It was an wonder full day the sun was high in the sky no gloomy clouds were in sight, but that wasn't the case for Garuda really. As today was just another day Shana wasn't here with him, but he was getting used to it very slowly. He had Nana at least and also his friend, Shinsui, and also his little brother. So he had no reason to be to sad about his life right now as he had some people to fill the void he had in his heart. So what Garuda would be doing today is beating his brother in a competition to complete more missions, which Garuda truly believed he would win. As Garuda was to be able to take care of many task quickly and with extreme ease, as he has done that from a very young age and has only gotten better. He already had missions that he was allowed to get, with the permission from his brother, and was already heading to complete them. The first one would be helping out some shop owner. Garuda would make it to the shop and enter, and walking up the counter he would spot a man sweeping."Are you the one who needed assistance?" Garuda would ask, but he wouldn't be met with an answer right away as the man would begin to say something to himself. Something that seemed to be a poem.
The man spoke low and Garuda would be only able to hear a few things he would say in the beginning, but moving closer he would hear it clearly. Garuda thought the man's voice had sorrow within it, but at the moment didn't understand why he would say those things. The man repeated his poem again and Garuda would finally catch everything he would say.
"In a dark time, the eye begins to see,
I meet my shadow in the deepening shade;
I hear my echo in the echoing wood—
A lord of nature weeping to a tree.
I live between the heron and the wren,
Beasts of the hill and serpents of the den.
What’s madness but nobility of soul
At odds with circumstance? The day’s on fire!
I know the purity of pure despair,
My shadow pinned against a sweating wall.
That place among the rocks—is it a cave,
Or winding path? The edge is what I have.
A steady storm of correspondences!
A night flowing with birds, a ragged moon,
And in broad day the midnight come again!
A man goes far to find out what he is—
Death of the self in a long, tearless night,
All natural shapes blazing unnatural light.
Dark, dark my light, and darker my desire.
My soul, like some heat-maddened summer fly,
Keeps buzzing at the sill. Which I is I?
A fallen man, I climb out of my fear.
The mind enters itself, and God the mind,
And one is One, free in the tearing wind."

Garuda would look around the shop quickly and see that no one was here but the old man, and it seemed this place was kinda falling apart and that is also was a bar. Garuda was about to ask again what the man had needed but the guy would turn around and begin to speak directly to Garuda,"O child, what I desire is to once again see this place in the glory it used to be. I wish for people to come in and enjoy themselves at my bar and for it to have the appearance that those of high would deem worthy." the old man would tell Garuda. He wouldn't say anything else even when Garuda spoke, as the old man had given his request and wished for it to be done.
"Hmm, fixing this place up..and also bringing people in...I think I can do that." Garuda would say as he ran his hand through his head. Garuda was about to walk away and begin but the guy would place his hand on Garuda's shoulder,"Hmm?"
"I almost forgot! Deliver this package child and also help my wife outside with her garden..it is in the back. So hurry up!" The old man would say and then return to sweeping, after placing the package and where to deliver it on the counter. The package had a two letters attached to it, one telling where to take it and another concealed one. The old man would again return to saying his poem, and wait for Garuda to leave and take care of the tasks he was given.
"Okay, and stop calling me a child old man! Show me respect!" Garuda would say as he took the package and left the bar. Garuda would hear the old man chuckle at what Garuda said, and this made Garuda sigh. Garuda respected the elderly greatly but that guy kinda pissed him off, as calling Garuda a child was really disrespectful. But Garuda shouldn't really be mad about it since he calls many people children, even if they are his age. As he determines a person's age by their wisdom and power, and from the old man calling Garuda a child meant his wisdom and power was in question. And as Garuda walked he would think about that, as that was something he never really thought about. "Am I child? Does the wisdom I have gained over the years...not compare to that mans? Is my power that of some of lower standard? Who is that old guy?" Garuda would ask himself as he made it to the place he was supposed to deliver the package to, the place was the post office. "Eh? The fuck did he have me take this here for?" Garuda would ask as he entered and went up the counter.
