Mission:

Still a myriad of meters away from the Thunder Grounds, the young Genin eyed the location from his current location. The area was just now starting to spawn rock formations in the form of waist high protrusions with sharp and some rounded ends. Lightning raced to the earth and the shout of thunder endlessly came in second place immediately after the pure white crooked stripes. The area smelt scorched from these bolts of death, but the area did have some promise. Legend has it Kumogakure Shinobi that are destined to be great train here when they're young and Sachio was here to try his luck. Each of his sandal padded steps seemed rushed and one could see the tightness he held in his chest if they watched his demeanor closely.

The emerald optics of the boy were sharpened to fine points as the actual cornea shifted side to side, widening as each bolt touched down in his general vicinity. Only one area in the Thunder Grounds was safe and that area was a giant rock about 20m in height, atop this rock was a metal rod that served as a lighting rod, making 10m all around the behemoth stone safe. There, in that circle of divination is where Meech sat cross legged as he tightened his headband and mentally prepared himself for the trial he was about to put himself through.

Clad in a shadow colored cloak, that was slightly opened in the front, he would remove it in due time to reveal the traditional Cloud Shinobi uniform for ninjas that operated out in the fields rather than in the village. Stone grey overlong hooded shirt. Black ninja pants that were suffocated at the shins, by bandages and finally a pair of black ninja sandals. As previously stated his headband was around his head, locks of dirty blonde barely falling over it. On his right hip then sat a Kusarigama. A rather uncommon weapon, but nothing unseen in the ninja world.

Izo was on his way to the Thuder Grounds to train some things or maybe see some sights that might be lurking around the beautiul land scape that Kumogakure no Sato has to offer. The young lad's sandals brushed away the leaves around his feet with each step on the ground along with crushing each lead not fortunate enough to get the small bit of a wind pocket to make it's escape. The forest wasn't holding many trees as it was just a small patch of such surrounding the Thunder Grounds that itself withheld a multitude of rocks protruding from the ground, some sharp enough to break throuh skin and some dull and rounded off enough for one to stand on without the use of chakra if one were to master balancing. ~

Izo had been around here in his time in Kumogakure, he wasn't born here only migrated from Sunagakure but that has been some time ago. The Uzumaki clan member has had time to get familiar with his new village enough to know where thins are and what they are as well as what they could be used for. A simple job of the Anbu is being able to know anything and everything at all times and this would befall upon Izo as well as he was an Anbu of the Land of Clouds. ~

Crunching would cease abruptly and his right hand would grasp what would seem to be the last tree in the patch of forestry the young lad was walking through to get to his destination. Izo jumped up the tree using normal means instead of chakra and would finally be atop the tree looking outward over the Thunder Grounds and would notice some things about his beloved training grounds. His eyes squinted as a strike of lightning would come crashing down followed by an instant flash of light that would most certainly blind for a moment anyone if they were foolish enough to stare blankly into it for even a second. This was the dangers of the Thunder Grounds and if you weren't a native of this beautiful place then you wouldn't know the secrets but obviously there was someone who knew these secrets. Izo's eyes perceived some larger rock amongst most others in the middle and this is the rock with the lightning rod making it safe for a set amount of space. This is where Izo was going to meet up with a younger shinobi of the village. ~

With each lightning strike coming in seemingly at random Izo began to catch on to the little pattern that the Thunder Grounds had to offer. The first lightning strike would come and the thunder would sound twice, then another would come and the sound of thunder would echo through the mountains allowing you to hear it three times, and after that another lightning strike would come crashing down echoing the thunder sound of that one for five times over until starting over. The last lightning strike crashed down and Izo dashed onto the rocks soon after. One... The young Uzumaki thought to himself counting the sounds he heard the thunder from the lightning strike, he moved swiftly between the rocks using various and random amounts of chakra mixed with jumping atop rounded off spikes so he could move along the rocks perfectly. Two... He counted the second time he heard the thunder and that marked the second lightning strike to come about but it was too late, Izo had already made it to the safe zone. ~

