A room that was what you had been in with other Genin teams before being shoved into a hallway, the door closed behind you. Small the hallway was, not being enough space for those within to walk side by side, forcing them to walk behind one another, but that doesn’t matter much for you see a door a couple feet away. With the door behind you being locked, you and your group decide to head towards the door a couple feet in front of you. Upon opening the door, you walk into a room a little larger than the one you had left. Once all have stepped into the room, the door closes behind you of its own accord, preventing you from going back.

Hidden within this badly lit, grey walled room are two plaques that have a riddle written on it. Near one of these plaques is a lever, which must be turned the right way in order for you to advance to the next test, and the riddles will assist you in making the right choice. Written upon the plaque closes to the lever is the following:

I am a button
That cannot be pushed or pulled
But when moved in the right way
I will show you your dream
But if moved wrongly
You will crash and burn

On the other plaque, the following is written:

I am a wall
Yet I am a Door
If you can find me
You can pass
But if you can't
You will fall

Armed with these two riddles and a lever that is your gateway to the next test, you and your team must now figure it out.

[Each member of the squad has 3 posts to figure out the riddle and how the lever factors into things. If you and your squad cannot figure it out in 3 posts, your team won’t be advancing to the next stage. Utilize the lever improperly, well that shall remain a surprise.]

Wahyu followed the pathway of his team mates as he watched several other teams go into different sections. His eyes wander around the estate seeing at least sixty other teams. As he, and his fellow comrades took their final step into the chamber the door dropped shut on them sealing their only escape route. The rotations of the gears could be heard as they pistons shot forth locking their dimension. Instantly a flame ignited about two meter apart from the himself, and his squad giving a better panorama. He stood directly before the stone diagram, he drove his forehead protector into the plaque a multitude of times as he continued to read the code. His unorthodox rhythm came to a halt as he finished his study. Wahyu's body swayed from left to right as his eyes caught sight of the lever. It was like it polarized him calling out for his grip. Wahyu's left paws gripped upon the crimson handle. He turned his head towards the orange haired shinbo, and the black haired shinobi. His wrist twisted clockwise as began rotating the lever's handle to the right waiting to see if something happened.

Akki would run into the room just as his partner was aiming to turn the lever in a clockwise motion. Before he would be able to turn it Akki would cry out and aim to tackle him away from the lever, stopping his action. Even if he missed the tackle this would provide ample amount of a distraction to stop Wahyu from his actions. Akki would stand up, brushing himself off as he looked at his partner. "Are you crazy? These exams are meant to test us you cant just go in willy nilly and do what ever you want you baka." Akki would glare at his partner, baring his enlarged canines before calming himself and reading the riddles himself. Akki lightly exhaled, making a humming noise. He now just had time to read the riddles, pondering them. He was well scribed in fuin, giving him some more knowledge when it comes to writing than the average person. Basically they were standing in a trap, and had only one move to make the right choice or they were screwed. Akki continued to ponder, then looked back at his team. "Okay, we have one shot to make this count. Who here has any wind skill or something we can use to try and perceive past these riddles? Something to see past the walls or to tell if theres something hidden around here. We have to find something before we make our next move..."

Jake Haruno

Jake Haruno

Being treated so roughly kind of annoyed the young male, Jake was rather happy that his other friend Wayhu was  taking part in the Chuunin exams, Since the fall out with the Raikage Jake had not seen Wahyu, he hoped there was no bad blood due to the way he had left things with The Raikage.. He was though in the room with another Kumogakure genin known as Akki, Thankfully the two knew each other, well slightly. It seemed that this was the team for Kumogakure and if Jake were being honest...he fuckign loved it. Jake knew as a kumogakure genin to help out his fellow shinobi. As they were forced into the room Haruno would take a look around noting that the other genin within the exams were not in the same room. So it was only team raikage for now. As Wayhu reached for the lever Jake was about to make a move but Wahyu had been halted by Akki. He smiled gently as he then began to read allowed.

"I am a button
That cannot be pushed or pulled
But when moved in the right way
I will show you your dream
But if moved wrongly
You will crash and burn"

Sighing gently he would focus on the button part. "Ok, a button that can't be pushed or pulled. Well that leaves it being rotated or slid.," he would finish as Akki began to speak. Wind release or sensory, perfect for Jake as he held both those elements. He was armed with his shinobi tools and his fan of course. His chakra would begin to fluctuate gently as his sensory ability kicked in. He would be sensing for chakra and its traces, Perhaps chakra was how these mechanisms worked...He had to be prepared for anything. "I'm sensing the room as we speak" he would say to his group.

