Kamui Senju's Weapons/Items [DONE]

Name: Jizo
Type: Sword [Nodachi]
Appearance:

A 70 inch (5.8  ft) long Nodachi with a 5 ft blade, weighing 5.3 pounds. The blade is made of durable and flexible steel forged in the japanese style. The hilt guard is made of bronze and plated with gold, and the long hilt is made of bronze and layered in leather cording for cushion for the hand(s). It is stored within a bullhorn sheath, finished with stingray skin as is tradition.

Special Abilities: Jizo allows the user to conduct a chakra flow down and around the blade that makes it twice as sharp as a normal sword of A rank, and extends it's reach by an additional foot when this ability is activated.

Origin:

The Nodachi known as Jizo once belonged to Kamui's grandfather, Shenlong Senju. It was a masterfully crafted sword made in times f war to aid Shenlong in his battles against his adversaries and the enemies of the Senju Clan as well as the enemies of Konoha. Shenlong had this sword specifically crafted for him, for his height and his strength were great, able to balance the blade even in one hand. Jizo is named after a Shinto God who saw after the protection of children and travelers, and was associated also with watching over the graves of the deceased. It is a name befitting a weapon that is used for protecting the ones you love, and for waging war against those who would harm your family and your charge.

Shenlong used this sword from the age of Chuunin on up until he became a Sannin, and shortly after, passed away. It was given upon his death to is son, Eiji Senju, and once Eiji had his own son who was of age and height to use the nodachi, it was given ti Kamui. Even though Eiji betrayed his views of protecting the children of the village, in the hands of Kamui, the sword once more would be used for good, for the true good of Konoha, in aiding the protection of it's people and their allies. In Kamui's hands with his Mastery of the art of swordsmanship, he can wield Jizo just as good as his grandfather Shenlong could, if not better.

A 3 foot long Katana, weighing 3.6 lbs. It's made of steel in the japanese style, and the hilt is made of bronze and covered in blue leather cording. The hilt guard is steel and plated in silver, having a Yin-Yang and eye symbol around it.

Origin:

It's japanese name means 明美, "Bright, Beauty". Akemi is a katana that was forged in the Muramasa style, for Senju Shenlong, Kamui's Grandfather. Akemi is the partner sword and companion to the massive nodachi named Jizo. Like Jizo, Akemi was forged in a time of war in Konohagakure, and it was the make and use of Akemi to protect the village of Konoha, it's people, and it's allies. The name Akemi is also a counterpart to the color vermillion, a bright and burning red color. Akemi therefore harnesses the strength an might of Konoha's will of fire. It was said that when Kamui's Grandfather got this blade forged for him by a masterful traveling sword smith, that that he was truly happy, however at the time, the blade didn't have a name. The sword remained nameless until Shenlong could think of a proper one, and finally when it came to him, it was because he had met the love of his life that he wished to have his children with and continue the bloodline of the Senju. His beloved's name was Akemi Gazohara, and she had come seeking refuge in Konoha from a destroyed lesser village. It was Kamui's Grandfather Shenlong who offered her help and a place to live, and he had even helped her regain her health, after which they fell deeply in love. However, one night Akemi was murdered in her sleep while Shenlong was away on a mission. She was killed by assasins meaning to cause trouble for the Senju, and they'd struck him right where it hurt the most, knowing that Shenlong would seek revenge. Shenlong eventually did find the killers, and he fought them to the death, though he was wounded bad, he had still defeated his enemies, and he went home having peace in his heart, for he'd slain the evildoers.
