Alder walked the market streets looking for a good deal. Rubbing the clan crest on his scarf subconsciously he looked towards by booth in consideration. Alder consulted the list the prisoner had given him. Even though this wasn’t how Iwagakure did things this was Alder’s way his Nindo. It is his belief that information is best distracted through comfort. Not seeing he wanted from the vendor he decided to inquire about it. Showing him the list the old man took out his glasses and took the paper with care holding it in wrinkly hands. The old but strong you could tell he worked hard for his living and for many years at that. “Some of these Items are rare around here but I have something similar that could substitute that one right there.” Pointing the third item down Alder was about to inquire to country of origin of the items on the list. When the sounds of broken pots was heard proceeded by peoples loud voices
Hearing yelling and a commotion he put the list his pocket. Heading quickly towards the noise moving gracefully in the crowd Alder discovered there was a thief. Assuring the vendor that everything would be all right he calmed the person down. Before asking the details of what happened and what the person looked like. Anbu typically didn’t handle these matters and most would find it beneath them. Alder however relished in helping out the common citizen. They didn’t know of the villages darkness and were grateful for the help they received.
Taking off in the direction the person had headed two men who winded walked slowly back. “Have you seen a person probly in a hurry carrying a bunch of things?”
Stopping in front of Alder they answered through panted voices. “He went that way, he was just to fast. I mean he wasn’t normal.” Thanking them Alder body flickered away. To which one commented to the other that Alder was much faster.
The robber wasn’t nearly as far as they made it seemed. Judging by tracks he had started walking normally after the other two men gave up. Following the trail until the man within sight Alder casted the *Sly mind affect*
“What the hell is going on I keep traveling in circles! I’m losing my mind. Is this some kind of jutsu?”
Sitting on a crate Alder stands. “That would explain a lot wouldn’t it. But you didn’t get it quite right. Your foot work just suggest a slight bet of training. And your right it’s my jutsu, genjutsu but you can’t release it can you?” Taking an offense stance the man prepares to engage Alder, placing the bag of stolen goods on the ground he takes weak stance.
Waving a hand Alder advices against his course of action. “You that won’t work you failed the academy didn’t? You are familiar with the ranks at least right?” That was the last straw the man couldn’t take this stranger preaching to him anymore it was bad enough that he had washed out but now he was getting scolded by the very type person he had once inspired to be. Yelling out loud battle cry he pretend asa if he were going to attack and made a run for it.
Shaking his head Alder remained where he was knowing that the genjutsu still affect the man would end up right back where he started. Panting the man was right back not much later. “You know it won’t stop until its released. You could stab yourself that will end it, but hear.” Putting his hands together *Release* The genjutsu was now ended. “So as I was saying the ranks, Genin, Chunin, Special jonin, and Jonin. Of course there are varying levels of ability amongst everyone but I am the latter. I won’t let you go, but you can’t be left brought the normal prison.” Taking off running again Alder this time stands up body flickers infront of him hitting him in the cause him to fall over. “You will be sent to the shinobi prison. But perhaps if you give up I could speak on your behalf and just maybe we can get you to finish the academy this time, I’ll help you.
Crying and overwhelmed and nodding in acceptance. He gets to his feet and hands the goods Alder. Shaking his head no he points to the man. “You stole it you must make it right. Facing judgment is a condition to my help. The two proceeded back to the market and the theif gave back the items and apologized. Alder kept an eye out for him as he finished his own shopping then brought him to the shinobi prison under the escort of two Chunins.