A man, a bit older then Garuda would be there,"What ya want? We are really busy right now and won't be able to deliver that package of your right now." he would say pointing at the package in Garuda's hand. The guy looked like he had been having a truly bad day and irritation was all over his face, but Garuda didn't care. "I don't give a fuck! Now take this." He would say as he put the package on the counter. The guy would read it and laugh,"HAHAHAHA! Nevermind what I said friend. This package is for me...from my father! I thought that old bastard forgot about my birthday!" As the guy talk Garuda would sigh, as this was really getting dumb and confusing. "Hey! Can I ask you to do something for me?"
"Sure, go right ahead..I have been taking request all day anyway.." Garuda would say as he crossed his arms around his chest and awaited for the guy to tell him what he wanted done, as Garuda had to a mission from the post office to take care of anyway and could just use this request as the mission.
"I need you to take this to my mother! We are busy here and I won't have time to do it myself." The guy would say as he would force Garuda to take the letter/note. Garuda would sigh as he had completed one task to be sent to do another, but at least it was in the same place. Garuda would let Nana hold on to the letter and walk out of the post office, heading back to the bar. He planned to deliver the letter and then help the women with her garden and then fix up the bar. Garuda truly had a lot on his plate right now, but he felt he could do those things before the day was over. As he walked someone with a extremely large dog would stop him,"Hey cutie!~ Take care of my lovely baby for a while. I need to take care of some important things and I can't take him with me...I will make it worth your while~" the women would say as she made Garuda take the lease, which he happily did. Garuda truly was a sucker for women especially when they said they would give him things. Garuda's face would turn bright red when she would hug him and walk away," O and feed wash and play with him for me!" she would say before hurrying away.
Garuda was now dragging this dog that was bigger then him back to the bar, but something else would cause him to stop and be unable to do that right now. Nana would begin to chirp loudly and fly into a random direction, well to Garuda."What is it!" Garuda would ask as ran after the bird, the dog running also now. The three would stop as they spotted a bunch of kids, seemingly Academy Student sitting outside of their school."Shit, I all most forgot about them..." Garuda would say as he just remembered that he was supposed to be substituting a class today. Luckily Nana remembered and Garuda could now live up to his promise to teach the class." Kids! Sorry I am late I am your teacher for the day...so follow me I will teach you somewhere else. Teaching in a class isn't my style." Garuda would tell them. The kids would listen as Garuda was a bit scary, and they didn't want to be hurt and because he had a freaking huge dog behind him. SO now Garuda was back heading to the bar to take care of the first things he was supposed to be doing.
They all made it and Garuda would tell the kids their first task was to start cleaning up the bar, as to learn what he was about to teach them they would need to do that. Garuda would go to the back of the shop with the dog and Nana and give the letter to the old women tending to her garden. She would smile once given the letter and tell Garuda to help mow her law first and the neighbors, and then help with the garden. Garuda would sigh and do as he was told. Everything he had done before mowing lows had only take about two hours and mowing the lawns took itself about thirty minutes. But when Garuda came to assist the lady with the garden she would tell him to come inside, as lunch had been prepared for everyone. Hungry he would go inside and see that all the kids and the old man were eating, and plates for the dog, Nana, and Garuda were waiting to be grabbed."Thanks!" Garuda would say as he ate, also while he ate he would begin writing somethings. And after finishing his food before everyone would be able to write a bunch of letters," Nana go and hand theses out, please. And make sure my brother gets his last." Garuda would say as he put a pouch around Nana and put the little note sin it. Nana would nob and fly out of the shop. "Now to wash you!" Garuda would say as he took the dog outside and to the pretty large pond in the back, the kids also would follow him.
