Walking along the Anbu Captain would sigh, his luck had taken a turn for the worse last night and so he was stuck on what effectively was trade patrol. The mission was simple enough and was done every day, one Anbu would go down the road to the nearest village and make sure that the road was clear from both bandit and desert creature…however, due to this in fact, the patrols now were increasingly boring. The monthly wide sweeps were something else, but Captain Purple just had to live with the hand he was dealt for now.

As B walked across the shifting sands on a hard packed area of land that curved from horizon to horizon, he would notice that he had not changed his shoes. The young man did not have to look down to find this fact out, and much to his dismay it would be some time before he was able to remedy the ailment that befell him. Taking a snif of the arid air the Kazama would pause for a second before continuing on and nodding his head with a satisfied smirk. He had placed the smell and it was coming from the village up ahead, this time it seemed that the trip had taken a bit longer than normal but B counted that on the sand in his shoe.

Upon reaching the village square he removed his shoes and emptied them quickly before hurrying back on his way, the village itself was nowhere near Suna’s size but it was still rather large with enough people to mill around and make B feel uncomfortable. Making his way back the young Anbu would think about what to do with the rest of his day, he had started with the sun rising and now he was about to finish his mission before the sun hit mid-day. In B’s mind that day was not as bad as he expected it to be.