His body jumped over the edge of the rock as he made his entrance in front of this boy who seemed to be holding the Kumogakure headband on his forehead in the most traditional manor as well as a Kusarigama on his right hip. "How interesting. A Kusarigama, I've never seen those in combat before, interesting choice. What's your name young blood?" Izo's voice is muffled a little bit speaking through his Anbu mask, speaking on the young lad's weapon choice and would go on asking the boy's name as he was obviously a native to Kumo. Izo himself was wearing the common Anbu attire atop his red fishnet shirt with black sweatpants and at the bottom is the man's black sandals. Izo always made sure to carry his dagger sword on his right hip as well, holstered of course. The thing that stood out the most was the man's bright red hair and his Anbu mask. He put the Panda Anbu mask to the side of his head covering his left ear revealing his face to the boy so he could get a little more comfortable, Izo then smiled as he was starting to know the young lad. ~

Opposite of the lightning and thunder the man was heard before he was seen. It was hard to catch onto the sound of his movements given the fact thunder was continuously echoing, but the foreign sound soon became evident to Sachio. Far later than it should have however. Have it been a real threat, the young Genin would have been set up for failure, given he coined onto the mans last step to leap over the edge of the rock. The dull head of hair snapped upwards in attention and he thoroughly scanned the frames attire. Ally He thought to himself content with the feeling of relief. Coming to a stand he bowed to his senior and gave a smile in return. "I'm Sachio Kazan, what about yourself stranger?" He had put his nerves aside for the time being, not wanting his first impression to be tarnished, especially in front of such a high ranking ninja. Curiously his eyes devoured the frame of the tall man and rested on his sheathed weapon on his hip. Many thoughts about the mans adventures with the tool clouded Sachio's mind and he wondered if his path as an Anbu Ninja had lead him to kill his own kind.

The thoughts were soon shook, before the boy was lost in them and his mouth opened to speak words carefully selected. "So are you the one that I'm training with today? If so, I'm already anxious wanna get started?" He paced through hand seals in his mind, remembering combinations and things of that matter, just as the words came out his mouth. He had hopes that the ninja would take it slightly easy on him, but didn't really count on it.

Izo wasn't all business. Today he was wearing his Anbu uniform overtop his usual get up but he wasn't all business. When Izo made his way atop the rock to meet young Sachio the boy started with a bow. Izo stopped the boy from bowing by putting up his right hand stopping at waist level, palm outward facing the boy, "Yo don't bow to me, I'm just another man like you are." his tone was serious because he meant it. He wasn't over anyone even though ranks are for a reason, Izo's rank was merely given to him via experience and not really power. Although it took a lot from him to not die in the midst of war, he did not want to be treated like a master by any means. No bowing. "Kazan, eh? Nice, I haven't seen much of your people around lately." Izo took a second thinking back about how not many Uzumaki are around Kumogakure either and would continue speaking, "My name is Izo Uzumaki, yea I know there ain't shit for us out here either!" Izo simply laughed at the thought of what he said for indeed there isn't many Uzumaki around here. ~

He turned his back on Sachio so he could walk to the middle of the large rock the two were resting atop and would be next to the lightning rod when he stopped, turned around looking at Sachio once more after he was done speaking. "Uhyezzir, let's have some fun with it eh? What are your strongsuits or areyou those types that want me to find out as we train with each other?" Izo's voice was loud but lightning kept striking over and over again in the same pattern that the Uzumaki had figured out before making his way onto the earthen platform, the safe haven of the Thunder Grounds. He watched the boy safely from his distance a good three meters from the boy, he almost leaned on the lightning rod but quickly remember where he was and stopped his body from leaning on it with a quick application of his calf muscles to stand straight up once more. ~