Garuda would begin to wash the dog, the old women brought out some soap for him to use. The kids would just watch as they wanted Garuda to teach them a jutsu like he promised. "Crap, almost forgot. All of you walk on the water." Garuda would tell them and would see that none of them could do it. "Okay, since none of you can do this...I want you guys to focus chakra to your feet. And when you think you got it try to walk on the water. If you are not able to do this keep trying..take break if you need to. And then try again. You kids look capable and should be able to do this, so believe in yourself and go at it!" Garuda would tell them with a smile as he continued to wash the dog, who seemed to want to keep moving around which got annoying.
The old couple would have been watching this the whole time and a smile would be on their face, as watching Garuda teach the kids and wash that dog amused them. "He sure seems to be a happy one." The old women would tell her husband as she lean't on his shoulder."Actually my love. That child is the saddest person I have every met in my life..." The old man would tell her as his smile faded and he would go back inside. His words were nothing but the truth, but the old woman didn't understand. But she couldn't say anything bout it so she went back to tend to her garden.
"Done! Now I have to finish helping with the garden and clean up!" Garuda would say as he went over to the old women and sat next to her, and began to help her with the garden by copying what she did. He would do this for about a few hours before it they two of them would finally finish. Garuda would head inside whit the old man, and also the children. It was time to get this place looking good, especially since Garuda had sent Nana to hand out invitation to many people. As Garuda was going to surprise the old man with many customers of all ages, as the children were already here and their parents and other villagers would soon come. Garuda would get right to work and the children would also help out, as this shop wasn't just a bar as that was only part of it. As part of the building was full of junk and forced the old man to just run this place as a bar, as it was obvious such a old man could move all of that himself. And since the old man's son probably was busy working at the post office he might not be able to help at all, but that wouldn't matter anymore. As the combined efforts of Garuda and the Academy student let them clear out the space. Now the place looked like a restaurant that just needed to be cleaned, which wouldn't take long. As everyone, the children, the old couple, and Garuda, would begin to do what was needed to make the place presentable. "And done with cleaning!" Garuda would say as he would walk over to the old man and place his hand on the guy's shoulder, "Get ready, we are about to get a lot of business! So time to cook old man!" Garuda would tell the old man even though he knew the guy wouldn't be cooking, as the old man would serve as the bartender. At this time Nana would come back and show that she had given out all the invitations, and also took care of another job for Garuda. That other job being to check for anything suspicious around the village, which she didn't fine. As Garuda was about to head to the back to start cooking the women who handed him the dog would come into the shop,"Ugh, I can't find a job at all. Seems like nobody is hiring..what a drag.." She would mumble as she walk over to Garuda,"Thanks for watching my dog, cutie. I will pay you what I can." She would tell Garuda.
"No, pay me after you do your job. If i is okay with the old man you can work here and help them out. They need it. "Garuda would say as he stopped her from digging into her purse and handing him his payment, he wanted her to pay him after she got herself settled. The old man smiled at what Garuda said and walked over to the women and told her she could work her, that it wasn't a big deal to him. Garuda would then head to the back to start, as more people began to enter the place. Garuda at first started to cook but the son of the owner would come and take his place, telling Garuda he was going to help out and that Garuda could rest now. Garuda was fine with that as he was tired, so he would sit up at the bar. Well after the children from the Academy went home, as it did get a bit late. Garuda would be given a drink as he finished all the task he had today, and still could do more, but he wouldn't. He had to wait for his brother to come, but as he waited he would look around the restaurant and see many people."Hmm, seems this place is jumpen!" He would say as he took another sip from his drink. As time passed and it got later and later into the night, only those who wanted a drink would be in the restaurant. "Seems things have died down, but Oboro isn't here..."Garuda would say as he looked around the restaurant once again. The women who just got hired was resting in a booth and the old man was sweeping. The old woman had went to bed hours ago and the son was probably in the kitchen cleaning up, as closing time would be coming soon.
"Hmm, fixing this place up..and also bringing people in...I think I can do that." Garuda would say as he ran his hand through his head. Garuda was about to walk away and begin but the guy would place his hand on Garuda's shoulder,"Hmm?"
