too much pain to go on any high rank missions due to the fact that Hobbes had kicked his ass with a sneak attack overnight. His side had a huge slash in the side of it was clear that he also had slash marks on his face. One was present above his eyebrow while the other followed his jaw line. He winced each time he even thought of the pain the tiger had put him through. Oboro grinned at the tiger that was now pushing a lawn mower beside him as the two trimmed the grass of those in need of a good long trimming. The two of them started extra early in order to be able to meet up with their new partner at the sushi shop. However, the two managed to finish both lawns in less than an hour thanks to their Taijutsu prowess. Oboro gave Hobbes a fist bump for praise.

Now it was time to pluck the weeds of the same area however. The flora of the area looked extremely extravagant and so the two would walk around the area and remove all of the gratuitously fertile flower killers of the area. They were particularly annoying due to their ability to spread across the ground near immediately with little resistance due to their ability to spread with the wind. What a task it always was to pick each and every one of them up one by one. Hobbes constantly had troubles with the dandy lions and so he just used his claws to slash away the stems of the plants, removing them swiftly. Oboro admired his ability to remove full patches all at once. He on the other hand was stuck picking them one by one. Each time he bent over, the pain in his side was more and more evident. "You really hit me hard there buddy." He said as he put the head of Hobbes.

However, that was around the time in which they had finished. It was finally time to meet up with his cousin at the sushi bar in the center of town. He made his way at a faster pace than most, traveling by rooftop. It was much faster than maneuvering through crowds. Besides, the Otokage would rather be one of the shadows. It took a short amount of time to find his cousin, and so he shouted out to him from about ten meters away. "Yo! Suzako!" He would say as he expected the boy to turn towards him. From behind, his black haired cousin seemed to be occupied in thought. He wore a black cape slash robe thingy as well. Oboro couldn't quite put his finer on what the outfit would be described as other than dark. However, it was kinda obvious that that was the way the majority of his kin were. They kept the apparel dark, similar to their features. Oboro was the only one of his kind that was so flashy and colorful, at least to his understanding.

Hobbes ran toward the younger Uchiha standing at the sushi bar and nuzzled against his leg, looking up at the man and expected to get a nice petting form the cousin of Oboro. They seemed to smell a bit alike.

Suzako sighed as he waited near the Sushi Shop for his Sensei. He understood they were supposed to be doing this as a team, but he had already done four missions! Not just the two he had just completed, that being finding the statuette for the shopkeeper, and then giving it to his daughter. No, he had also done his teaching duties and picked weeds for the day! Those two had been annoying. Well, the picking weeds had been annoying anyways.

Suzako thought back to when he had been picking weeds for the sake of the village. They were all centered around the Otogakure Administration building, and he hated it. It was a boring job, but at least it gave him a fair amount of money to go home with. After all, 200 Ryo was 200 Ryo. He remembered how he had sat down on his knees near the building, some ANBU members guarding near the top. He had even conversed with a few of the Jounin there who gave him some tips on weapon handling. One of them was even kind enough to give him an Earth Element scroll for him to learn from, after he had tested the chakra natures he had.

Eventually, Suzako had had enough of the waiting around for something to happen. He pulled out his blade that had been given to him by his father, which was named Fujin, and he began to start slicing at the weeds. He cut each and every single weed down in a swift motion, demonstrating his ability with Bukijutsu. Sure, he wasn’t quite as good as most people, but he was better than most of his class mates with Bukijutsu. It helped when deciding what starting equipment the instructors would give him. They gave him some Kunai and Shuriken, as well as explosives and smoke bombs. They even gave him a quick lesson on using the explosive bombs, as they hadn’t been allowed to at the academy due to safety concerns.

After Suzako had gotten done with weed-killing, he had moved onto the more fun part of his day. He was allowed to teach at the academy! For some reason, one of his sensei’s had decided that he needed a bit of help and had hired Suzako to help him. Suzako wasn’t exactly sure why he was picked to help, as he assumed you weren’t allowed to teach at the academy until you were a Chunin at best. But this had been an exception made for extenuating circumstances. He assumed his sensei of the academy had been injured on a mission or was sick or something, and was recouperating at the hospital. After all, missions were tough.

Though, Suzako didn’t mind. He liked teaching the kids how to use certain jutsu. He decided he should probably help out with their climbing jutsu. After all, learning how to climb trees and walk on water without the use of ones hands was a nessicary ninja skill! And Suzako was more than happy to teach these kids how to use it. He lead the kids outside shortly after he arrived at the academy. These kids couldn’t be more than six or seven years old, at best. They were probably new students to the academy, and Suzako remenised about his first days at the Academy. It was more than he had expected, but he got through it, just like these kids would .

