Description: There has been a strange religion spreading throughout the Shinobi World. Your mission is to attend a public Christian gathering in the outskirts of the Land of Fire, and record their activities and motives. You'll most likely have to fight against a Christianized shinobi who'll be at the forefront of the assembly (Genin-level).
At last, he had arrived at Taro town. He looked around and saw very strange, yet simply symbols tapered all around the houses, and even in the biggest building. It seemed to be something of a cross, with a vertical rectangle and a smaller horizontal rectangle right on it. He stopped by a bartender to see what it meant, and after a few suspicious looks, he had been told that the "crucifix" was a sign of "God". Many words were thrown into there that Ryuho did not understand such as "Jesus", 'Iscariot", and "Bible", but then again he never did take great comfort in religion. And he did stick out like a sore thumb. Although he did not wear his extravagant clothing, but rather a plain white haori, people could tell that this man was a foreigner. Ryuho could have sworn he heard the word "Heru" (or maybe it was "Ell") muttered around him.
He had stationed himself right on top of a tradesmen's cart, for the crowd was so large that he had no choice but to watch from on top of a heightened object 20 meters away. There was a small stand somewhere in the middle, but there was what seemed to be a weak amplifier in the Father's hand. The priest spoke. He had a very high-pitched voice, that made the amplfiier somewhat unneccesary, for his natural voice carried just fine throughout the crowd. He said many terms that Ryuho, once again, did not comprehend. But again, he did not plan to understand their religion. He simply was to observe what they did, and if they said anything about crushing the Leaf, then he would act accordingly. With fierce dictation and brutal anger, he would disperse the crowd by slaughtering 100 of them, leap up into the stand, and gut the priest again, again, and again, until his Christian body fell to the ground, and it ascended to where this "Heru" (or maybe 'Ell" - for Ryuho was not sure) place is.
Or that's what he'd say. But Ryuho was not violent, and he did not want to go through violent things again. Rather, to complete this mission, Ryuho would take a laid-back approach, as he'd always done. He would let someone else, someone brash and stupid, take the lead. They would create dissession among the crowd, and allow him to confront the Christians. Ryuho listened intently. Nope....nothing yet. But it does seem like this God fellow is a VERY nice person. I would love to learn about him first thing once I get back home. Ryuho had found God.
He continued to listen. He liked a lot of things that were said. Forgiveness, love, compassion, and sins. In his life, Ryuho needed that. And it provided some level of spiritual comfort that he would never receive anywhere else in his life. It was during his own intent listening to the Preacher's words that the words "And we shall even spread our teachings to the main village Konoha, for we shall baptize the sins of their citizens and promote a more healthy future" did all hell break loose. Smoke bombs were thrown about, and the crowd immediately panicked as three different Konohagakure shinobi thrashed people aside and tried to get to where the Preacher was. Apparently, they thought that the whole baptizing campaign was a direct threat. Ryuho's senses were now alert, and he leapt into the smoke and light and bangs, to find himself confronting a rather large, muscular ninja armed with a large sword. Aside from physique, he didn't look particularly threatening. Sure the guy had swung the broadsword once or twice before, but from his stance, Ryuho judged him to be a clear inferior to his skill. Ryuho smiled and simply asked the guy to step aside so he may knock out the Father. The guy responded by charging him with a straight-forward Kendo charge. Ryuho sidestepped, and made a swift horizontal cut aiming at the guy's neck, but the guy surprisingly ducked below the blade - such reflexes. But Ryuho responded by kicking the guy in the gut, which didn't seem to do much, but he followed it by smacking the bottom of his blade's hilt right on top of the guy's head. Distracted, Ryuho ran towards the guy and delivered a strong vertical slash down on him, which the guy blocked with his arm. He had sacrificed his arm, for it nearly lopped right off, but in exchange, the guy used his arm to grab Ryuho in an armlock, and held him tightly to his chest. The guy reached for his broadsword, chanting his victory and recanting words from the Christian text (once again "Heru" or "Ell" was mentioned). Unable to escape, Ryuho eyed what seemed to be a wakizashi attached to the guy's hip. Reflexively, Ryuho took the blade and stabbed violently into the guy's rib, which stopped from bringing his sword down on Ryuho's back, thus saving him from "heru" (or "Ell...)
Ryuho had targeted a very sensitive point, and so the guy collapsed, bleeding from the side. He will not die. Yare yare..... all this bloody conflict and violence....girls don't like this... Ryuho thought, gravely. Looking around, it looked as if the other ninja had already subjugated the Preacher, and had delivered enough damage to put him in a coma for a few days. By the time, the Konohagakure authorities would have arrived to de-baptize the town. All that was left was the report. Ryuho left the scene with his camel. He would later find out that the blade he used was a Christian dagger, and that the Hell that people spoke of was the worst place in the world.