Being stopped before he could successfully bow, Sachio's downward directed eyes were summoned up to the Anbu ninja's. This had been the first time someone stopped him from bowing, but the reason was appealing to the ears. It showed that the Uzumaki was a very humble person even though Sachio was a little skeptical on the two being on the same plane as even humans. Meech felt like he had yet to prove himself as a shinobi, so Izo was very much still a greater man. Regardless, the Genin honored the man's request and he gave an affirmative nod to signify this. Giving a gentle chuckle to Izo's words of truth, his head again bobbed up and down with a light smile as he agreed. "I haven't heard much about the Uzumaki clan, as far as I know you guys are adept in Fuinjutsu or some thing like that." He gave a nonchalant shrug not giving the thought about lineage more attention.

As the man turned his back, again a few more still foreign hand seals were traced in Meech's mind. They were still juts in training that he wanted to perfect. It's gonna be hard against this guy, but if I play my cards right I may pull off a miracle and score a hit. His vision was fixated upon the man roaming dangerously close to the lightning rod and his expression lost its thoughtful poise. "Yeah, I'm more of a learn as I go type person when it comes to combat. Your were probably asking about what skills I have though huh?" He roved about in his mind and just simplified his broad answer into a small swallowable serving. "Nin, Tai, and Weaponry." He counted each on his fingers as he said them, the outstretched hand being in Izo's general direction. "Anyways!-" He declared while shaking his head, a new found bolt of energy ringing inside his frame, it was evident Meech was eager to get started. "Lets start before I start rambling!" As he spoke his last words, his hand was already on his weapon of choice and he rotated it quickly ushering forth a whistling noise. The opposite end of the weapon that bore the weight was steady in his other hand with a decent length of chain sagging in between both appendages. A grunt akin to a short winded battle cry was issued as Sachio executed a tricky maneuver.

Swinging the already rotating sickle in front of his body, he switched which hand was holding what part of the weapon. This made the sagging chain length snag or whip harshly. This repercussion was exploited and the force from the whipping of the chain was moved to the weighted end of the weapon. Releasing his grip on the weighted end, it would fire off towards Izo generally aimed towards his chest. The sickle would be stable in his other hand all the rotation of it transferred during the switch. This was all done in a short amount of time of course given the close proximity which the two combatants stood. As the wight would sail towards Izo, Sachio's now free hand would swiftly dig into his utility pouch on his thigh to withdraw two kunai. Each kunai occupied a knuckle and were ready to be tossed towards his foe. Killing of course wasn't in mind and highly unlikely given the nature of the attacks and the skill of his target.

Sachio Kazan, one of those young members of Kumogakure no Sato who always was upbeat and ready to go no matter the challenge and that mentality was the same as Izo Uzumaki. The two were matched and made for each other to be mates in this shinobi world. Izo chuckled a small bit hearing the young lad go through his abilities counting one by one on his right hand toward Izo who was already turned looking at Sachio at this time. A flash of lightning would occur followed by the booming thunder that would happen in a numbered pattern every now and then. Izo stood straight up thinking to what Sachio will start his first attack with. His weapon of choice, probably the Kusarigama. Let's see what happens when I take that away from him... Izo racked the thought of this in his head for a moment as he thought of a way to execute the plan. His left hand reached the hilt of his dagger katana, he drew it as soon as the chained weapon was rotating in front of his body. Izo put the blade in a diagonal sort of position in front of his body with the hilt being close to his left hip and the tip being near his belly button. ~

Upon the throw Izo's eyebrows raised a bit as he was not expecting the weight to be thrown at him. This surprised Izo and also showed the versatility of the weapon as well as the wielder. This genin know not only of the Kusarigama but he seemed to be able to make a weapon out of anything in his posession, what a nice skill to have. His blade was of no use in this attack and so Izo would simply sidestep the weight of the chained weapon while his right hand reached outward onto the chain itself grabbing the metal links and yanking it with all his might. The blade whipped toward Izo but not enough to hit him or anything. The man being of Anbu rank would easily be able to rip the weapon out of the young genin's grip and upon doing so Izo would take the dagger katana of his and plunge the tip into the ground between chain links. Izo looked at Sachio after the blade was sunk in the ground as he stood back up, his right foot was atop the hilt pushing the rest of the blade into the ground making it even harder for the young lad to grab the Kusarigama and use it again. ~

"So what does this mean for the young Sachio Kazan? Let's see young blood."

