Ryuu hated hospitals, they smelled of death and disinfectant which was not a good smell at all, he had stumbled into the hospital after using up quite a pit of his chakra which got him a scolding that he accept from a pretty nurse though he said he was fine just a bit tired. The biggest problem was the absolute boredom that came with sitting around waiting to recover his chakra in this place, it was so depressing he thought as he walked around in the halls trying to find something interesting to do. The first thing he came upon was a line of wheelchairs that didn't look like they were about to be used so he plopped himself in one and began to roll around without a care. It was honestly a little harder than he thought it would be, his light blue eyes watching his hands as he tried to make a sharp turn only to fall over with a loud thump.

Didn't hurt much so he got up and kept playing around with it until he had a hang of the turns and now it was time to test the speed he thought to himself a bit excitedly which might be a bit immature but he didn't really care. One would think he wouldn't be doing such a thin in the hospital as it was going to get him in trouble speeding through the halls like that but that was only if they caught him. He didn't slow down weaving around people that might have gotten in the way, it wasn't until a gurney rolled out right in front of him that he messed up unfortunately. He managed to weave around it but his head smacked right into the corner sending him to the floor and the hospital staff were on him like bums to a baloney sandwich. They helped him up made sure he was okay and then they shooed him out like the troublesome young man he was, could have been worse he thought as he left.

Once again he was back in the place he hated, he wished he could have just gone home but it was mandatory to go to the hospital to get checked up on at the least, the medical staff told him the same thing as last time satay here for a while and then he could leave when he had recovered. So now he was going to have to find something to do in this boring detestable place, he had already played around with the wheelchairs the last time he was here so he was thinking that they wouldn't be all that interesting to play around with again. For a little while he just walked around with nothing to do until he found his way into the children's ward where a few of them were playing around acting out their favorite stories. Children were usually more enjoyable company than adults as children were more honest than adults, you asked them how you looked and often they'd tell you the truth rather than saying you look good in a terrible outfit.

He stayed there for a little bit watching them play refusing to get dragged into their games just enjoying their boundless energy before walking off to find something else to do. He made his way to the courtyard where there were a few different people, he found himself watching two elderly gentlemen who were sitting in the shade of tall but thin tree playing shogi. That was a game he just couldn't figure out, he got the basics but the level of strategies that some people could play was too far for him to comprehend, these two for example were playing out strategies at a frightening pace, their hands placing tiles down with speed that did not match their age. Well he couldn't keep up with them so he decided that it was time to go.