Suzako had gone and demonstrated the technique at first, before he activated his Sharingan eyes. His eyes scared the kids at first, until Suzako explained that he could see Chakra using these eyes, which would better help with showing the kids where to flow their chakra to so they could stick to the trees. He went on to explain that one must pool their chakra at the balls of their feet in order to use the technique, as the chakra would stick them to the end of the tree. Shortly after, they got the technique down, and Suzako had said goodbye to them and went off to do more missions.

That lead up to him helping the shopkeeper, and turning to see his Sensei, Oboro. His little tiger came up to Suzako and started rubbing on his leg, and Suzako couldn’t help but smile. “Well aren’t you a friendly one?” Suzako asked, as he leaned down to pick up the big cat, and hold it in his arms. He gave the cat a few scratches on it’s ears, before smiling at Oboro. “I’ve already got four missions done, Oboro-sensei.”

Oboro smiled as his cousin pet Hobbes. He felt as if the villagers had been spoiling the feline rotten, feeding him their scrap meats as well as showing him mass amounts of attention. However, Oboro did not mind in the slightest due to the fact that the tiger had been participating in missions as well as doing his job thoroughly. As a ninja ranked pet, he was expected to do everything that lower level ninja in the village were capable of and Oboro would not allow his creature to slack off on its duties. However, he had no reason to scold his cat for the moment and so he let it be praised by Suzako. "Sorry it took so long for us to show up, we were finishing up a few jobs around the village. At that moment he would hear about how many missions Suzako had finished and raise a brow with a smile on his face. "So, you've already finished four then? Not bad timing. Hobbes and I have finished three so far. We have plucked some pesky weeds, cut a few lawns as well as partrolled the village early this morning. Not much action lately aside form the Barbarians and Summoners and they only show up when they feel extra bold." He smiled casually before remembering that compliments could be used to enforce positive behavior between allies. "Great job on the missions by the way. You're making excellent timing, beating even me for the moment." He would have to get this sensei thing under control as soon as possible. He needed ways to motivate Suzako as well as his twin and cousin.

At that moment, Oboro gestured for Suzako as the two would be completing yet another two missions somewhat simultaneously. They would need to collect christmas ornaments around the village for Mrs. Miwa as she seemed to be somewhat of a collector of the arts. He would explain the situation to his student. "So, I have two things I need to deliver. One is a letter addressed across town. Another is a package to be delivered.. also across town. There is a gift shop where I am heading as well. We need to find some christmas ornaments for our employer. So, I need you to search around this part of town. We'll meet back up here afterwards. Should I show up late, feel free to complete any more missions in the area." On that mark, he and his tiger sprinted off into the distance, climbing directly up a building before hopping form roof top to roof top in order to acquire maximum speed with little friction. While running, he observed the package that rested in his hand. It was in a manilla box wrapped with a bright red ribbon. It looked extremely informal, as if it was a gift to another. However, the box was incredibly light. The texture felt a little rough as most manilla wasn't exactly as smooth as paper. However, it felt as if something very special lied within the package. He looked down at Hobbes who seemed to focused to be lost in thought as he was and smiled at the tiger before hopping off of the rooftops and landing in front of the house that required the package. He knocked on the door three times before a short old lady opened it, happy to see the Otokage. "Courier here. I have a package from this address. though it seems to be scribbled on and was hard to read. I think its this house." He would say with a nervous smile to the lady who's face what lit up. She was rather wrinkly with worn , tan skin. However, her glasses covered the bags under her eyes effectively. She had a chain of beads that wrapped below her neck, acting as a piece of jewelry as well as a support in case the glasses fell. She quickly opened the package, revealing a tiny marionette that seemed to be hand painted. The lady explained that her grandson liked to create dolls and that she had a full collection of the sort. Oboro blushed at the story, forced to excuse himself before he was late to the sushi bar.

Luckily, right down the street was where he was to deliver the letter. He simply walked at a leisurely pace to the mail slot and slid the letter through it, not too curious as to what it contained. However, the harder part was now as he was forced to go to the collectable shop and search for luxurious christmas items for the lady requiring them. He found the shop with ease, as it was rather worn down for looks. Though it seemed to be this way on purpose as it added an antique vibe. He talked with the clerk about the item of his choice and the man showed him a few he could get for cheap. So Oboro got a half dozen and immediately made his way back to the sushi bar while holding the items extremely carefully as five of them felt as if they were made of porcelain. The other one was clearly wooden.

It did not take long at all before he and Hobbes had found their way back to the sushi bar with the items needed. He seemed to have arrived before Suzako, and so he would stop and buy a nice little box of Octopus. He had never tasted it before but to be frank, it wasn't as bad as he expected. Naturally, he ordered a bit of fish for Hobbes as well.