Izo laughed a bit after issuing a challenge to Sachio knowing he could handle it no matter what. Sachio seemed to be the type of young man with not just one trick up his sleeve and Izo was ready for anything he had to throw at him, figuratively and literally. His left hand would move under his right wrist as he was speaking his challenge and a smoke bomb would pop from under the shadow of his right wrist revealing some type of sealing method under his wrist and without a moment notice the bomb would fall from Izo's grasp. When the bomb hit the floor a flash of lightning would flash the area once more, this time between the two but far off to the side so it wouldn't blind anyone. Using the smoke as a cover, Izo would get on the side of the rock formation that was protruding from the ground that the two were having this little bout on as he repositioned. Izo would not be behind Sachio but still on the side of the rocks in a somewhat off stance while using chakra encased in his feet so he could do so. He would now wait patiently, being careful not to say anything so his position wouldn't be given away so easily. ~

His weight zipped about through the air, but it was dodged with minor effort. A quick step to the side, but what happened next made Sachio reconsider such tact is ever again. The chain length of his weapon was grabbed then snagged, but even worse in such a manner he couldn't direct the sickle to attempt a hit on his foe. Damn I should have saw that coming. He thought to himself, as he was disarmed and even worse had his weapon locked int he ground unless he could remove the weapon the was tight between the chain links. Meech's stance was naturally crouched down as anyone partaking in combat against a superior opponent should be.

Utilizing the time lapse Izo used to move his left hand to his right sleeve, Meech flipped his utility pouch open and withdrew three shuriken. Tossed in a decent spread that would occupy 3m, there was a lot of space left to dodge of course, but Sachio just needed to buy himself some time. By the time the shuriken were just leaving Meech's fingertips the smoke bombs had erupted clouding his vision and his foes. Given Izo was looking at Sachio, he would see the shuriken coming towards him, but their direct paths of travel would be undecipherable due to his own cloud of smoke. In the 3m spread, one was of course aimed at Izo, while the others were off to the right and left. "Haha you spoiled my previous tactic really fast, guess I'm gonna have to think very far ahead if I want to get anywhere in this fight. But I think I can manage." With his hands freed from the stars of metal, those hand seals he had mentally traced previously were physically executed. Ram->Ox->Bird->Snake->Tiger With the final hand seals arrival, he thrust the right hand forward and stamped his foot forward onto the solid stone.

The earth rumbled for a moment to signal the arrival of the jutsu that would cause a vent of lava to erupt underneath the battlefield. Upwards in streams they burst while quickly gaining grounds forwards towards where Izo was from in front of Meech. This would split the rock into and also create small pools of magma and ash in the area. Worst of all, it destroyed the lightning rod along with cleaving the boulder in two, making the whole Thunder Grounds a death zone. "I'm gonna have to rely on this lightning if I want a chance of giving you a hard time at least, so I figured I'd take a chance." Sachio stood on one side of the large stone, scanning the battlefield for where the Anbu Ninja would be, though the raining ash made this a little bit harder than it should have been. Steam also rose from out the earth where the magma had erupted from. Just as he predicted his jutsu would do, a bolt of lightning fell in the area that was once a safe zone and it detonated the rocks in the zone it hit, causing Sachio to jump in shock in the other direction. He landed safely still atop the boulder and wondered if he had underestimated the dangers he just caused. The cycle that was once created in the Thunder Grounds was now disrupted and even counting the thunders boom to know when lightning would drop was now useless.