Once the young Kumogakure shinobi began sensing he would feel two strands of chakra coming from the lever. One going to one of the walls and making a 3 meters and 2 meter rectangle. The other going into the floor and then spiderwebbing throughout the entire thing.

They seemed to be getting low on Oxygen as they talked and tried to search for more clues. The room becoming slightly stuffy.

Jake Haruno

His sensory though limited had granted him a vision of something that the others could not see, "There is chakra in the room, Strands tied to the lever, one strand goes to the wall and makes a rectangle, while the other goes all the way through the floor" Jake would say, as he talked about the strings he would point to the wall when mentioning that area and of course point to the string and its route. When talking about the floor he would point and trace the route with his finger to show his team mates. His breathing was getting harder, the room was low on oxygen so he would act. His hands moved to his fan and unclipped it gently. Placing the fan in front of the lever open he would pray this was right. The fan now being open, Jake would place his hand to his lips giving his team the universal sign of silence. Pulling both of them on to the fan he would be prepared for the worst. If his sensory was right, and he screwed this up the floor would crumble. He would with care take the lever in his hand and begin to twist it to the right, With the spider web like chakra thread on this side he was hoping this would activate the rectangular like chakra attached to the thread.  He had to be right, he did not want to be the genin to fuck this up for his entire squad. Now the fan under the three would not just be for show, Jake was also flowing chakra into it, ready to activate the technique if everything went tits up. Rotating it to the right, If this did not work he hoped his team mates had a back up plan.

Wahyu's body was blindsided by Akki. Wahyu fell to the floor immediately, and his attention was now verified upon lever. As he arose to his feet dusting off his clothes he gathered his mind swiftly. As Jake began a jutsu to gather information as Akki continued to blabber. Wahyu decided it was time to address Akki.

"Wahyu...not...crazy... No touch... Wahyu...again..."

Wahyu spoke in a harsh but slow paced tone. He returned his acumen to his friend, and squad mate. While during the small scuffle Lord Orange had discovered details about what revolved behind the door. He shared the details indicating which string was where, what it led to. After he finished explaining Jake removed his tool, an item that appeared to be a fan. Something Jake was pretty proficient with. As Jake made his way towards the lever Wahyu reacted on instinct.

"Wait!...Let Wahyu Try...."

He stated from behind his mask as his hands began weaving hand signs in a chain of rhythm as the Majin summoned his chakra. Wahyu exhaled as their oxygen became less and less, and a bit diluted but he had given birth to a jutsu. Wahyu walked forward as the chakra molded around his arm giving off a light blue illumiantion. Wahyu gently aimed his jutsu to bisect the chakra strand behind the wall. His accuracy was very well on point he had severed the connection successfully as Jake had directed him which one held to the door, and which one held to the floor. The Shinobi bowed his head, as his mouth became dry from shallow amount of oxygen the trio had used.

Jutsu Used.

The wall which he attempted to reach through with chakra scalpel began to give off a metallic hum as the chakra began penetrating it. The thick walls and non-conductive material seemingly dampened the effects of the chakra scalpel. This left the chakra thread connecting the lever to the door whole.

Akki

Akki sighed as the two made their actions, one being interrupted and the other attacking the wall where the supposed chakra strings would be. Akki looked at the lever, the plaques, and where the wall would be. That's when it hit him.The riddles were both a farce as well as meant to confuse the genin. The first riddle stated that the lever was a button, that couldnt pushed or pulled but when moved in the right direction would show them their dreams, and the next was about finding the door to their freedom. That made Akki think, if the lever was moved in the opposite direction of the door, both being the wrong direction as well as not towards the door, he would fail both riddles. Akki stood up straight and drew in as much stale air as he could, holding it.

Akki walked up to the lever, passing both of his team mates as time was running short. He firmly gripped the handle and moved it in the direction of the hidden door. Akki had himself ready incase a trap activated, hold his free hand out and steady. The only thing to do was to wait for what would happen next...

The genin did not wait for his companions to give insight into his plan as he slowly moved the lever to the left. Then it happened. A great rumbled noise that reverberated in their very soul. It sounded as if the room was going to collapse.

The lever grinding against the sides until it was locked into place on the left.  Then the entire room began shaking violently.  It was as if the room was collapsing in on itself.  Something they should be afraid of.  And as quickly as it had started, it stopped.  Then with an audible hiss and a gust of fresh, cool wind rushed into the room.  Ahead of them was a dark tunnel that carried a strong breeze from deep within the depths of the tunnel.  All they could hear was the wind gusting.