Breathing a bit heavy from the toll the jutsu took on his chakra pools, he knew he'd need one of his clans men to produce him a new Kusarigama now that the other was probably melted mush.

Izo's crystal colored eyes were indeed facing the young Sachio meaning that the lad did get a glimpse at the way the young Kazan was holding the shuriken in his hands. All three in one hand meant a wide spread attack, anyone who knew anything in the field of projectile battle knew that and so he was ready for the most obvious form of attack. Izo figured the lad would throw one shuriken at his body's previous location as well as probably one on either side yet where eactly those were would be undecipherable as the smoke did indeed shroud the area. Izo did a sliding maneuver to reach the edge of the large boulder the two were training on and would grip the edge with his right hand before encasing his feet in chakra to be able to stand atop the side perfectly with no problems. Izo was on Sachio's left hand side before he started moving, he was controlling his breathing perfectly as he had trained to do so whilst growing up in the Shinobi world and he had gotten quite good at it. Controlling his breathing allowed the young Izo to collect his thoughts more clearly and conserve the most energy possible in terms of physical abilities and all that jazz.

Obvious plan of attack, he has to have something more than just those shuriken to fight me.

As soon as the last word raced through his mind Izo could feel the boulder rumbling under his chakra encased feet. He looked at the edge of the rock, Izo's face crunched up as he figured what was to happen next. Izo quickly got to the side of Sachio, already moving as the thoughts above raced through his mind, under the cover of the sound and rumbling of the earth under the two's feet he could easily be undetected by normal means. Scaling the wall perfectly Izo would stop as he reached right behind Sachio's previous location in which he hoped he hadn't moved. Izo's right arm extended outward to grip the edge of the rock again but this time to do the opposite as he did before, he pulled himself up over the edge of the humongous stalagmite looking rock that the two stood atop and upon doing such action he would reach for Sachio, for the boy was standing close to the edge, and grab for the back of Sachio's shirt tugging enough to pull him off of his feet and falling toward Izo. If this were to happen Izo would grab first behind the knees with his left hand and then would grasp the top of the back of the young lad with his right as his plan was to escape the now very dangerous area.

Once Izo hit the earth that was the foundation for the rock the lava emerged from the once safe haven. The rock that once housed the lightning rod keeping the area safe was crumbling due to Sachio's jutsu. Izo would not, however, stick around long enough to marvel on the beautiful site that is the lava erupting from the middle of the rock cracking it and splitting it in two. "Dang Sachio! That's nuts my dude!" Izo yelled out laughing at the chaos that was happening before him and his young genin friend. A lightning strike crashed into the lightning rod for the last time as it was envelopped by the lava emerging from the rock. Izo began to count in his head but before finishing his thoughts another lightning crashed not too far from his own location, not close enough to do damage or stop him from escaping, but it should be noted. "Damn the timing is off, we gotta get out of here!" Izo exclaimed as he ran for the clearing in the forest where he made his entrance, the only safe area now being the forest just outside of the Thunder Grounds. Izo made sure to keep chakra on point encased in his feet only looking up every other moment making sure to dodge any falling debris from the attack that Sachio had just unleashed on the now hell hole that was known as the Thunder Grounds.

Upon entering the clearing he had hoped Sachio followed or kept close enough not to be hurt by anything. Izo kept running, he kept running and ran into a tree but on purpose, he slowed down enough to not get hurt by running into the tree and just before hitting the tree he did a quick little maneuver where his body was turned a one eighty degree turn so he would face the action that is the crumbling Thunder Grounds. A smile was on his face as he stared at the chaos, the lava was taking over the area and it made him grin at the thought that this genin did this. He might be feeling crazy but this just proved to Izo the power that Sachio had and the determination he had to offer. "Sachio..." Izo started his sentence before plopping his body down to the ground, the back of his Anbu armor rubbing down the tree as he dropped. "You crazy man." He finished with a laugh keeping the smile. Izo's right leg would be bent upwards, allowing his right arm to rest on the apex of his knee with the rest of his forearm leaning outward as well. His left leg would be stretched out however, his left arm sitting comfortably on his limp leg looking up at Sachio as he was speaking to him.

Sachio was waiting for his foe, but the speed the man had moved up was far too fast for him to even assume that he would have been behind him already. Snagged by his shirt on the back, he felt his weight fall back and he figured this was the end of the training right here. With any other instructor, it probably would have been, but because they would have KO'd him. He surely did leave himself vulnerable, but luckily today he wouldn't be paying the price of it in full. Mental notes and self discipline was enough for him anyhow. He didn't quite figure how to avoid being taken off guard from the back like that, but he knew he wouldn't want to let it happen again even if his opponent was a master of stealth.

Next he was grasped to more times to ensure safety, his weight a bit shaky due to him being forced off the rock, the landing on the ground was a tad rough. Almost fully collapsing under his own weight, he had to use his hands to assist with the landing, but the end result was just a sloppy but harmless landing. Finding his sense of awareness he saw his sparring partner sprinting off and Sachio figured he'd do likewise. The spar was still on his mental of course, but if an Anbu showed such urgency in leaving the area, then it should be something that's noted and followed. "That's nothing yet, one day I'll be able to split the whole Thunder Grounds Izo-San." Of course this was something that would require him to be nigh Kage level in terms of raw power, because right now a lot of the destruction that was taking place wasn't meant to. Meech was still green to the Yoton element and his father had warned him that if he wasn't careful sometimes the jutsu fed off one ones determination and could get out of hand.

As the two continued their leave once lightning struck again, Meech noticed Izo had mentioned something about timing. Thank God the lightning didn't strike near him, so he could not only live, but also hear this statement and the Genin would be sure to ask later, for now he was doing his best to keep his mind alert and clear to flee the Thunder Grounds in an appropriate pace for the situation.

With the forest in sight, Sachio grew relieved and his pace notably slowed a bit and he began to succumb to fatigue. The Thunder Grounds was no walk in the park and the run was quite taxing, but regardless the boy made it out as did Izo. Hands on his slightly bent knees, hunched over breathing hard, sweat dripped from his face onto the ground, before he had looked up to Izo. He had only called his name, but the moment of silence behind it had Meech a bit scared. Was he in trouble, was he about to be complimented, or worse. Meech's heartbeat thumped in his chest painfully, but hard enough to drive his next act and make it happen in a flash. His hands already near his thighs twitched ever so slightly. This was his gut and instincts nudging him to act, but fear still held him back from executing. With Izo in a seemingly lax state -yet to sit however- he had a bit of the upper hand. Easy access to his utility pouch on his thigh that was only inches away, he swallowed his fear and swiftly retrieved a kunai and jutted it out towards the standing Anbu ninja before he could speak again or sit at the base of the tree. This was in no means an attack on the ninja, Meech was simply acting how he felt was appropriate. The Anbu ninja hadn't called off the spar and with the overactive imagination and slightly paranoid imagination Meech had, he felt the Anbu ninja was about to pull out a sly maneuver on him and ironically say "We never stopped sparring." Meech however, wanted that line for himself, so with his upright and solid stance, a kunai firmly held out about a six inches away from Izo in the boys right hand, he spoke through his heavy breathing. "We never stopped sparring did we?"

This wasn't said in a know it all kind of tone like some would utilize in this situation. It was more of a genuine question, seeing if he had correctly finished Izo's statement, given the Anbu ninja was cut off after he simply uttered "Sachio".

Izo was looking at the chaos that was happening due to this young genin when Sachio decided to reach for his ninja pouch and reveal yet another shuriken. Izo wasn't surprised by this, any shinobi would want to keep sparring after an amazing bout like the one that was just had and with adrenaline still pumping this was definitely no exception. The Uzumaki did not flinch however as his actions weren't interrupted much at all, only his last sentence. Izo's right arm moved in front of his body, his eyes following the kunai perfectly allowing his wrist protected by his Anbu guard to predict where the kunai would end up and so it did. The kunai bounced off of his wrist guard and landed into the ground just in front of Izo, tip plunged into the earth that he quickly took a seat on. Sachio let out words barely audible over the heavy breathing, running for his life seemed to have taken a toll on the young lad yet Izo was seemingly unaffected by the trials that just happened. But he was, he just doesn't like to show any sign of weakness at all at any time. Izo's eyelids squinted as he looked at Sachio, the corners of his mouth rose in a smile as he took a seat at the trunk of the tree. Izo's right leg would be bent upwards, allowing his right arm to rest on the apex of his knee with the rest of his forearm leaning outward as well. His left leg would be stretched out however, his left arm sitting comfortably on his limp leg looking up at Sachio as he was speaking to him.

"I guess we didn't... but I'm done now. That was much too crazy for me to keep on going. I think we're gonna have to clean that up Sachio haha." Izo's right hand moved from his knee to behind his head rubbing it softly in that token way that anime characters do matched with that same silly look on his face. Izo's eyes would then look past the young Sachio and back onto the Thunder Grounds where they just were to see how it has changed in less than an hour. To think this genin just did that... what power. The Kazan are no joke. Izo began thinking about Sachio's power as well as his versatility. The young lad used a kusarigama in an abnormal way that normally would have worked if Izo wasn't as quick as he was and then he destroyed almost all of the Thunder Grounds. Izo put his right hand back on his bent knee and looked at Sachio wherever he was doing whatever he was doing and would speak once more with a very serious tone, "Who is your sensei young Sachio?" Izo asks, if he did not have one Izo is interested in taking in the young lad under his wing and showing him the ropes of shinobi life. Granted Izo wasn't much of an experienced man himself but the two could learn together, they seemed to be sort of similar in terms of personality.

I wonder what other tricks this boy has up his sleeve, there's no way he only has the weaponry and that lava. There's gotta be more and if not, we'll work on it. Izo thought as a devilish grin overcame his face unknowingly. Izo has been alone most of his life in Kumo and so he is willing to try anything to make new companions and what better way than to start with the genin of the village? The two could have a perfect student teacher relationship and grow to be real close friends one day, Sachio obviously becoming Raikage one day because that's what all the cool kids are trying to do these days.

Disarmed just like that. Was this really the difference between their abilities? Sachio couldn't help but eye the kunai on the ground for a while, before looking over towards the sitting Izo. The boy squatted down, his center of weight a bit forward as he chest was slightly over his knees. His arms outstretched over his knee caps, his fingers grazed the grass. Looking over his shoulder at the carnage with blitzing lightning and crying thunder, he felt a bit bad, but not too bad. He'd be cleaning it up after all, so at least he was going to be responsible for his actions. "Damn, looks like I got a bit carried away . . ." His head turned back forward, but his attention was directed downwards towards the grass as he pulled a few blades out and let them slide from between his fingers. "I'd love to help fix it up though!" He wasn't looking forward to going back in the Thunder Grounds, but it was only fair that he at least tried to fix the mess he had caused. "Who's your Sensei?" He asked. This cause Sachio to look up to the man, with a contemplative expression on his face. He had no formal shinobi sensei, but his father and some other clansmen were in charge of overseeing his growth as a Kazan clan member. Figuring it was safe to say he had no traditional Kumogakure no Sato sensei, he answered. "As far as Kumogakure is concerned I don't have one. I hope you're not thinking of taking me as your pupil haha. I'm a mess as you can tell, but I guess some guidance could be useful . .  well would be useful." Sachio had yet to see the jutsu style of the ninja and he was highly curious if they'd be able to collaborate and if their styles would be able to coexist. Sachio's combat style hadn't been molded yet however, so that didn't really matter and his personality was fairly passive, so it would be fairly easy. As for his element, he couldn't speak for the damned lava.

Given the heavy breathing Sachio was demonstrating Izo could only guess that it was his last stretch. Confirmation of this information came when Sachio squat down at the entrance where the two came in from the Thunder Grounds. Sachio's squatting stance was similar to Izo's own sitting position, the two were now sitting and relaxing just having a conversation with each other about Sachio's future as a shinobi. The young genin was scratching at the field of grass the two were sitting upon, pulling up a few pieces here and there out of what Izo guessed was boredom or something like that. Izo was watching carefully looking at the young genin as he looked like he was contemplating what just happened between the two tearing up the Thunder Grounds the way they just did. Well, the way he just did. Izo let out a light chuckle, looking at te grass smiling as he heard Sachio say he may have gotten carried away, he couldn't help but look at it a different way than the young lad had explained it. That was just fun... I haven't had fun like that in a long time... Izo thought as he was still looking on Sachio, his head shot up from his last position after he asked about a sensei in Sachio's life.

Sachio explained his situation, as far as Kumo goes blah blah blah Izo shook his head listening to the young genin say what he had to say but when he ended Izo had to say something. "A mess?" Izo said almost disgusted at what he was hearing from this young lad talking about himself as a mess. It may have been just in a joking manner but Izo couldn't stand it, he stood up from the base of the tree that he was leaning his back on while he was sitting and walked over to Sachio standing next to him looking out onto the lava that was encercling the Thunder Grounds. A flash of ligthning would illuminate the area causing Izo's shadow to consume the area he once was in, his shadow devoured the tree that he was sitting on moments ago. "Sachio, you're not a mess. That was so much fun just now. Is your heart still beating? I don't know if yours was but mine was beating uncontrollably when that was happening just now, and it was awesome! I never felt so young!" Izo exclaimed to Sachio hoping he was listning, if he had stood up with Izo watching the chaos then Izo would put his left hand on Sachio's right shoulder signifying the position the two were in.

Izo would then look at Sachio with his right hand still on his shoulder if allowed and would speak, "I would be honored to be your sensei young Kazan." Izo said walking backward a small bit bowing to this young genin in a playful way. It was all joking, Izo took his job seriously but he knew when to turn off the serious act around those who didn't want to be so serious. Maybe it was Izo that didn't want to be serious, something about this young man's energy made Izo feel younger than he was, and he's only twenty four! Whatever the case may be Izo is excited to take on Sachio as a student so he would finish with one more plead, "If you'll allow me... young grasshopper~" Izo said in a tone where one could tell he was trying to be serious at first but all in good time one would notice he was still in a playful environment.

"Look you don't have to answer now, I'll be training here every day this week, come find me again if you decide yes." Izo realized that this question is a big thing in a young genin's life and so he wanted Sachio to be able to really think on it and be able to make a decision he can live with. With his last words, Izo turned his back on Sachio and the Thunder Grounds leaving the area.

Sachio was left at the Thunder Ground outskirts in minor disbelief. Had he really just received praise from such a high ranking ninja. A ninja that hadn't even used jutsu to foil all his plans. Sure the battle hadn't lasted long, but for the most part it showed that Sachio had potential at the least. He loved the feeling and was in awe, awe struck by himself. A smile slithering onto his face, he bashfully chuckled it off in privacy and decided to head back to the compound to talk to his father and other clansmen about what he was offered. He knew the other few Genin at the compound didn't have a traditional Kumogakure sensei, so he wasn't sure where they stood on it. Sometimes they could be strict when it came to such things, wanting to stick to clan traditions only, but sometimes they saw how being exposed to the outside could be beneficial to the now and in the future. So with high hopes he exited the scene, not through the deadly Thunder Grounds of course, but all the way through Kumogakure to head back up into the mountains to go home.
